I believe if you add yourself to the 'operator' group you should get the Shutdown / Restart options

even better news, WINE9 mesa dri is finally working!!!!!! (no more reported wrong OS version error that was on their end, not ours). time to pick up the pieces, i had a full working steam setup with WINE7, skipped WINE8 entirely, hopefully 9 brings in some game changing... changes... yea :P

Apparently they added 'networking' to the man pages with examples of how to configure interfaces. I always jad trouble remembering the wpa_supplicant syntax

I'm making frish install for freebsd 14.1-releas with encryption disk and swap and when adduser I'm using encryption zfs
Install xfce with lightdm login manager
I can't login to xfce with lightdm login manager
but I can login with tty and when using startxfce4 I have error
Authorization required but no authorization protocol specified
xinit: giving up
xinit: unable to connect to x server: socket is not connected
xinit: server error
my user in group video wheel operator staff
