It looks like you still have the Default Frankfurt Installed in the Content Manager, Idk if you noticed but it was double building everywhere. Just FYI.... will probably look better after :)
you have overlooked what has to be the best freeware airport available and that is Duxford by chicoMick he does a complete version as well as an airshow version
I'd like to use aviotek Frankfurt. But all my taxiways is brownish and my runway is even more brown. I reinstalled virtual FRA and of course also the asobo one. Buildings are fine. But taxiways are not. Don't know why. I reinstalled unfortunately

For some reason, my sim kept crashing when spawning in the new EDDF and I had no idea of why, but then I noticed that it consumed a lot of VRAM, simply destroying my 4070, and that made the sim crash. So I put minimum TLOD and I noticed that the new EDDF does not override the handcrafted one by asobo and that I had 2 airports running at the same time (thing that didn't happen with the VirtualFRA one, which I'm still using). Initially I thought it was a problem with my sim, but in the video it's visible how you have the same problem: 2 towers, 2 terminals and 2 of everything. Have you got a fix for this? It would be really appreciated. Thank you.
Yes! I only realised after putting the video live. Go into the content manager of the sim and you can find and remove the default eddf. That should solve your problem.
@@AirNOTT I installed that new free EDDF Frankfurt. It looks OK to me with no default EDDF causing 2 towers to appear etc. Looks like I didn't have the default EDDF installed. Not sure where the default EDDF is in the content manager? I couldn't find it. The new EDDF looks amazing. But it kills my FPS. I only have a RTX 3060.

I'm in same boat but I am building my new PC and should be ready in August. I can't wait. I'm using a i-5 with my GTX 1060 with 16mb of RAM. Usually have graphics on medium but there are stutters. Especially after the last update. So for tips.....invest in a new comp if you want to really enjoy MSFS. Our 1060 is not cutting it anymore. Especially with the new games coming out, or for the ones already released lol.

Vagar on the Féroé Islands, Edinburgh (which is 3 years old!), the ORBX mesh for Iceland are things that comes to mind
