Happy Birthday! Its also nice to throw a fried egg on top of a rice bowl--especially if it has a runny yolk that can be drizzled over all the other ingredients. PS. For almond milk you have to soak the almonds first and then blend them WITH water and then strain out the almond bits.

Almond milk is made with almonds and. water.
I love your conversations about almond milk. Most basic recipe for almond milk is 4 to 1 ratio. 4 cups of water, 1 cup of soaked almonds. Blend on high and strain through nut milk bag. Add ins can be vanilla, salt or other extracts. for sweetener maples syrup, honey or dates.

Belated happy birthday! I forgot that you are a December baby. Me, too! This video landed on my birthday--the 16th. Also, Belle is awesome for creating her own recipes. That is wonderful! FWIW, almond milk is made by soaking almonds in water overnight and then blending them in more water until you have a creamy pulp. Then you strain the liquid out and sweeten it to your taste--that is the "milk." Almond flour is made from blanched and peeled almonds that are then ground into a fine flour. Almond meal is non-peeled almonds that are ground until gritty.

Awww ❤❤❤ Belle! She's my kinda cook (a dash of this & a splash if that...no measurements) lol! Btw I make my almond milk in my little bullet/ninja a lot. I've used more "proper" methods, but I've most often used that as a super quick way when I have to run out of the house in the morning. My quick way is to add almonds & double the water. Then I add a dash of cinnamon, vanilla extract & a LITTLE non-sugar sweetener then blend & drink. When I don't want a ton of the grounds I just pour it through a cheese cloth or sieve straight into my cup & drink it that way! 😊
