Okay….so I got a bit carried away early on. I own 152 third party airports. Not a big issue, but the reality is that many of these never get seen. What I would do if I were to start over is only buy from good developers, and then get A Pilots Life, and possibly buy airports that you are scheduled to. That would also make it a fun way to view the airport. Also….these definitely go on sale during holiday weekends etc. Which would save a lot of money in the long run
It’s all good :) One tip I didn’t mention but that you reminded me of just now is when you do accumulate a lot of sceneries, it’s best to use something like add-on linker to only load in the ones you’ll need for your flight into the community folder, so it saves you time on the initial start up of flight sim.
I have only ever gave one developer a 1 star review and that was them dudes who built KCLT Charlotte Douglas Airport. That looks absolutely no better than the original version
Keep up the good work Marc, I've been a fan since 2021 ❤
I didn't expect that much useful information and tips, many thanks!
Great video and style- Thanks. Also, thanks for the tip to uninstall the default Asobo airport...was not aware of this, will try it out.
Not every airport will have an Asobo version, but most of the big ones will.
Thank-you Marc. Very useful.

I tried to get into it but I rather fly in DCS where I'm doing variety of strike missions, using all sorts of weapons and not just being a sky taxi
Excellent. Thanks...
I didn’t know this beforehand but I bought Drz Design KDCA from the marketplace and now I can’t get rid of the static aircraft 😒
I made that mistake at one point as well with another scenery, it happens…
@@FlightSimSchool8:29 I wonder if I could transfer my license over to the DD store?
@@JoeDFWAviation you’d have to message them and ask if they allow it
@@FlightSimSchool good news! I got my KDCA transferred to the inibuilds store! No more static aircraft!
@@JoeDFWAviation that’s awesome !
I don't like it when they don't put a star on the map to show its a add-on airport. I've noticed this with $2 airports so maybe I can't complain
I actually keep an excel file with my list of sceneries and who made it so that I can keep track a bit easier
@@FlightSimSchool that's a good idea.
