people say that he sang it too fast, but I think it was brilliant. I am a big Tolkien fan, but in the hobbit, they sing the song in sadness (obvs) and the way that Tay sung it made the tension rise.

PhoenixClone101 Actually, at very start, this guy sings it a semitone lower than Thorin did in the film, but then he jumps up an octave. The lowest note in the original is a D2, this guy is getting down to a Db2 at the start. But the actor who play Thorin could probably get down there too.
