The blend of aggression and melody is so well executed and the entire last minute of the song is a straight wake up call. This is the first new album release in a awhile from any band that I'm truly feeling is going to become iconic.
agreed. sometime people ask how I can like music like this "screamo" as they call it. it's a mix of the metal music with the aggressive vocals mixed with calm vocals and instrumentals. it just all comes together to make a fucking great sound and I love it

Anthony green is easily my number one favorite vocalist. the fact that he actively makes music for so many different bands is amazing. He is such an amazing and down to earth guy and everything he touches turns into gold. this feels like a reboot of saosin. I only like a few songs with cove, but translating the name is a masterpiece. Anthony is great at making his voice fit all genres of music. in circa, most of it is more progressive and experimental rock, and his voice fits perfectly. in saosin, obviously they had a post hardcore, in your face sound from the very beginning, and anthony really brings that back. from his solo music to collaborations to various bands that he sings for, this man is a power house. Great job Anthony. Keep doing all that you do and most importantly stay in love with it. No matter what happens you will always have music to separate the pleasure from the pain. I can't wait to hear what's in the future, but I know it'll be worth the wait

if you were too young to appreciate music when Anthony green was in this band don't even attempt to criticize his vocals...he made saosin successful even after he left and deserves nothing less than a glorious "welcome home"
All of these bands these kids love all stemmed from the original Saosin music with Anthony. Anthony Green's vocals influenced the whole generation.
Anthony green is like the chuck Norris of vocals. If he says you like it, you do. He makes dissonant a beautiful sound.
I wasnt alive when anthony green was in saosin and i still prefer his vocals over cove reber, cove reber wasnt bad, but anthony green is just so much better

I highly recommend listening to Descensus if you haven't already. his vocals in that album, screams and all, definitely show how strongly he can express emotion, especially in his screening.

+Zach Keenum He was kicked out of the band long after the album was entirely written. Not sure if he recorded on the whole thing though. Probably on the majority because it might have been recorded in 2014 and 2015 when he was still part of the band.

I remember being on the SaoBoards sharing stories with these dudes. I'm a lifer. Saosin forever. Alex is my favorite drummer. Especially the first EP.
This band will never cease to be anything but amazing.
People critiquing his screams or vox just need to stop crying. This isn't some bro metal band or circa survive. This is exactly the direction I was hoping they would move back to upon reintroducing AG into the band. Aggressive, inspiring, catchy, and nostalgic. I've been hoping for this since he left. Keep listening and enjoy, if it wasn't what they wanted as musicians, they wouldn't do it. Can't wait to sing to this in my car like they're old songs and when they come to Cleveland again. Great job guys. Can't wait for more.

These songs really grow on you. I listened to this for the first time and thought it was alright, but then I kept coming back and it got to the point of just spamming repeat. The last minute (Bridge) of this song is so good.
Control and the Urge to Pray is especially catchy.

I can jam to this, but honestly can't get into as much as I used to. I prefer the direction of Circa Survive, its a bit more progressive, but both styles are good.
