Hi, I just bought a few days ago the same System on eBay. I´ve received it today and I´ve got the same probleme. I realy can not beleave it, that it no works. Has the Bose HDMI an ARC? Do you know that?

I don’t know, ARC was introduced in 2009 - not sure when your unit was produced - I would return it while you can as item not described if they said the HDMI works

I bought it used and spend just 50 $, so that´s okay and the sound is just amazing and a lot of bass. Now I ordered an AV to HDMI Converter. Will in a few days know, if it works ;) I´ll let you know.

Cheers that's a good price - yeah the speakers are great with the sub- you can get an optical cable and run it to the unit for sound from the TV@@mcsascsu
