I have a few ways I let myself get in my own way. both from avoiding writing music because I'm worried it'll be bad and avoiding applying for jobs out of fear of transphobia. I've stood up to plenty of people, and while I should try to minimize the hate I receive, that doesn't mean I should avoid getting a job in general. thank you for making this video, it really lifted me up.

You are the push that made me move to level up with ocarina. Learned hard for a year or so... Now learning even harder because of you. Love from France, man ❤

Aww, Andy, you're an amazing person and you really try hard at anything that you do! I can definitely relate to multiple points you bring up here. Although I'm really smart when it comes to certain things, I essentially self-sabotaged myself in school because I didn't try hard enough. I hated school and so I just did enough to get by. But when it comes to anything that relates to electronics, it piques my interest and I'm willing to learn about how to repair and think outside the box when it comes to doing things with them. Heck, I remember back in the very early 2000s when I used a cassette deck and VCR to record music from cassette tapes to digital format because of the limited things I had. So, when it came to stuff like that, I really applied myself. I even failed a few classes in high school but again, I just don't think I tried hard enough. When the subject wasn't interesting to me, I just brushed it off. Sometimes now I wish I hadn't done that. And then the point when it comes to weight loss. I'm in that same boat and can totally relate!! It's so easy to sabotage yourself especially when you're feeling low for any reason. Been there, done that myself! I'm still trying to catch up on your earlier videos, but I've seen your thumbnails and I can definitely tell you have lost weight and for that I must say I'm proud of you and congratulations! You know what you want, and you go after it, Andy. Even if it takes a little longer, it's a marathon, not a sprint. Keep up the awesome work, my friend!

I explained it poorly lol, the same way “if I try hard and don’t succeed then maybe I’m not as smart as I thought,” it’s also “if I try hard and DO succeed, and it has nothing to do with my intelligence, then maybe I’m not as smart as I thought”
