Aw your mother in law seems precious! I think Coconut wax has better hot throw but you're right, it really depends on the fragrance oil.

Thanks for sharing. Those look amazing! If I had to guess, I would say you might have forgotten to subtract the amount of fragrance oil from the total weight. If you use 10% for example, you want your wax weight to be 90% of the final weight. Also, just to clarify for those who might not be so familiar with candle making, "tunneling" is usually a term used to describe the hole that occurs when burning a candle that has been under-wicked vs. "sink hole" for pre-burn holes/voids.

I've watched quite a few of your video's now, and I must say they are all easy to understand, and the end result is very high standard. The only ones I haven't watched yet are your bath bombs, which I'm definitely gonna. So Thank you . 🥰🇬🇧🌲⛄

Your candles look beautiful. Note from a fellow candle crafter. Never pour your wax fast. Slow and steady. This will guarantee no air pockets and no sink holes. Air pockets are very dangerous in candles.

a little tip :..... , flash point on the fragrance oils does not matter when pouring into wax. Lots of misconceptions out there, and this is one of them.

I did notice you moved the box alot after you poured the candles. That can be a cause of sink holes. You want to not move them if you can help it. But it is an easy fix so no big deal ☺️

I love your video but being new to candle making, it would be informative if you gave the actual ounces of the fragrance oils and weight of the wax and size of the jars. Thanks

Hi there! Great video! I havent made candles yet (I hope to soon!) So im coming from a consumer point of view. We have candles where I work and I have found that im allergic to many of the bases. I know that the soy bases dont affect me much. I will have to try the apricot cocoa. Thanks so much!

You use the wick setters according to which jar you're using and how full the particular jar. You can use the wick setters the way you are using for your jars since there is a significant amount of gap between the metal and the wax. But for jars that have wax until the top, you can invert it and place it like a pyramid so that the setter doesn't get submerged in the wax.

I’ve noticed with the wick centers it depends on the size jar. I agree with another comment the sink hole is from moving the box or, from pouring fast. I just heat gun all mine anyways haha
I think the wax knows it drives us crazy! 😂
Hope you had a great thanksgiving!

Do you need vanilla stabilizer if you use Blackberry Bourbon scent? Because I know it has vanilla in it. I ordered some for bath bombs. I assume I need the stabilizer
