Hopefully Taigun gets 5 stars. Looks less solid than my polo. gncap testing chances of German cars are very less, but not reliable also. They have some bias to Korean cars.

Bought a new Seltos HTK+ . Completely satisfied with the comfort, power ,mileage, looks and driving experience in highway. I am the guy who drove 0 star Alto for 10 years safely without any accident. So I'm fine with 3 star rating ✌️ which is better than my old car.
Bro issue is Hyundai/kia priorities everything except safety for a car that can cost upto 20L it's not acceptable, if people compliant about it maybe they will fix the safety concerns in next gen.
Drove almost 650 km from Bangalore to coorg to Mangalore. Still 1000 km left to drive. My observation for my taigun 1 litre automatic Handling is superb On ghats stability was too good. Mileage also ok around 16 on highway and 13 on ghats Brake gives me full confidence, gives sound on slower sound AC is ok not that good
I am currently 4 kms on interior of hathipao (Uttarakhand) section..wud like to give 10/10 to 1 liter taigun AT not because I own it but totally on driving dynamics in semi extreme ghat section.....next to test it on extreme (something where 4*4 is not needed) condition

Stick into your lane, slow down and maintain appropriate speed per the road conditions and never never never overtake on a turn be it a ghat or a plain. Don't go out of our comfort zone speed to keep up with others, do the speed you are comfortable in (on the slower side not faster) Happy driving.
I booked a Taigun 1.0, White, Highline MT today because I wanted the safest car for my father. I think German cars are for gentlemen and Korean cars are for Boys. If u compare Taigun with Seltos then no doubt... 1. Resale value is less, 2. Spare can be costly, 3. Features are less but sufficient. I still chose Taigun because my priority is safety above the sunroof, Wireless charger, bigger screens, touchless entry, etc.

My TaigunGT+ is dope 🔥 . Its an absolute delight for the driver as well the passenger, its like Wow. Incredible handling & the brakes does their job perfectly , rather boosts the confidence. People who keep on speculating & doubting VW 2.0 cars, nit-picking , let them do it , there is no cure for speculation & bad mouthing. I am enjoying my drives & I also know others that despite minor issues fellow owners are still loving it & are hopeful for the VW in India , thats whats important for me .

I see VW people are somewhat living in a Complex that vw doesn't have the presence on road and people's mind. So they doesn't leave any chance to look down upon other brands. It's clearly their frustration.
Problem is the owners themselves do not conduct proper research before buying.. kindly learn the difference between tougher and soft suspensions.. both have their own pros and cons.. only seltos owners know the value of tougher suspension on highways
Not a good comparison. You are comparing old model Kia(2022 model have been improved significantly) with New car taigun. Plus safety ratings are valid only till 65-70, beyond which any car will suffer same fate if going beyond 100 or 120... Plus you are comparing 1.0lit engine with 1.4lit engine, so its like apples and oranges! Taigun's feel is inclined more towards crossover style, seltos has mid-size SUV feel.
Basically what i meant is there is much more to these cars & both have to be viewed from different perspectives. So for giving ideas to user, you need to view these car as separate entities... Not by comparing or pitting them against each other & if you are comparing also, should chose the latest models which has much improved suspension. But appreciate your efforts for arranging the opinions of users as much as you could! 🙌🏻
Well said. Who knows how safe is Taigun with its plasticky interiors. VW went for lot of cost cutting w.r.t Taigun and we seriously can't say it's actually safe as we don't know they might have cost cutting.. Except that the Taigun guy is blabbering so much as if he's survived with 10 accidents without a scratch.. If safety is important one should go to next segment and purchase either Harrier / XUV 700.. I can easily say if safety is top most priority he should better go for XUV 300 which is way more safer than Taigun.. Come on in this segment of 15-20 nothing is so safe and it all comes to features and comfort.. With VW service and boring looks in mind, Creta/Seltos are the clear winners 🏆🏆 undoubtedly.
@@sreenivasv3042 safety has nothing to do with dashboards plastic quality...request you to check on what kind of steel has been used specially on crumple zone - basically % use of Ultra High Intensity Grade Steel Won't comment on wether taigun guy exaggerated on few pointers..but I know folks from VW production line in India n cost cutting was done indeed but not on structural integrity in order to keep the same safety standard and price checked seeing the competition...on other hand Kia did opposite - kept the fancy feature intact but had cut down some cost on structural strength and that's why you see Kia seltos in US has 5 star rating Problem is with huge tax brackets these companies hv to compromise on one or another aspect to control the price bracket else prices wud shoot up....

The Taigun is just that. The Taigun. Nothing comes close. But the topline and even the interiors are quite good. Fantastic build quality, drive, handling and comfort. I have the 1.0 litre TSI automatic and it packs a fantastic punch. Incomparable performance as well. Will press you into your seat if you accelerate hard. Steering is spot on. I could go on, but drive it to experience it.
Anytym Taigun over than Seltos. I go with Naman.. Mein b kabhi b gimmicks k liye 1rs b nhi kharch karunga... at the least, suspension dekho aur drive feel kaise aa rha... I vote u mahn !!!
I owned a Volkswagen Ameo HLP, met with a high speed terrible accident, I must say it was a good decision to go with VW. Me,wife and kid all came out scratch less. the car has gone for a total loss because the repair cost is above the on road price. I have taken test drive of Kushaq,Taigun and Nexon. I liked taigun most- may be I am used to VW car that's why.

#Taigun Bhanu Pareek Poor after sales service, nothing is done at service center , serious issue with AC and brakes ( Noise).Poor fittings, lack of very basic features EG: NO MUTE OPTION. Don’t just go by brand value, look for other options as well. Great car incase company can address Service and above mentioned issues
Talking about boot space . Although it’s measured in litres, how practical it is , you should have shown the users with suit cases and bags, anchor seems to be taking sides for seltos. Not even the owner is sure about the features, Anchor is trying to sell. Boot space one of the examples.
VW guys is so biased … 10/10 😂😂😂 Bro, it’s good but not that good like 10/10. It has mediocre interior, average AC, not a feel like SUV, low on features and lot more could be improved. Loving your car is one thing but being honest is more important while reviewing.
I drove almost 10000 kms in 4months , drive comfort is absolutely super. Mileage in city around 9 to 10 bumper to bumper traffic,in hi ways not more then 80kms speed it give 19kms/lit if you go 100kms above it gives 15 to 16kms/lit . On Road 16.3laks Hyderabad 1 Tsi AMT .I face only one problem is break sound in bumper to bumper drive apart from that I can say this is super car for long drives and city you will fell in love with driving .AC is ok not bad .overall rating my car is 9/10 . buy safe cars for your family like Wv ,Mahindra , Tata …..or any safe cars Thank you 🙏
Seltos Camera quality, cabin quality, ventilated seats,360cam, HUD, blind spot detection, air purifier, 4 disc brakes and drive modes are best in segment. Build quality if average, felt at par with my polo. gncap rating not very reliable, did nt do justice to Seltos and Creta with 3 stars. Taigun 1.0 looks as small as 1.0 Sonet.
Only problems i face with seltos is the hard suspension setup and seating position is sportier so you have to buy pillow cushion regarding safety ~ bitch i came up from driving omni and an accidental Hyundai i10 with 0 star rating 😂😂 so it's a lot safer than my previous cars
Mai yahan jo bhi owners hain unsai ek simple way mai question poochna chahta hoon. Dono car ke owners mujhe ye bata do, ki jab highway ya city mai chalte ho, to overtake karne mai confidence kaisa rehta hai, wo grunt milti hai? ki haan mai ye clear kar doonga. Second, ye feel hoti hai- jab aap highway mai chal rahe ho to saamne se jab car koi nikalti hai (overtake karke aapko) to ye feel aata hai ki chalo jaane dete hain, aur ek ye feel hoti hai ki mai isko chahte hue bhi peeche nahi kar sakta. to wo feeling kaisi hoti hai? in all main acceleration and mid range acceleration kaisa hai dono ka.
Bhai dono k 1.4/1.5 turbo engine road pe 99.99% cars ko kisi b time overtake kar sakte hain lekin dono k 1L/1.5Na wala lower model me sochna pdta hai. Simple.
What about the ac of taigun... I have taken test drive of taigun couple of times performace is top noch for 1 L engine but after some time I realized ac is not effective at all and in the month of june and july it will definitely not work

@@harimg9942 True, me too Fully fixed. I think the other guy must be Korean sisters sales executive..Each every vehicle will b hav some sort of initial hiccups when it is newly launched. I don't have any other issues with my Taigun except for that rattling issue which got corrected in my 1st service itself..
Taigun has still not been tested by any NCAP. So we dont know its rating at all. It will have to score a minimum of 4, otherwise considering the product and its price, its sales will dip significantly..

I also own VW Taigun, and Seltos far behind from Taigun in terms of safety and driving quality because I had taken saltos test drive and was not that comfortable… and it’s more important aspect than the funky features which we can not use them often … Taigun is ahead of Saltos
I Owen Volkswagen Taigun At topline from last 6 months it gives 8 to 9 average in city. This to inform to any prospective buyer averages isn’t good enough considering to power and engine. Back seat leg room is better then the creta and seltos because I also have a creta too. Boot on paper is better in creta but in practical you fit more language in Vw. Braking is awesome in Vw hands down. Sometime in stop go traffic Vw seems sluggish. In the Vw brake dose make noise but works awesome. I think brake noise is a Vw thing because so dose the Audi Porsche brakes make the same noise at low speeds.

After 7 months of ownership, I’ll give a 7 out of 10 to my Taigun 1.0 Topline MT. I appreciate its timeless design, drive quality, agility and brand value.. Thankfully, I haven’t had a chance to test how safe it is 😃 But I feel its lack of power under low RPMs, not too smooth gearshifts, not too premium interiors. Also, at Rs 18.5 Lac (On-road Bangalore), it’s at least Rs 2 Lac more expensive.. Would I have bought another car given a choice ? I don’t think so.. I’d certainly have not even looked at a Kia.. Having lived in the US for many years and driven Kia, I’m a kind of biased against this brand which is looked down upon and highly ridiculed there.

Yes, brakes are good, just that in bumper to bumper traffic the bite comes late and it's noisy(startles the bikers around )
Can u tell me how to manuover a car at ghats at high speeds because at hills u should be aware about every curve when u drive at ghats

Poor after sales service, nothing is done at service center , serious issue with AC and brakes ( Noise).Poor fittings, lack of very basic features EG: NO MUTE OPTION. Don’t just go by brand value, look for other options as well. Great car incase company can address Service and above mentioned issues

Talking about boot space . Although it’s measured in litres, how practical it is , you should have shown the users with suit cases and bags, anchor seems to be taking sides for seltos. Not even the owner is sure about the features, Anchor is trying to sell. Boot space one of the examples.
Still I think Kia Seltos GT is more complete car in this comparison ( if there is T-Roc then I’ll definitely go with VW )

I have both the cars and I believe the seltos is a better allrounder and taigun is a better driver’s car but the ac problem is bringing taigun down 😔

I drove almost 10000 kms in 4months , drive comfort is absolutely super. Mileage in city around 9 to 10 bumper to bumper traffic,in hi ways not more then 80kms speed it give 19kms/lit if you go 100kms above it gives 15 to 16kms/lit . On Road 16.3laks Hyderabad 1 Tsi AMT .I face only one problem is break sound in bumper to bumper drive apart from that I can say this is super car for long drives and city you will fell in love with driving .AC is ok not bad .overall rating my car is 9/10 .
buy safe cars for your family like Wv ,Mahindra , Tata …..or any safe cars

Kia Seltos owner looks embarrassed and be like "Arreh me kaha aa gaya"
Taigun looks small compared to seltos.
Seltos Camera quality, cabin quality, ventilated seats,360cam, HUD, blind spot detection, air purifier, 4 disc brakes and drive modes are best in segment.
Build quality if average, felt at par with my polo.
gncap rating not very reliable, did nt do justice to Seltos and Creta with 3 stars.
Taigun 1.0 looks as small as 1.0 Sonet.
Only problems i face with seltos is the hard suspension setup and seating position is sportier so you have to buy pillow cushion
regarding safety ~ bitch i came up from driving omni and an accidental Hyundai i10 with 0 star rating 😂😂 so it's a lot safer than my previous cars

Mai yahan jo bhi owners hain unsai ek simple way mai question poochna chahta hoon.
Dono car ke owners mujhe ye bata do, ki jab highway ya city mai chalte ho, to overtake karne mai confidence kaisa rehta hai, wo grunt milti hai? ki haan mai ye clear kar doonga.
Second, ye feel hoti hai- jab aap highway mai chal rahe ho to saamne se jab car koi nikalti hai (overtake karke aapko) to ye feel aata hai ki chalo jaane dete hain, aur ek ye feel hoti hai ki mai isko chahte hue bhi peeche nahi kar sakta. to wo feeling kaisi hoti hai? in all main acceleration and mid range acceleration kaisa hai dono ka.
Bhai dono k 1.4/1.5 turbo engine road pe 99.99% cars ko kisi b time overtake kar sakte hain lekin dono k 1L/1.5Na wala lower model me sochna pdta hai. Simple.

I have taken test drive of taigun couple of times performace is top noch for 1 L engine
but after some time I realized ac is not effective at all and in the month of june and july it will definitely not work
Seats in Taigun and Virtus become uncomfortable for longer drives

It's not breaking issue. It's the door bush rubbing. Which I got fixed in my first service.
@@harimg9942 True, me too Fully fixed. I think the other guy must be Korean sisters sales executive..Each every vehicle will b hav some sort of initial hiccups when it is newly launched. I don't have any other issues with my Taigun except for that rattling issue which got corrected in my 1st service itself..
Taigun has still not been tested by any NCAP. So we dont know its rating at all.
It will have to score a minimum of 4, otherwise considering the product and its price, its sales will dip significantly..

I also own VW Taigun, and Seltos far behind from Taigun in terms of safety and driving quality because I had taken saltos test drive and was not that comfortable… and it’s more important aspect than the funky features which we can not use them often … Taigun is ahead of Saltos

I have Seltos DCT and I'm fully satisfied with it. Absolutely superb car.
I Owen Volkswagen Taigun At topline from last 6 months it gives 8 to 9 average in city. This to inform to any prospective buyer averages isn’t good enough considering to power and engine.
Back seat leg room is better then the creta and seltos because I also have a creta too.
Boot on paper is better in creta but in practical you fit more language in Vw.
Braking is awesome in Vw hands down.
Sometime in stop go traffic Vw seems sluggish.
In the Vw brake dose make noise but works awesome. I think brake noise is a Vw thing because so dose the Audi Porsche brakes make the same noise at low speeds.

Since Suspension has now been improved in New Seltos 2022 model while updated the features, you should take the review on new car, not the old version because you are taking review in today's value.

I didn't find any problem with my Seltos suspension.
It is better than my Rapid and Polo.
Ten times better than Hyundai i10.
Somehow I like the previous Vw twins…. i.e the #T-Roc and the #Karoq… if there’s a chance I would definitely pick the T-roc instead of any car in the segment…❤️❤️

This is not a good comparison. You should have chosen VW taigun GT DSG or seltos 1.5 N/A. VW 1 ltr engine is not a performance engine

After 7 months of ownership, I’ll give a 7 out of 10 to my Taigun 1.0 Topline MT.
I appreciate its timeless design, drive quality, agility and brand value.. Thankfully, I haven’t had a chance to test how safe it is 😃
But I feel its lack of power under low RPMs, not too smooth gearshifts, not too premium interiors. Also, at Rs 18.5 Lac (On-road Bangalore), it’s at least Rs 2 Lac more expensive..
Would I have bought another car given a choice ? I don’t think so.. I’d certainly have not even looked at a Kia.. Having lived in the US for many years and driven Kia, I’m a kind of biased against this brand which is looked down upon and highly ridiculed there.

@@canary2020 No. Kia and Hyundai have always been considered as bottom tiered brands, usually meant for students and blue collar workers.. Secondly, their reliability and safety have always been in question even though these companies have improvised a lot in the last decade..

Efficiency wise DCT is better, but performance wise Torque converter is better because it provides big torque at low revs.
