Makes sense to me. They are the protagonists
Apparently life is just an anime to them
@cloudsidky From the moment that you know, Gumayusi father says to him if he is not Challenger in one month he can't become a pro player and he succeed the day before. You know he is a protagonist
@@erwan-matthieuliantsoaraza2637 Holy that was some anime shit
Meta is temporary, baron flip is forever. Teamfight one can lose for 15 mins straight, then flip the game off of one teamfight.
I like that. Meta is temporary, Baron flip is forever 😂
Yep. You can lose lanes and skirmishes in early/mid game but win one important teamfight late game = win the game xd
They are getting DDoS-ed to no end, and they can't stream.
Solution: play professional games like solo queue.
Looool
That is exactly why they still have so many fans to this day. They lose some important games most of the time but fans still watch them.
Then they eventually win and take it all. It's "magic" and they're one of the teams fun to watch.
Yah t1 magic is op
It feels like when I don’t study for the test and walk out with an A
Exactly!
they do this every event.
It makes no sense to me how you can keep doing this... Worlds last year, MSI this year, summer 2023, and now ewc...
@@cloudsidkyjust t1 and international event love...they always come on top... who cares about lck when you can win worlds 😂😂😂
I thunk you forget the edg game the rng games too many to mention but in short they the the king oog comebwck@@cloudsidky
One thing that is still consistent is whichever cup T1 lifted, GenG wasn't in close vicinity.
😭😭😭😭 poor geng
I feel like in the LCK they try to hard to stick to the LCK meta, and then internationals come around and when they start struggling they just go to what they do best instead of what everyone else is doing, and it works out for them
Yah you'd think they'd like learn from it at some point but maybe they just enjoy it lol
@@cloudsidky eh. I don't think this team really cares about their regular season score anymore at this point. They already have an undefeated season in spring 22
@@chrissears5482yeah since qualifying for worlds is one thing they care and even while in a slump they still appear at grand finals of lck 😂
Funniest shit so far this LCK Summer season is against BRO. T1 literally just landed from EWC and have major jetlag and still demolish with Keria half asleep. The throws and the ints were something else from T1 but they still have the "nah, we'd win" worlds buff
Yah the really have the anime buff
The answer is, the played the Meta against KT and lost.
Did the same thing at the beginning of EWC.
Then they said "screw it! We suck at Meta, but Rock at pick comps. Lets just default to our bread n butter."
And what do you know. They win.
They do one style, and do it Better than Anyone else.
And this all works, because if Faker's shot calling in clutch moments.
They are great at pick comps but idk if that's what mind controlled TL to Burger flip Baron and lose the game right there
@@cloudsidky oh that was Umpti being Dumpti. And it all went downhill from there.
Loooooool dumpti 😂😂😂😂
When PEOPLE DOUBT it, MEAN they're WINNING 😎👍
T1 Like Real Madrid, Don't HAPPY before you FINISH 🤗
Uhhh 😂
I see real fan
Its called the T1 classic
Ikr 😂
Well there can be very many different anwsers. But in general, T1 is an extremely good team and they are very good and very quickly to exploit any mistake. If you happen to get caught or they find the angle, T1 will snowball the game out of control. Also T1 sometimes fucks up drafts, this patch we have seen Zeus god mode and Zeus underperforming, for example. In the same series, the champ he picks makes all the difference. But I think the main reason and why it is difficult from them to beat GenG is that they are good exploiting teams. GenG is a team that only in rare ocasions (like vs TES) makes mistakes.
I think they really are world class at punishing mistakes but going from losing to kt to WINNING ewc is huge performance improvement imo
GenG lost to this same KT team and then went undefeated all the way through MSI til now
They are similar to 2018 IG in a sense that they have a tendency to throw games with their drafts combined with their overreliance in their mechanics early and mid game resulting to a lot of early deaths and no chance in contesting objectives.
But when everything went their way, They suddenly become the best player in their respective roles.
Yah this team is just weird to me lol. They have so much variance
Its not weird. THATS T1. As a fan since 2013 they always gave us that rollercoaster feeling. 😂 We are used to it already
Nahh man. 2015-2016 they really were just always winning. Even 2022 they may have lost finals but they ALWAYS looked scary. Sometimes this t1 team just looks like it can lose to even kt (and they did) but then somehow they can win ewc 🤷♂️ and look great doing it
when I thought Zeus cant rumble, oh boy I was wrong
His rumble was absolutely insane man. I was just as surprised
you watch worlds 2023? no?
@@shoegazevelasquez3168 and your point? he was aatrox monster that era and barely use rumble. In fact he only used it once
it is impossible for a t1 toplaner to not be good at rumble fyi
@@TheMrAsianSantaClaus I was about to go off until I read "T1" in your comment🤣🤣
I mean they're world champions after all.
Yah I guess
Twice. Within months apart.
@@fujisyusuuke1709 huh?
@@cloudsidky they won 2 "World" cups within months
I stopped asking questions a while ago
and just chose to believe in them
Lol probably a simpler life living that way
T1 is a team that likes to take foot off the gas when against a team like BRO even dropping a game. But they also know how to clutch it in important times.
Idk they looked horrible first 3 games at worlds then became super Saiyan and dominated. They looked weak lck 2023 summer even after faker came back. This team is just built different I guess
@@cloudsidky well i guess faker's the key?
Win or lose they're simply a fun team to watch. Sometimes they int non stop but since you know they have a really high skill cap you'd be at the edge of your seat thinking what crazy play they'd do to come back. That or it's just a stomp.
It’s either int win one team fight and beat you 2-0 or they absolutely destroy you right from the start as cvmax said they will violate your human rights
Yah you can just never count them out which is fun to watch
It's like when the protagonist looses and hits rock bottom and everyone doubts him even his friends then 1 hardcore training montage later wrecks the antagonist and wins big time
Yah t1 are the main characters for sure
Why T1 loses games? Because they get to become the underdogs. Its hard being in the top in every tournament. It takes toll to the player's mentality. Too much expectations adds pressure. By losing games, fans and viewwers may lose faith, minimizing expectation which in turn minimizes pressure. Good strategy I dare say.
Uhhh that's an interesting theory
Tom and Kkoma's advice whenever they have a scrim : Just enjoy the game
Just have fun and win xd
They tend to limit test on one game when they know they can easily defeat their opponents.
I highly doubt that tbh
T1 hâter myself but they just find ways to win and you have to respect that
Agreed
Maybe it's a good strategy. Since usually, matches are best of 3s and 5s, they use the first game to analyze their enemy's meta read.
Maybe
Aside from the Ddos issue, the meta is just not in their favor. I think Faker should use champs that make teamfight plays cause that's T1's forte, not this Corki Tristana thing.
Yah I think that's why he just banned trist and played the azir and yasou into it
that's why their company is called
T1 esports & ENTERTAINMENT😂 hahahahaha
Loooool 😂
They legit has the best jungler, support and objectively the mid in the world. They just take turns carrying games. One person under perform, and the other person take over.
Even if Faker is a bit washed, he achieved something no one else could and won world's several times.
They have the best jungler, sure. Def not mid and support rn. Chovy is the best mid rn and it ain't even close. Not saying t1 don't have world class players, just that they aren't number 1, you know
I think they are bored and play bored. Remember as Faker won worlds he said it was easy and not fun. I think they over commit and int a little, lose a little cause it's more fun. It is supposed to be a game after all.
Idk I really doubt that. Even if faker is bored, the rest of the team are under a lot of pressure to perform
True, they limit testing most of the time. And cos of ddos, i think now every match is treated as their "training field". So losing is not their main problem, as long as there always something to learn.
did faker really say that? since faker is known to be so humble that he doesnt say things like that
@@jao704he said boring cause his team did most of the thing for that game .. he didn’t do much and they won 😂
m.th-cam.com/video/qEIdFfbJC-E/w-d-xo.html&pp=iAQB
13:10 in that video and also later he said no fun again... for Sylas because he didn't want them to get on to him again haha. I prefer when they don't tryhard to the point of meltdown and just play around. It makes the games fun. Gen G for instance is very skilled but I don't like watching them because it's boring. JDG was the same on their run. It's why I prefer minor league baseball even to major league. The mistakes and risks make it interesting. If the game is perfect we might as well watch AI play each other
Im convinced they draw straws on whos going to carry per game, thats why they rotate whos playing a carry champion in the game and explains why guma keeps playing senna
He actually played ten different champs at ewc. Just played fearless mode lol
@cloudsidky I love the fearless draft. Been suggesting a format like it since I discovered league esports lol
One of the main reasons why I enjoyed and respect Faker, because people kept speaking on his champ pool range even from way back then.
Ah yes the classic int lane but win teamfight 1
Yah they really do be making it hard on themselves sometimes
It feels like they need some time to adapt for the team they're fighting against. It makes sense to me.
It feels like they play very very differently, not just learning and adapting you know
They've been pretty good at the start of the year though, moving like a unit all over the rift. But then the DDOS hit them and they became very inconsistent; it's almost like they're lost and have no idea most of the times on what to draft. Sometimes, they don't even know where to go in the map. Most of the players in this roster have always been emotional players (esp. their "top performing" players like Zeus and Keria), so when the DDOS hit them, it hit their mental and confidence level, which affected how they play the game. They can't stream too, and these players have expressed numerous times in their streams about how streaming makes them de-stress and relax; but now, that avenue for relief is gone for them. Really seems to me that this is just mostly a mental problem for the players.
On another note, their coinflippiness does make their games so incredibly fun to watch (whether they win dominantly or lose miserably) because you'll never know which T1 will appear until a nexus explodes. That this team is so nonsensical makes them so dangerous.
Yah even in a series you don't know is it t1 or T1. Even against tes we saw both lol
Classic T1
Ikr
They just have fun until they realize they have to win for money
Maybe so lol
it's simple really, just take 5 player of the most mechanically talented players and just hope one of them will carry the fight every game
Looool
Faker is like Jeijuro Akashi. He's good leader but.. i hope one day (cuz im starting to belive it) Faker will switch face's jist like Akashi. And play like young 10 years ago himself. That would be goosebumps to watch. I hope going Worlds 24 will be epic to watch.
Idk who akashi is but that sounds dope
T1 just better in International competition, meanwhile GenG gets bent over by another LPL team
I mean t1 lost twice to blg at msi and geng beat them twice and best tes as well
Nah, this is perfectly normal for T1. You know what really doesn't make swnse? That is "why tf are they always losing to Chovy's GenG?" That's really bullshit to me beacuse they can destroy everybody else quite easily. And no, i'm not a hater. I'm a fan of T1
Not really. Think about last summer for example. Even after faker came back, no one thought they'd beat kt and actually make worlds. MSI this year they looked shaky then bam 3-0 g2. This split they look shaky and lose to kt and then bam oner is jungle God and they can't lose a game even down 5k gold. Something is just weird with this team man
I've come to the conclusion that GenG's playstyle just counters T1 so hard. Like T1 always gambles and tries baiting teams to making mistakes (Faker inting or is he?) and when you go for the bait, they will try to out teamfight you.
But GenG's playstyle for me feels very calculated. Like they try to avoid mistakes so much and will only pick fights if they know they can win them. And I mean no one can stop them from doing that with how good Chovy and Kiin is in lane. Like they can afford to wait until they are ready because they know their laners will hit their powerspike at the time they wanna take fights. Just my observation.
@@cloudsidky well yeah. Now you mention it. Maybe they can actually beat GenG this time. All i wamt is another win against GenG in a BO5 and my life will be complete.
@@nguyen.tien.phat1310me too 😂, but spring 24 is close series againts genG. At least is not 3:0, so maybe this summer they can do better than spring? 😅 well lets all just hope for the best for T1 ❤
@@Viepivot yeah it was closer than i thought. Hell, i even had hope for a 3-1 back then. But well, t1 will always be t1 lol. Hope they can make a difference this summer. Seeing GenG win all the time is getting boring to me
i feel bad for GenG 🤣
😂
You make no sense lmao
Lol
Bros tryna get that clout and views from the clickbait title
What clout and views.... 😂
WYM? Fans of this iteration of this T1 team says this statement every time they play. Have you seen their last game against BRO?
Hell, I love this team and I keep asking what is wrong with this team! xD Why do they insist on playing pro games like it solo queue?! xD
Imo you are just angry geng fan if that team makes no sense to you
@@siel5622 no I'm not angry at all lol. And I'm not a geng fan either 😂
T1: get 2nd, get 3rd at msi, flop then rise a bit back to 2nd in summer, win worlds..... if gen g never existed t1 would dominate lck but atleast we got the Lpl to take down geng at worlds XD
Exactly my point. They always finish strong despite sometimes looking completely lost during the journey. Really incredible
@@cloudsidky yeah and thats why i have faith XD as a t1 fan since 2013 i always had the mindset of perfection but now looking at this team I just know they will showup at worlds XD and falter here and there during the season
T1 cant play meta champ. Lane swaps fvks zeus. Oner cant play mage carry champion. Faker likes to int sometimes. Sometimes he doesn't respect enemy. Gumas a bit shaky. Limited champion that he can play to the fullest The only champ he can play consistent is xayah. Keria thinks ashe is still Op.
Plus the draft. You can tell in the draft that they will lose. I dont know they always want to have fun game fun game. Limit testing and sometimes they lose miserable.
Idk man. They've gotten stomped with the same drafts in lck and then they go on to crush tes with it. They def are inconsistent but they sure as hell show up when it matters the most
Guma is shaky? He is the best player on T1 lol. He just fearless drafted the entire EWC. Played 10 different champions in 10 games
what an L take, Guma and Kerie was said to be the most champion pool duo bot lane and Gumayusi is arguably the #1 adc right now with his consistency and right angles + plus his objective steals are any enemy jungler's nightmare
@@chrissears5482 A bit. Yes he played 10 champs but for me xayah are the one he stands out. He's a walking ward on ez. Not a geng fan but peyz plays better than him on zeri , ez , kalista .
Honestly as consistent as he is, guma carries only on "his" champions. His ez def looks like his weak point. Dont get me wrong tho, he still very good and probably better than 99.9% of us😅
