The height of Square's greatness. They were innovating at every level and at all game types. All they did was churn out S-level original IP's, many which they have never revisited again. Nothing comes close to what they did in the 90s.

I was never able to find this game again after this and I was searching for years. This was 22 years ago! Here I am 22 years later sitting in bed and for whatever reason the sentence “what was that ps1 game called?” Pops into my head randomly. I stumble upon this video and relive this game 22 years later

I suppose Einehander is a more rarified game, it didn’t even get a release on PAL over here in the U.K. but still SHMUPS have hit the mainstream more in the last couple of years. Looks like I’ll have to stick with my trusty Japanese copy!

It's so weird because my memories tell me that this looked so much more realistic when I was younger. And for some reason I thought you played as a helicopter? Guess that's just what happens when modern technology gets so good. XD

You do know you can switch your secondary wepon to shoot above you too makes the game way easier at parts
