thanks, now i know enough about the game i won't need to watch more videos. i appreciate your hard work and effort! i won't be buying this game as i've no hardware capable of handling it. but i loved the anime and wanted to see some gameplay.
according to Steam and Bandai Namco EU's game website, it is coming out Jan 24, 2025. the anime started its two seasons run in July 2023. a two year + game development cycle? and it is this 'bad' ?
@okamaman7324 by timing alone they're doing it wrong. the website and the basic overall idea, the first few trailers that came out, then the anime coming out... now there's a playable beta out there. honestly this is a terrible terrible! development cycle. and with a development cycle thiiiis loooong? and the public testing product is just this bad? no I'm sorry there is not enough out there to convince me in any way that this game is going to succeed.

"The dumbest thing you can do on game dev is start out your dev with "good graphics" " ok. i may not be a specialist in game programming... but i understand how computer programming works in general... and i'm slightly familiar with how computer animation works... what you said, 'starting with good graphics' makes ZERO sense. NOBODY starts at the finished end of a product's development schedule and works BACKWARDS to day 1... with project planning, scheduling, team assignments, writing workshops for scenarios etc. 'the starting point'. maybe do a better job explaining yourself in the future?

Op's video is not the " public testing product" Rather, the CBT. (C here means closed- is not for wider public.) I would REALLY recommend you check out the newer ONT. As for "development cycle thiiiis loooong?" Not sure you took this from, this game did not have an unusual dev time. Finally, regarding my first comment : The dumbest thing you can do on game dev is start out your dev with "good graphics" I was referring solely to the graphic fidelity.
They're called cradlecoffins in the anime and the cradle is the cockpit and the coffin is where the magus sits. I hope they release some PVE modes for this game im so bummed about thr forced PVP. I got exoprimal on launch hoping the PVPVE wasnt that bad and ended up dropping it in like a few days
Dude i wish they have more than 2 faction, like a third one which focuses on PKK with the quest to combat the second faction. Like a rock paper scissor type of thing, where the pve faction gets hunted by the pk faction, the pkk faction hunts the pk faction and the pkk faction gets backstabbed by the pve faction lol Also i wish the TTK is higher. Its a mecha, not a human. Shoot down their limbs to make tge fight easier but give the weaker mechs some fighting chance (limping mech)
The idea I had was have different drifter dens like in the anime, one PVP only den, one PVPVE den, and one PVE only den where you sortie with teammates against enders
