I’ve been working with this wax for over a year and have just given up was using wooden wicks and could never get a good hot throw this video gives me some hope 🥺
I tested this wax with wooden wicks and I didn’t get a great…or good HT. I’ve also tested a bunch of other cotton wick series and I get the BEST HT with HTP wicks. I have never had any issues with soot and they are self trimming! 🙌🏽

Love this video! How did you decide what kind of wick to use?
Hi!!! Thanks so much! ☺️ I did lots of testing! I tested about 6 different wick series and settled on HTP and CD wicks. Ultimately, I liked the way that HTP wicks burned with my candle formula…I get GREAT hot throw, a nice calm burn, no sooting, and I love that they curl as they burn. I hope that helps. Test…test…test! It took me almost 2 years to narrow down what worked best for me.

@@4Martinis No problem! And yes…it’s overwhelming. Don’t try to test everything at once. If you’re using coconut apricot wax I highly suggest that you start with HTP, CD, and CDN wicks 😉
why not just buy the avery blank sticker labels and print on that? Such a time saver!!
Hi Ashley! I agree, it would definitely be a time saver. I opted to do things this way because I wanted textured labels. Avery doesn’t offer that option in label paper and companies that do offer textured labels are expensive. While this does require extra steps, it was totally worth it to have the look and feel that I wanted for my candles. Thanks for the question! 😊

Hi Kasey! With this wax I pour immediately after mixing in the fragrance oil.

Hi! A little short of 3.5 inches
What is the formula
I use a 10% fragrance load. For these candle vessels that translates to 14.2g of FO and 127.8g of wax. Total Net WT of the candle is 142g 😊 hope that helps
