what's wrong with it sounding polished? Don't agree on it sounding sterile...especially the drums sound really good on this album. I have the feeling the "hit making machine" Howard Benson held their drummer back for the self titled album. The drumming on the new one is insane.

That's because this is Saosin and not Circa Survive. Green does two very different styles with each separate band.. they're not supposed to sound like each other.. That's the whole reason he left Saosin in the first place. They wanted to make different music styles.
