I’ve got 3 squads of infiltrators, 3 squads of eliminators, 4 squads of intercessors, 3 squads of terminators, 5 dreadnoughts, and 3 squads of infernus marines I still have to paint Don’t really have the motivation to paint stuff I won’t use most of the time.
Watching your TH-cam vids has really gotten me back into painting my old Ravenwing army, now recently updated with a kitbash Sammael and Talonmaster. plus a Storm Raven and Storm Hawk and more Landspeeders (the Vengeance one, cause GW had to stop making the typhoon). Anyway love your content and I'll do what I can to catch your streams on here (probably will be working when you stream, but somebody has to fuel my pile of shame and my never ending addiction of fast attack models)
Now that its almost finished I have finally cracked into my Warhammer imperium magazine collection, so i got like 60+ of those to do, finish up the space marine half of the 9th ed indomitus box, about 20 catachans that are 90% done (on the painting desk now) and about 20 scions that need trim, touchup.
I saw this in my recommendations, and thought, "oh I will feel so much better about two bins of team Yankee/ flames of war that I haven't touched in a year, a bin of Battletech and bolt action stuff I haven't looked at in months, and the massive bin, storage shelf, and floor pile, of Warhammer that I add to faster than I finish models" Nope, much less insane than my pile of plastic crap. I will now continue painting the Cities of Sigmar box that I will probably get half way through and not finish IN TEARS 😭
Honestly not as bad as mine... I also added 2 Leviathan boxes to my collection... And TWO Chainbreaker Lances... AND TWO Watchers of the Gate... and two Verminous Host... and a bunch of other things we're not going to go into right now... Like a huge used lot of T'au. You're right, it's a decision to build a horde.
If you're really wanting to play all that heresy stuff you could proxy them as primaris variants, I've used leviathans as different forms of primaris dreads namely brutalis and redemptors in a GW tournament and it was OK'd
Tactical squads make good Intercessors (cover one in grenades for grenade launcher, and just have him throw them), Tactical SUPPORT squads can be kitted out with all flamers (Infernus Marines) or all Plasma guns (Hellblasters), Heavy Support squads with missile launchers are Devastators… future-proofed 40k rules :) those units’ rules definitely aren’t going anywhere
I started in early 22, so far have 5 armies over 2k, only 2 on the tabletop with a 3rd almost there... the final 2 in glorious grey plastic resting in my pile of opportunities 😅 naturally 1 almost finished and 2 others only capable of finally leaving my house to play with but actually slowed down buying stuff to go out and play
After picking up the hobby in May, buying a 9th edition 2k army, painting, hating admech in the start of 10. Buying a full 2k+ Dark Angels army and counting after that… knowing others years long pile of shame is large makes me feel better
Why I needed 3 Tyberoses, Tyberi..... well it was supposed to be 2 Tyberos's a singular kitbash and the big one but the donor kit I got had mold issues so they sent me another one and now I have 3.
So what your telling me is that, following the Rule of 3, you can have a Three Shark Night going on here. Big Tyberos, Medium Tyberos, and Small Tyberos, all with their own individual keywords and rules because GW likes to make different rule sheets for different versions of a character (like Captain Tycho)... Nice.
Don't care if people wanna play or paint warhammer and 3d printing is the only way to go, go for it. Just understand you can't play at a gw store and if your entire army is 3d printed even some lgs may not let you play. But I have a few 3d prints and 3rd party minis I have painted they are awesome.
thats not a pile of shame at all , i have been in the game 30 years my pile is 8ft tall 4 ft wide 2 1/2 foot deep ,warbringer titian in there some place 4-5 other titians ect
I don’t understand why, Why not sell some of it? Since you’re never gonna’ paint all of it, sell the stuff that’s not exclusive/ time orientated and if you really want them at a later date then you can pick them up again(when you know they will get painted/ played with) Also you should try and keep the amount of models you own that are painted always above the amount you need to paint, these are the two things I’ve started doing to make sure I don’t have a pile of shame and have control over the hobby There’s a lot of discipline in it as you do have to stop yourself making snap decision purchases Another useful tip is limiting your hobbying budget, so like, one new model/ box a month or two, makes you think more about how much you truly want something
You don't have a pile of shame. You have a throne of shame
I have a simple solution to half your pile of shame. Step 1 get married, step 2 get divorced you would legally owe them half your stuff.
I suppose you could also rent a woodchipper
We have 5 needs and infinite wants.
my weird addiction: hoarding plastic miniatures
You forgot resin, don't forget the resin
THE LIGHTS. That's sick, the imperial knights look great. A lot of good building going on.
My Pile of Shame(TM) is comprised of the Leviathan box set, a Contemptor Dreadnought, and the 8th edition "start painting" set with Primaris marines.
my buddy used to have huge piles of shame, while I burned through my models when we were painting together. now I'm just doing his stuff for him :D
wow that is nice, I need you as my friend as well :D

lad boil a kettle and put the noodles into a bowel, fill it then cover the head of the bowel with a small dish and wait 5 mins.
This just makes me wonder what job you have in order to afford so much resin
I am one of those rare people that tries to paint 95%+ of what i own before i get new shit
That was me when I started, and oh boy, did that spiral out of control...

Handi preachin the chainbreaker lance 😂 (he is not wrong)
Play Horus heresy. None of those dreads are legends. The contemptor is very powerful

0:00 What is that *'The LION'* Book (?) behind all tha Models (?) Is that a Codex, Novel (?)
The novel Lion Son of The Forest
You are an incredible painter I would think painting models would give you more joy than just buying them!
I do its just having so much stuff. I run into the problem of what to paint and how am I going to paint it.
Bro jeez I want even. 5th of this

homie out here telling people being poor is a choice, like i don't know i have no impulse control lol
Hello fellow addicted time for the yearly aa meeting
phenomenal work
That is actually a ton of minis you finished last year. Especially considering how much detail you put into them.
We shall see next month which is when I was supposed to post the video instead of in september

Pile of opportunity...opera tune ah tea
Algorithm did a great job this time around. Instant subscribe and follow.
👍👍👍

May i ask why you decided you needed 3 tyburoes? Tyburo's? I dont know....

@@Handi_Crafts as a guy who made a Custodes army that is literally mostly shooting I gotta say big recommend funniest shit out there

How much ?
Not or sale, ITS MINE
Yo who here has been here since leviathan handi
Why don’t you just sell the miniatures that you don’t want?
Slowly doing that, some are just harder to move than others.
That's not a very big pile 😅 Though I see none of those models were based yet
