    Hi! Is the LL case applied to all slabs simultaniusly? Or the SAFE automaticly takes LL for each slab "in separate load case"? For example to create envelope of bending moments. If SAFE doesn't do that, can you show us how to create such an analysis (with LL put on separate slab spans). Thanks

    Suppose my building is in High seismic zone then also I have to design slab only for DL & LL. ?
    If not then how to apply seismic load in SAFE for the slab design.

    what about the seismic forces sir? do we need to include it ?

    Thanks a bunch for the tutorial.How do we then design a cantilever slab in safe?

    • @civilmdc
      @civilmdc  5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      For that, dear, you have to select the one edge of slab and assign it ....point fixed restraint.. then cantilever slab will be drawn ... if you will unable please let me know...

    If it is a Multistorey building then? let's say G+10 then for slab design
    do we have to model complete building or only one floor ???

    • @civilmdc
      @civilmdc  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Each floor separately will be model... Or you can import from etabs... (if each floor is different)

    • @civilmdc
      @civilmdc  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      One floor... If.... All floor are same...

    • @sirajudheench2445

      @@civilmdc Jazakallahu khair. That means if all the floors beams and columns are same then we have to do slab design only once. Provided loading on the slab is same. Am I right ?

    u didnt respect the local axis while drawing, its very important.

    • @civilmdc
      @civilmdc  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes you are right... M11,, m22 m12 etc
      W.r.t local Axis is important.
      We must have to incorporate w.r.t them.
