Most things mentioned I knew, but that one where Faker goes Zhonya to avoid Akali's R2 is an incredible find. With all the skill particles from all those champs, Faker couldn't have seen Akali's R2, the only way is prediction.
I was thinking that exact same thing. He probably saw Akali use R1 earlier as well and probably guessed that Akali would R2 him the moment he came within range and Zhonyaed.
Yeah, and he had flash, and he ate the whole Rumble fire (which means the Zonya's wasn't to avoid Rumble, or panic use), he deliberately wanted to bait Akali, and predicted the timing. His calmness and movement, and sense... Pure insanity

@@chaithao1452tbf the final was completely unbalanced. Guma & Keria, being absolute demons, didn't even have to do much in the finals, heck, Guma didn't even die, but because of how much everyone knew Toplane meant in the series, Zeus stepped up & Oner mostly pathed top to gank TheShy. The only role Faker had was to deny Mid push, which he did fairly well, and he got to have some fun on Akali in the final game. He may not have fully 1v9'd the final, but there wasn't a need to. All he had to do was keep even, shotcall for the team, and they got to waltz away the World champions. Faker still did it for his team, against the best midlaner the LPL has ever produced, with the 2nd most international games only behind Faker himself, so I still say he did it for his team, even if it's no longer in his 1v9 pure dominance mode from a decade ago

I was blown away by Faker and Oner plays for sure. But that one just hit differently because it comes from experience and trusting your gut, and being willing to trust it. So cool.
There is a reason why t1 is the most favorite, and likeable team in league. Faker never fails to impress his funs and excite every game he participates in. 2:18 I also want to point out Gumayusi's excellent read and teamplay here He could've flashed right after Knight flashing through and secured himself a safe position away from MISSING and Knight but he baited himself to make Knight focus on him instead of getting Oner targeted + setting Oner up for a W knock up if Knight continued chasing. Then instead of greeding his W, he waited out until Knight ran in a predictable path and combo'ed it with Oner's Q while still keeping close attention to MISSING's movement and read his WQ precisely. And shortly after that, we could see, once again, Gumayusi's patience waiting out Knight's W, juggling at Akali's max Q distance on shroud's edge to bait Knight into revealing himself (Gumayusi also placed a trap into the bush in case Knight tried to be sneaky but there was a ward inside the bush so I couldn't tell if it was a genius move or he just kinda winged it)
@@AtumassadoCompaoIf my guess is correct, MISSING forgot to account for Bard's E versatile use so he was trying to wrap around and pressure Guma into Knight but since Keria repositioned 2 T1 members onto the other side, MISSING couldn't decide if he should commit and pick Oner or wrap around and try to pressure Guma into Knight again. In the end, he had to burn flash into Guma or else he would've allowed Guma to freely deal damage on his team from a safe distance. And there are 2 reasons why I think MISSING gave up the chase. One is that he burned all his abilities as you can see him running around with Phase Rush, that'd also explain Faker's decision to insta tp near MISSING. Second is that the fight was favoring JDG a lot. If that Bard portal wasn't in the equation then they would've gotten Oner and protected Ruler from Faker. Unfortunately, as you can see, Bard is such an alien concept in the pro scene that they didn't expect Keria to split the team fight like that and put MISSING on a dilemma, hell, they even made Kannavi and Ruler accidentally clicked on the portal, that should be a clear sign that they weren't used to fighting against a Bard and Keria abused that to his advantage.
@@AtumassadoCompao If you watch the picture-in-picture at the bottom right you can see Alistar combo onto Orianna and ignite her. You are right he could have saved combo but also he is walking into river blind, he wouldn't be able to see Faker's TP if it wasn't for them already fighting and using ignite which gives true sight.

It was definitely not a missed click. you cannot miss-click that far. The other fruits were on the other direction, and ruler purposely came directly into the portal.

If I am not mistaken, there was one more play that many people have missed, same as the one Bard caught Azir last game, but it was on Zeri, should be earlier if I didn’t remember wrongly. Zeri wanted to clear the huge wave on top lane so he E over the huge wall; then maybe Bard or anyone on T1 saw it, Bard chased and ulted to catch Zeri
what makes me convident for T1 to win the finals this year is that unlike last year every single one of them is stepping up when they have to, such a pleasure to watch
3:05 I just want to add a bit more to how insanely well executed this engage was. Both Knight and Ruler have flash up - but watch the CC timer on ruler/knight, as soon as rell knockup ends faker's emp divide follows up on PERFECT TIMING. A perfectly timed cc chain in an insanely difficult to execute situation. True mastery not from one player, but from a group of players working together as one entity. Hail T1

mate this was awesome to watch, I saw the game but seeing you slow shit down and explain things play by play gives me the same feeling again, awesome vid.
The Oner engage was pretty insane but it was kind of a flip. Like both of the carries he jumped on had flash and if they reacted fast enough or if faker was a little later and didn't layer the cc that play gets oner killed and they lose dragon. I feel the main reason it worked was the classic walk away flash towards. You feel like your gaining momentum in a moment and the next the enemy champ says "react". That type of thing is reactable but it is hard and in the moment was very unexpected.
1 Crucial mistake in your logic here unfortunately. It's perfect because if they flash Rell combo, then Azir just counter flashes + Ult and still gets both of them. Azir might die for it, but the result is still the same.
@@Whales1992 Yeah maybe. Idk if Missing flashes down towards dragon and Knight goes up Fakers either gets just gets knight or gets 2 with missing and kanavi. That being said I dont know if kanavi had ult at that point so pusing a wukong into a team that already used most of their cc while caries hit might not go well. If he went for knight I think they lose harder because of wukong ult and varus getting to hit. Either way I still think its a risky play.

Honestly I am a JDG fan and was thinking the would win worlds and complete the golden road.. but the way T1 played this day was just unreal. Their peak is almost unplayable against.
And even then, Faker still had flash and held it xD
Literally balls of steel here.
Yes and also dodging rumble e as well, that whole teamfight could have gone bad
Yeah, and he had flash, and he ate the whole Rumble fire (which means the Zonya's wasn't to avoid Rumble, or panic use), he deliberately wanted to bait Akali, and predicted the timing. His calmness and movement, and sense... Pure insanity
probably because he’s familiar with akali techniques, R2ing away for an escape after zhonya’s is pretty intuitive
This really should've been the Final, even the narratives are perfect with The Golden Road and Faker's return.
I was going crazy how good their plays were. Thank you for breaking them down even further
I dont think I have seen a team as good as this iteration of T1, each one of the players if allowed to get ahead can carry and each one of them can make a difference and influence a play of the game.
2015-2016 SKT was arguably better. If u said this 2022 when they went undefeated and almost won worlds yea but if u look at this entire year they havent been that great but theyre really showing up now. 2015 SKT was 17-1 and won worlds and were MSI finalists (lost to EDG).
Nothing can top the macro of 2014 SSW.
This team is way more composed now. Now getting ahead of themselves and playing slowly. No matter how much they get pressured, they realize they only need a window.
@@ot1346I mean if you look at how they played back in 2015-2016, it’s nowhere near how the game is now lol. LCK now is leagues ahead of what it was in the past.
@@moisesquerido-delasalas9087 I mean obviously they are gonna be better today than 8 years ago. I meant it relatively obviously, or else there’d be no point to ever say that a certain team is the best iteration, as it would almost always be the most recent team since ppl are always getting better.
Oner’s flash arrow engage, Guma’s 1v2 and Faker’s shuffle on ruler are 3 of the best plays ever I’ve seen in Worlds. As the caster say, they’re too damn clean.🔥
We do it in ranked too. No difference. Pro plays and Solo Queue doesnt change the speed dynamic of Ashe's Ult so not a big surprise.

@@nguyen.tien.phat1310 Thats why we record them.
@@chaithao1452 yeah, then what? Upload it on YT to get few thounsand views?
I'm not saying it's impossible to do in soloQ. What i mean is that's those plays are special beacuse they did it on stage, in a high stake match, against world class enemies and infront of big audiences.
@@nguyen.tien.phat1310 Yep, same here.
watching the live give me hype, but watching the analyst give me chills on how good both of them are play the game, amazingly different dimension with my gameplay.
For me the amazing part is that in one series you can point out a hell of a play from all 5 T1 players. JDG was gapped on every role (slightly, but still).
THAT GUMA’S 2vs1 WAS PURE MECHANICS
Don't need scripts if they're baked into your brain
ad gap
I can hear Guma's APM keyboard from my speaker
I love how faker perfectly layered his cc after oner’s engage in dragon pit
beautiful macro, beautiful synergy, beautiful teamfighting, beautiful t1. im so excited for this worlds to see what t1 has in store to close off this year and will be cheering them on whole heartedly for this legendary 10 year anniversary run. but in the end, 웨이보 게이밍은 어떻게 강팀이 되었나
T1 honestly played out of their mind this series, even more so than other years and it's nice you showcased these immaculate plays like this.
These matches were absolute madness.
2:38 It's worth noting here how Insane Oner is in playing the fog provided by that bush, Going in and out after every abilities so that Missing couldn't use his W+Q on him and also Faker's crucial spacing not allowing Alistar to even get in range to combo and of course Guma is just Guma.
Amazing job Dobby!
You made them justice by showing their amazing level of individual play and collective plays.
Very well made! (Like all of your content!)
Thank you !!
OMG Dobby your analysis is insane and smart, we need more youtubers like you !
Thank you !
Everyone says Faker is the star, but his team is very clutch as well and deserve similar attention!! They aren't showing any weaknesses. It's a joy to watch, they are very well coordinated.
In the finals he said that he was going to do it for his team but it felt more like it was Zeus and Oner who did it for him.
@@chaithao1452 come on now dawg, JDG vs T1 was the real finals and you know how Faker carried that.
@@Awacadooo Oner got tire of Fakers fuk up BS. When the team is winning or Faker gets fed, then he begins to troll and win-trade. Oners only chance is Zeus. Zeus is less of a troll than Faker.
I love watching stuff from worlds. Everytime something happens, the crowd screams give me shivers, it has to be awesome being there to watch the games.
T1 was absolutely insane, if they play like this in the finals I'm sure they'll win.
sensation!!!!!Koreans will win again! game is not dead
and they did :)
Brah they won; however, it felt as if JDG was better than WBG.
I really appreciate such a nicely edited commentary on eSports events. I've rewatched this 2 times already, can't get enough. As a game design graduate, I don't think anyone I know could've done a better job. :) Keep them coming!
I believe ruler wasn’t trying to chase keria, he was picking up the honey fruits and accidentally went through the portal 😅😅
I believe the same thing happened to Kanavi he clicked Keira when he opened the portal and accidentally went through (i.e. clicked something that was on top of the portal)
Thats actually a legit bard tactic where you magical journey the moment they attack you
@@juansaldana7976 nah, he Q to chase right at the time keria open portal so he get into it too =))
i do too
@@Odino3107 I stand corrected
So many mechanical and decisive plays but honestly, Zeus' pick on Ruler when he was backing is the one that made have to rewatch again and watch his pathing to see when and how he made that decision. I was blown away by Faker and Oner plays for sure. But that one just hit differently because it comes from experience and trusting your gut, and being willing to trust it. So cool.
This breakdown made me appreciate the match so much more.
4:40 fight has so much happening. It's actually insane how many details you can miss without rewatching the fight in slowmotion
and people even miss the voice of azir , he really said : "Trust in me" and it happens.
Oner and Faker are perfectly sync, they are two persons with a single mind
Just like faker + Bengi combo that won them worlds title. I hope Oner stays long term because the synergy is on point.
You know what? Few years ago, Faker and Bengi played as their breath sync together too. Nowadays lucky we are when still can see it at OF instead.
The play you missed was at 2:37 where Oner pops in and out of bush, immobilising alistar while staying hidden from his combo
1:19 every time Faker’s Azir ult didn’t push anyone, it serves a different purpose.
true, except that herald incident lol
@@m.rak804Yeah... we don't talk about that 😭
There is a reason why t1 is the most favorite, and likeable team in league. Faker never fails to impress his funs and excite every game he participates in. T1 basically carries the esports in lol, in my opinion, and faker is 50% (or more) of the reason why. Great plays. Credit to the guy that made the montage😊
Oh, you mean the "Eeeeeeeeeeee" when Mr. Hide in bush use Aurelion Sol right:)))))
I watched this live here in California so it was like 3 or 4am and I honestly felt like I was hallucinating. Amazing crazy plays.
Wow. THIS is worlds content we deperatly NEED.

THANK YOU KEEP UP THE COMPETITIVE SCENE VIDEOS
thank you for these! LoLEsports used to have teamfight breakdowns like these, and i'm pretty sad that they stopped doing that but here you are bringing it back
The Oner + Faker dragon fight combo was sick
Not at all. We do it in ranked too. No difference. Pro plays and Solo Queue doesnt change the speed dynamic of Ashe's Ult so not a big surprise. You just need another teammate who can communicate with you to do what Oner and Faker did. Nothing new. The flash over Ashe's Ult wasnt a surprise.
@@chaithao1452only in rank 😂😂😂
T1 comming back for the World Cup after like 7years.. entirely deserved for the whole team who played very very nice. They shown they are the LPL killers. Hope they win the finals because its not done yet but they deserve this 4th star ❤❤❤
I believe we can use another suitable word for it, LPL slayer as it was more joyable, right dude:))) 😂
Killers were rarely used on good side, but slayers were only used for Heroes who challenged and defeated great monsters, like T1 stand out to stop LPL from winning:)))
I love your videos on individual great players and OTPs, but this one, analyzing step by step as you do, esports matches, in this case worlds, was gold. Amazing video!
2:18 I also want to point out Gumayusi's excellent read and teamplay here
He could've flashed right after Knight flashing through and secured himself a safe position away from MISSING and Knight but he baited himself to make Knight focus on him instead of getting Oner targeted + setting Oner up for a W knock up if Knight continued chasing. Then instead of greeding his W, he waited out until Knight ran in a predictable path and combo'ed it with Oner's Q while still keeping close attention to MISSING's movement and read his WQ precisely.
And shortly after that, we could see, once again, Gumayusi's patience waiting out Knight's W, juggling at Akali's max Q distance on shroud's edge to bait Knight into revealing himself (Gumayusi also placed a trap into the bush in case Knight tried to be sneaky but there was a ward inside the bush so I couldn't tell if it was a genius move or he just kinda winged it)
I find it weird why fidnt alistar stop faker tp, he had vision from ignite, but decided not to chase, would like to know if it was on cd or not
@@AtumassadoCompaoIf my guess is correct, MISSING forgot to account for Bard's E versatile use so he was trying to wrap around and pressure Guma into Knight but since Keria repositioned 2 T1 members onto the other side, MISSING couldn't decide if he should commit and pick Oner or wrap around and try to pressure Guma into Knight again.
@@YuYuYuna_ That is true, I think the way I saw it is depending on the cd's he had on the combo, since Q and W can both interrupt, nice makes sense what you said yes :)
Thanks for editing in the english shotcasting. Dobby chan on top!
Thank you !
1:43 Ruler didn't chase, it was 100% a missclick from him (he was trying to pick up the fruit). However, JDG decided to turn that mistake into a play, so good thinking there, even though in the end, they lost that fight 'cause Oner and Faker decided to smurf that heck out of them.
It was definitely not a missed click. you cannot miss-click that far. The other fruits were on the other direction, and ruler purposely came directly into the portal.
@@thanhnguyenviet3382I dunno, Ruler said after that he was misclicked, you can check it out. Having all the fame and honor with him, I don't think that Ruler lied. It just doesn't worth it
@@thanhnguyenviet3382 Yes you literally can. Literally go into practice tool and position your camera above that wall. Ruler himself said it was a miss click. Stop putting pro players on pedestals acting like they never make mistakes and especially in high stakes matches like the semi finals of Worlds.
Great editing, clear analysis, and multiple replays is very nice. Keep up the good work!
That Faker's Orianna kiting Rumble and then hourglass Akali r2 perfectly was nice breakdown, didnt even realize that.
Faker playmaker, The absolute goat
Actually this game was the final.JDG is a really strong team.
This review is what im looking for months. Thanks mate 😁
The last part, I thought that Orianna ult was a misclick when I was watching it live. I didn't realize that Faker was in range, and just dodged it by mere pixels. Insane reactions.
goat always clutches
If I am not mistaken, there was one more play that many people have missed, same as the one Bard caught Azir last game, but it was on Zeri, should be earlier if I didn’t remember wrongly. Zeri wanted to clear the huge wave on top lane so he E over the huge wall; then maybe Bard or anyone on T1 saw it, Bard chased and ulted to catch Zeri
Bro... your analysis are damn too good. I like how easily you explain things for us noobs.
Crazy to think that T1 almost didn't qualify for worlds this year.
Wasn't it because Faker was injured and had to be replaced for some months ? And they got like 22% winrate when he wasnt there
This vid gives me goosebumps man
1:45 actually Ruler was trying to eat the healing plants, which lead to the missclick tho
this felt like it was already the grand final.. insane performance from both team
That ult from fake to prevent the steal is insane. Saw it live and kept wondering why kanavi didn't head in and side stepped
Thanks for the analysis and taking the time!
what makes me convident for T1 to win the finals this year is that unlike last year every single one of them is stepping up when they have to, such a pleasure to watch
Faker angle on his ult is perfect Ruler is trap between his soldiers what an absolute genius
Hail T1
me comes back here again for some quite of time just to feel good, still feels amazing.
4:08 Faker probably saw arcane comet coming from behind and predicted rumble E
I thought rumble ult gave away his vision
He did it again in T1 vs GenG game 2 🔥
Oner played like a literal jungler, his wild instinct was top notch
Omg what an excellent video!! I was missing so many plays by t1, thx you so much for this video!!!
Thank you too !
4:17 and 5:49 are insane. I knew they Zhonya'd in those moments, but I didn't realize that they were timed so perfectly
Thank you dobby by showing and explaining every pro moves that lead to win team fights🔥
Pro league is on another level. The reflexes they have while keeping an eye on ally and enemy positions and every missplay that can lead to failiure. Insane gameplay
4:40 "You are good enough to sense me coming, Ruler, and you will Flash away from me the moment I dive to you. And because I know you will Flash back to get away from me I will pre-emptively Flash forward and use my ult from further behind. *I have faith in you to have faith in me.* " - A Korean internet meme in response to this move
"He (Ruler) got caught because he was too good. Other ADCs wouldn't have used Flash because they wouldn't have had never seen him coming in the first place." - CVMax
Not to mention the fact that this game featured 5 out of 6 players (three on T1, two on JDG) from the Korean National Team back in September this year. Watching it was quite an experience.
and it even become more unreal when azir really said : " Trust in me !!! ". It matches the situation perfectly.
and Lol Dobby this is a masterpiece catching all the insane plays I did not see. Wp and subbed. God bless you.
what a good match, keria's bard antimeta working even better than meta picks, faker orianna and the azir engage predicting flash, guma 1v2, Oner flashing ashe arrow + engage with Rell and smiting really well during the entire series, korea kicking ass to the #1 LPL with 2 imported Koreans
THIS IS SUCH A WELL-MADE VIDEO WHAT THANKYOU FOR SHARING THIS!!
mate this was awesome to watch, I saw the game but seeing you slow shit down and explain things play by play gives me the same feeling again, awesome vid.
that oner engage is gorgeous, so beautiful
Thank you nice comments on each play, I really did enjoy this video. 😎
Oner’s engage + arrow dodge was a truly beauty to witness, live.
I like breakdown videos like this. now in my arthritis and delirium years, it's hard to catch up but I absolutely appreciate pro plays
I can’t even explain enough how masterful that Faker Azir play was, you even appreciate it much more as an Azir player how clean he makes plays with him. Absolutely beautiful.
