Once I asked my doctor "Why should I take these pills? What does it do?" Answer: "Because I told you to, are you a doctor?" Not his patient anymore.. Greetings from Czech Republic!
Can u do a video on depression and mental health bc I feel like people don't talk about it enough and we need to start bc it's not going to go away if we don't talk about it!
Delaney Alden yes! Also, include the issue of how even some medical professionals don’t have very good bedside manner regarding mental health, or even suicide attempts. It would be great if he could collab with Katie Morton.

Great one about asking “what you would recommend for your family”. I did this with my vet once and his answer changed. 10/10 would recommend this advice!

Hello doctor if you are talking and experience sent is coming from your mouth or your noice what do I do to solve this problem cause I'm afraid to talk in public
I absolutely love my town doctor because as he is thinking he is verbally thinking out loud to let you know what his exact thought process is. My last visit was a rash I had on my back, turned out to just be Tinea versicolor but he named off three different things that it could be and why he ruled the other two out and went with Tinea. The office has fallen under new management but they actually found more doctors that do the same thing he does and it really helps put me at ease as well as helping me understand everything as it is happening.
My last doctor’s visit the doctor seemed impressed that I was actually asking questions about how the medication worked, other medication options, and concerns with my health history.
Unbelievable really the amount of self-proclaimed ‘non-medical’ professionals on here who are attempting to answer people’s medical questions!!! Thank you so much for your comment, Lynda! I appreciate you looking out for others on the channel. I agree there are a lot of people giving advice here when they shouldn't but hopefully people will be smart enough to understand that it is not coming from a medical professional. Be well!
5:10 I'd recommend asking something along the lines of "how _often_ do you treat patients with this condition?" It puts more focus on the _frequency_ with which the doctor treats the illness, and doesn't call into question whether they have experience treating the condition _at all._ Of course, doctors _shouldn't_ be defensive or guarded about these things, but we're all only human -- the more you can imbue your words with "benefit of the doubt," the more likely the other person is to be humble and communicate with utmost honesty ^_^
Bedside manner is a huge thing I base staying with a doctor on, if they're kind and considerate and if they're able to joke around with the patient without being too stuffy. Dr. Mike seems like he has an AMAZING bedside manner, I wish more doctors were like this!
I'm a college student pursuing a career in the medical field and started watching your videos. I totally understand how we have a fun fact that may not seem fun, but it is to us. I have done that so many times. Love watching your videos. My go to study break.
Dr.Mike, can you please do a video about migraines not being just “headaches?” I feel like people don’t take migraine patients seriously. I’m personally a victim of chronic migraine with aura and no one understands or believes the pain I experience every single day. It would mean a lot for you to spread awareness. Thank you!
Have you ever had anyone ask you about your education, perhaps questioning your credibility? Where you went to school? What was your GPA? Were you top of your class or barely passed? etc. etc. If so, how do you react? Lol thanks!
2:25 as a cpht for 7 years and a current pharmD intern, this is something I cannot stress enough. Talk to your doctors, especially your pharmacist! Having a 5 minute conversation about your medicine could mean a world of difference in your experience with taking a medication. The internet is NOT a valid substitute!
I always tell my patients to ask me any doubt they have, and if they don’t, I tell them to write them down on a paper and ask me when I see them again. I like them to understand why I’m giving them that treatment and how it will make them feel better :) Great video! 👌🏼
No wonder my doctor loves me 🤣 I always thought that I was asking too many questions Also, she naturally tells me most of this because of asking so often 🤣 Also good to ask your doctor who their doctor is so you can go to them if yours isn’t available
Dr. Mike could you please advise us what kind of regular (yearly) blood tests a healthy individual is good to do as a part of the health checkup? Thank you. 🙂
When you made the point about having an obscure case, it hit home! I have had a very strange seizure disorder for 7 years now and it has been a ROLLERCOASTER trying to figure out the cause!! When I met with my doctor for the first time five years ago, we immediately started ruling things out and we hit it off. I see him every six months and send him labs to update him on my medicine, and for three years I have been seizure free! We have a very close bond now having had to fight with so many medications, treatments, and medical centers. The man is a genius and I am very lucky to have him in my life! Keep doing what you do, you mean a lot to us.
Doctor Mike, In this video you stated that there is a lot of over testing. I have had the opposite experience on a regular basis. It is so bad that for all major issues in my life (other than obvious trauma) I have had to go outside of my medical services to get testing as they were unwilling to do all but the most rudimentary troubleshooting and often saddled me with some awful treatments that often times ended up doing more harm than good. It is so bad that I have been labeled a troublemaker by a large medical service provider (not the insurance company but the hospitals and clinics associated). Every time I've gotten a correct diagnosis it has been through recommendations and personal expense. I would love to have a doctor like you who does due diligence and handles patients properly. Now, I know it would sound like I just don't listen to the doctors and ignore their advice or seek treatments for issues I do not actually suffer. I listen to the doc and do as they tell me. If their treatment does not work then I get to suffer through the symptoms that much longer. I still do what they ask. My (one) major illness was diagnosed by my sister who suggested a test because I was annoying her with my symptoms. Without that test, I would not be around to ask you "How can I get a doctor who does something other than make grand assumptions without testing and then ignore results when their treatments fail to produce results? At a loss. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
When I visited my doctor day before getting operated,I was in so much of doubts, & I was bit embarrassed too.....but he counselled me so well....by god's grace I have got the most friendly doctor, who always makes me smile whenever am in pain...I like him so much.. He is the actual Dr.Mike of my life...am blessed..I have a crush on him too but he has a gf so I just feel happy by seeing him in hospital...☺️
What I find annoying when I visit CERTAIN doctors of mine, not all, they either seem to be in a hurry to get me out of there, or just interested in selling me meds. I wanna ask questions but their attitude instantly says they are not interested in answering me. I Dont know how much of a problem this in other places. But if you ask me doctors should heal, and you are more pike a businessman if you just sell meds. Ugh.
Hi Dr. Mike. I really want to meet you, because you are the first Dr. who seems to really care. I have always met Drs. who meet me for 5 minutes and seem to be annoyed by all my questions. That‘s why I changed Drs. a lot... thank you for your great videos. They have great content and I actually learn something!
Hey Dr. Mike! I love your videos! Quick question. I have allergies that get bad around this time of year. I often have sinus infections and itchy/ hurting ears as a result. When my ears itch I have been using q-tips to help relieve it (i know not the best remedy), So I was looking into over the counter relief for my ears and learned about ear candeling and otc ear drops. Which if either do you recommend? Or do you have any other suggestions? Thanks much!
I honestly have never asked those questions. Cause I got embarrassed for meeting the doctor. Your advices are pretty good for my next appointments. Thanks
Nurses are the forefront and backbone of medicine. Nothing happens without them. I guess what I'm trying to say is that you are choosing a fantastic career for yourself!
I can't believe I didn't think of this question before! Thanks for asking about how the Doctor would treat their own family members if given the same diagnosis. Also the question about asking for another employee as well as their personal knowledge in the area you're being treated. I'm addition, great reminder to ask for the follow up visit if they haven't already made mentioned about this.
I have a lot of questions. 1. Is it okay to sleep without underwear? 2. (I have epilepsy) Is the VNS magnet guaranteed to work? 3. Is it true that having a lot of body hair is a health risk? 4. Is biting your nails unhealthy? 5. As a doctor, how do you balance home/work life? 6. I don't have a lot of medical knowledge so I usually just trust my doctor's recommendations, is that naive? 7. How little is too little for vaccinations? 8. Why does medicine not work sometimes? 9. My grandma was a nurse and she tells me not to take things like Tylenol or Advil because the body knows how to heal itself; true? 10. Is eating organic essential? 11. I'm not a vegetarian but I'm not a big meat-eater either; what health risks should I look out for by not eating meat often? 12. Is it true you can bleed out from a small cut if it goes untreated? 13. How do you know when to go to the doctor for common ailments? 14. What causes black outs? (I have them a lot before seizures.)
I'm not a doctor, but I'm a former insomniac! Practicing proper sleep hygiene saved my life. It's very simple, too! www.betterhealth.vic.gov.au/health/conditionsandtreatments/sleep-hygiene
Love the when to come back question, also add at what point if my symptoms don’t improve or worsen should I decide between local dr and emergency (? America have another layer urgent care?) so don’t end up in hospital when safe to wait for local dr or stay at home when should see a hospital dr
I love that you did a video of what questions to ask. Some people don't even think about asking these types of questions. I always ask because I feel that the more I know and made aware of, the better understanding I have of just how serious the issue is. The more I know the better off I am in knowing how to help myself get better.
Can you do a video on the importance on knowing your family medical history?
7 ปีที่แล้ว +53
I need you answer: why I have headache everyday, my doctor says only take a Tylenol, but don't say anything about make some exams, I need change my doctor, find another answers, or headache is normal in my body??
do you mean headache/migrain? If it is just a headache, try drinking a lot of water because it could be due to dehydration and eating enough food and also make sure you are getting enough sleep!
Not a doctor either, but people who need glasses might experience headaches. Go to an optician to get your eyes tested. In The Netherlands they often test you for free, maybe in your country as well :)
I was wondering if you can do a video about people on medicaid and advice for them struggling to either find a specialists or just general advice and the inside look to how doctors treat these patients differently
Today is a sad day for my family. We are watching my aunt, who for a medical error had her life interrupted. It was a simple surgery to remove stones from the gallbladder, but the resident doctor ended up puncturing her large intestine, which caused me to take a bacterium, which became a widespread infection, thus coming to death. My aunt leaves leaving an eight year old son and a 20 year old daughter who studies dentistry, and who unfortunately will not have her mother on her graduation. A terrible medical error, took the life of my aunt and destroyed a family!
I’m so sorry for your loss. It is so so hard to loose a loved one, stay strong and remember all the good things you had with your aunt❤️ stay strong, I wish you the best
I've had lupus for over five years and seen more doctors than I hadever thought I'd need. I wish more of them had the patience and thoroughness of Dr Mike. I really would like if you could make a video on lifestyle tips for people with autoimmune disorders.
Before getting test results the other day my doctor said "if you had to pick between living 75 good years, or 100 okay years, what would be your pick". I said 75, obviously. He said, "good, that might be the case here" hahaha. Atleast he's honest.
I ask A LOT of questions when I visit my doctor, both because I'm in Pre-Med and I'm very proactive about my health. This video is really helpful for my friends who absolutely hate going to the doctor for preventive care because they don't know what to ask! Thanks Dr. Mike as always coming at us with great content❤️
I have Endometriosis and I’ve been taking Visanne 2mg for almost three years now. I get really bad headaches and mood swings and I’ve heard a lot of stories of hormone treatment causing blood clots. My question is, is there a way I can manage endometriosis without hormonal treatment?
Melina, this is a question that you HAVE to ask your doctor. There are many factors to take into consideration here and the comment box is not a responsible place to get individual advice for a specific problem like this. Sorry I can't give you more information but I want you to get the best care possible instead of just spewing out information that may not apply to you. Be well and best of luck!
I had laparoscopic surgery a few years back to diagnose/remove mine. The worst part is the bloating and right shoulder pain afterwards. DON'T go online like I did and read that it is a quick healing time and you can go back to work the following Monday. It's good to have someone supportive with you and hopefully you have it bright and early in the morning. It gives you less time to really think about what's happening while you're actually there. Good luck!
Lauren L they've already told me I can't work/go to school for the next 3-7 days after the surgery (depending on what I do) but since the surgery is right before our independence day and then it's a weekend, I have most of those days off of school anyway😂 I just hope I feel good enough to go to a concert 17 days after the surgery (I bought the ticket before I knew when the surgery was happening). And my dad is coming with me to the hospital :) still anxious af though 😅😅
2 years ago, my doctor found that my peeing problem was caused by an inflamed prostate. They told me I really should get it biopsied just in case its prostate cancer.. since i am over 50.. they told me every step of the process and why I need it. all of it made total sense
Thanks for the tips.... This video couldn’t have come at a better time. I’m going in the hospital tomorrow for a repeat I & D on my left leg. This is the second hospitalization in the last month. Question.....What is the difference between oral and IV antibiotics? Is one more effective than the other? I’m being kept in the hospital for IV antibiotics after surgery. I will definitely be asking more questions from now on. Thanks again for another very helpful and informative video.
Don't quote me on this because I'm not a medical professional but I believe oral and IV antibiotics ultimately have the same effect. However, through an IV they get straight into your bloodstream so is a quicker form of treatment. Further, through an IV you can have a continuous level of antibiotic in the blood whereas with oral antibiotics you will get a higher dose that might dissipate slowly until you take another. Overall IV antibiotics are probably better for treatment, but oral are better for convenience of the patient if IV isn't necessary. In your case, I believe the antibiotics would be more of a precaution after surgery. Hope everything goes well with your surgery!
Wish that my doctors have clear answers like you! Most doctors I've met with that treated me have always given me an unclear answer no matter how direct my questions are or simple. Just found this channel tonight and your videos are awesome!
Great video, Dr. Mike! I am 27 weeks pregnant and the thing I find the most frustrating is when ever I ask a question the dr. says "oh your just pregnant." It's hard to tell when you you should push for more than just that as an answer or just accept that and move on. With all the stories in the news about prenatal and postnatal deaths where women expressed there concerns and were ignored, its hard to accept "oh your just pregnant" as an explanation. Any advise?
the doctors in germany never ask you anything you are just telling them what your problem is and they give you something without explaining what it is and what the medication will do....and they give you always the same medications -.-...hard to find really caring doctors like you....so thank you for this video i will definitely ask more next time to be sure :)
Doctor Mike do you have any advice for chronic pain patients? I have been one for 7 months now and I have a condition called patellofemoral pain syndrome and my case is pretty severe😣 i was told 6 weeks of physical therapy would cure me but almost 7 months later I am still going with no significant relief. I have big evaluations for PT this Tuesday as its possible I will be sent back to the orthopedic doctors for more consultation. X rays and MRI were fine, no internal damage. I can't get joint injections, my options seem limited. Would any supplements help the pain or are there some better ways to deal with the pain and other issues? Thanks from a long time viewer....Kendall
I wish we had doctors like you in Austria!! Doctors who take their time to explain everything to you, and who aren't in a rush because the next patient is waiting... I love your channel!! 😄
Great video! Thought you might like this. My husband asked our PC to evaluate a spot he had on his neck. That was ok, but the doctor probed further. He has a great sense of humor and asked him if he had ever smoked Camels, he knew myself husband is an ex smoker. My husband then laughed and said no. Turned out the doctor felt a lump in his back and thought that he may have osteoporosis, so he ordered a test. It turned out that he has thinning bones due to steroids he has to take. But my husbands 75 and at no time prior had any doctor including his orthopedic one suspected this. I think that good physical exams like this can turn up lots of stuff, and our doctor usually doesn't order a lot of tests unless he suspects something.
Sobia, I would visit your primary doctor and ask this question. There are many factors to consider here and doing so through the youtube comment box is just wrong. Please, I urge you get this checked out as asking the question is the first step towards solving the issue.
Doctor Mike I actually did...but the doctors here in Germany couldn't really help me...but thanks for answering 😊 I'll go again to my primary doc to discuss that issue
I love these types of videos! I am currently a nursing student and educating your patients is so important! Knowing they will not have knowledge deficient is great and giving these questions for the patients to ask will help improve the communication in a healthcare setting!
Hi Doc. I don't know if this is a mental or physical health issue, but how do you prevent dreaming at night during sleep? The reason for this is that my dreams are incredibly complex and as a result, is more exhausting than if I was awake. Thank you doctor Mike!!! Bless you always!
My question is: who captions your videos? Because they're hilarious! And also thank you for all the time and effort you put into helping everybody. It means a lot! 🙇♀️
Hey doc, would you kindly adress the problem of acne. It appears as if I have tried EVERYTHING to get rid of it, but the only time my skin is clear is when I get prescribed to antibiotics...tough luck eh? (Funny thing is that my cheeks are always clean and covered with perfect skin while my chin (and forehead) are a mess! Whaaaaat?)
Well as a medical student I can tell u few things like avoid having milk products...drink lots of water because it helps u take out the toxin from your body....stop using any kinda lotions on your skin
Mislav Pečnik clearly this is really important to you as obviously no one wants to have acne. You mentioned that you have tried everything OTC, but have you visited a dermatologist yet? If you haven’t then I *strongly* suggest that you do. First, they’re going to want you to try a bunch of different antibiotics because you’ve mentioned that they are the only thing that you’ve seen so far work.. but the problem with that is the fact that you can’t take them the rest of your life & as soon as you stop them, then chances are your acne will come back. So to skip all that bullshit, I would go to a good dermatologist & tell them that you’ve tried everything including all the antibiotics & that now you want to start on Accutane. Honestly, if it wasn’t for accutane, then I don’t want what I would have done. Like you, I tried everything! But I went on an audition for a movie role & to my complete surprise; I booked the role!!!! But the only thing was that my skin had to be perfect in less than 4 months before we started shooting. So I immediately went to one of the best dermatologists & told her about my situation & that my director needed my skin as perfect as it could be in 4 months. Well they immediately put me on accutane & it wasn’t even a month & my skin was already starting to clear up.. then after 2 months it was completely gone & my skin was soft & smooth like a baby’s butt lol. I simply stayed on the meds for 6 months & here I am; 5 years later & haven’t gotten *one single pimple* since!!!! It saved my life & was a huge contribution to my acting career. So if I were you then that’s deff the route I would go. If you have any other questions then please feel free to comment back & I’ll answer anything you’d like to know! Alright well sorry that was so long, but I felt for you cause I know what it’s like & just wanted to help. Have a great week!!!
Can you do a video on postpartum depression? People ask me all the time why I didn’t want to hold my baby or even look at him after he was born and it’s so hard to explain.
Hey Doctor Mike, thanks so much for providing the public with these videos every week, I honestly look forward to them! As an early undergrad student who is pre-professional health (still trying to solidify my decision on a specific field of study) I was wondering if you had any advice for students that want to ask physicians/health care professionals about shadowing! Is there a specific way we should approach this question? Do you believe that it is inappropriate to reach out to professionals whom we don't explicitly know? Should we only ask our own physicians? I also wanted to give you a possible video idea?! It would be amazing if you could gather a group of health care professionals from a variety of fields and did something along the lines of a panel of Q&A's with them, such as how they decided what they wanted to do, and what their schooling looked like in order to reach their final destination! I know a lot of your student would really appreciate it! Thanks in advance, much love from Michigan!
My doctor is so lazy like when I ask about something she is just "meh, you're young, you can't be sick for real, you are just symulating"... it's kinda funny tho
People can and do get sick at any age. But it is less likely to get seriously ill younger than 40. Most of the people who got sick that young didn't have children or could not care for them, so those genes weren't conserved.
I recently had a situation where I had 3 diagnosis and a minor surgery. Still don't know if it's all 3 or just one and they 100% did not prepare me mentally for that surgery. Like I thought I didn't have any questions but it was only after that I realized they were kinda rushing shit
Great video, Dr.Mike. It was the video that I didn't know I even needed.👍🏾
Please tell me about chain hair going white in 24 age? Why and resolution?
I'm your 1k like🙌🏽
Yes me too. I'm saving the video!
I wish you were my doctor.
Not because of your face, lol, but you seem like you would be willing to help me understand my diagnosis, actually answer my questions in a respectful way, etc.
I’ve not been able to find a doctor I really trust in a long time. When I ask questions they usually act like they’re annoyed I’m asking or answer in a condescending way.
I know firsthand that being asked the same thing over and over by different people can be frustrating/annoying (I’m a cashier; if only I had a dollar for every time I was asked where the bathrooms are...), but I want to feel secure in the fact that my doctor does have my best interest in mind and part of feeling that is having questions answered, even if it’s a question that’s been asked a thousand times by an overly anxious patient. :)
I agree. Wish the same.
I agree, I want a caring, compassionate doctor who doesn't judge or preach....LISTEN....looking good helps too
Me too I wish I lived in New York City so he can be my doctor 👩🏼⚕️
I feel the same way about the Dr I use to have. Drs scare me badly because I've been yelled at by a lot of Drs so I shy away from them.😭
He is so genuine easy to talk too and very knowledgeable.
Once I asked my doctor "Why should I take these pills? What does it do?" Answer: "Because I told you to, are you a doctor?"
Not his patient anymore..

I was just thinking that. Some have attitude and don’t even try to hide it.
Doctor Mike if your doctor refuses it’s likely because he’s likely perplexed by your stupidity....
If i goes to clinic, doctor never tell what happen in my body, they just act like its normal, thats why i dont like to seeing doctor on clinic. And why i get bad doctor not good doctor. But my insurance have to visit that clinic before go to hospital
Great one about asking “what you would recommend for your family”. I did this with my vet once and his answer changed.
10/10 would recommend this advice!
1:46 "Side Effects" LOL
I always ask a million questions to my Dr. Poor guy must feel like he’s in the witness box.
Feel better about it after watching your video.

Dr.Mike I really enjoy your videos, can you do a video on anxiety? It seems to be something that is more common now a days.
I actually did a video on First-day anxiety where I touched on the broader topic a bit. Check it out and let me know what you think!
Doctor Mike I saw that but I'd love a video on GAD because I suffer from this and panic attacks!
You didn't mention anything about panic attacks 🙈👀👌 x
Thank you!
Sometimes I must admit I don’t listen to anything you’re saying because I zone out looking at you’re face 😅😍 haha
Girl same.
Yesssss 😝
Exactly 😂😜
Ikr? What a hunk!
The start is sooo tru 😂😂😂
Omg doctor mike liked my comment WOWOWOWOWOWOOW
Suzanne Parchment congrats... I have to like my own comments bc I’m one of those “unlucky” people 🤣
Have you ever had anyone ask you about your education, perhaps questioning your credibility? Where you went to school? What was your GPA? Were you top of your class or barely passed? etc. etc. If so, how do you react? Lol thanks!
Are u family of quiten tarantino
2:25 as a cpht for 7 years and a current pharmD intern, this is something I cannot stress enough. Talk to your doctors, especially your pharmacist! Having a 5 minute conversation about your medicine could mean a world of difference in your experience with taking a medication. The internet is NOT a valid substitute!
Does our body temperature rise when we're angry? How to manage anger? Love your videos. Thanks.
Can you do a video on older seniors with dementia?? How we can deal with it and how we can help family members with it
Now I become your regular viewer.
I always tell my patients to ask me any doubt they have, and if they don’t, I tell them to write them down on a paper and ask me when I see them again. I like them to understand why I’m giving them that treatment and how it will make them feel better :)
Great video! 👌🏼
I ask my doctor why aren't you handsome
No jk
so just thought this shit....
Are you single? Gay? just curious....... asking for a friend
Julie Garcia hahaha
Lmao I can't ask that bc all of mine are married, so clearly someone likes them 😂😂
Ha! With a hot doctor like Mike, it would be hard not to get distracted.
Hi Dr. Mike. I really enjoy watching your videos. Can you please make a video addressing acid reflux ad GERD ?
Doctor: any question you want to ask?
Me: why are you so dreamy, cute and smart?
🤣 truee
No wonder my doctor loves me 🤣 I always thought that I was asking too many questions
Also, she naturally tells me most of this because of asking so often 🤣
Also good to ask your doctor who their doctor is so you can go to them if yours isn’t available
Hello doctor mike I'm biomedical engineering students from Somalia🇸🇴 and I love your videos
So thanks for being inspiration
Dr. Mike could you please advise us what kind of regular (yearly) blood tests a healthy individual is good to do as a part of the health checkup? Thank you. 🙂
Thank you dr mike for taking the time out of your crazy schedules to like and respond to our comments. Really appreciate it!🙏
When you made the point about having an obscure case, it hit home!
You are so informative! Thank you
Doctor Mike, In this video you stated that there is a lot of over testing.
My doctor actually tells me everything that I could ask about, she is awesome
Thanks
Can I ask my doctor out?
😇
Fajer njr 😏😂😂😂😂😂👏🏽 brilliant
No, not allowed to date a patient lol so switch doctors and go for it... but even then it gets complicated
Fajer njr hahha I like your thinking 😉😉
Fajer njr 😜
Gorgeousgoof why not? Can't your patient even be your wife?
I’m glad I live in Norway and they would rather overtest than risk missing things and it doesn’t cost anything extra
Hi Doctor Mike!! What do you think about the nurses? I'm thinking of start the nursing school 😊 Thank You
Nurses are the forefront and backbone of medicine. Nothing happens without them. I guess what I'm trying to say is that you are choosing a fantastic career for yourself!
Thank you 😊
I can't believe I didn't think of this question before! Thanks for asking about how the Doctor would treat their own family members if given the same diagnosis. Also the question about asking for another employee as well as their personal knowledge in the area you're being treated.
I'm addition, great reminder to ask for the follow up visit if they haven't already made mentioned about this.
c'mon your channel deserves to have a million subscribers
Thank you for saying that! Please share with your friends and family as it helps the channel grow :)
Of course, will do :)

One year later: 4millon subscribers
We need more doctors like you.
I have had so many bad experiences with doctors ay bendito!!
Really informative video! Thanks Mike, brilliant as usual!
Thanks Lucee, appreciate the kind words =]
This is much-needed info. You're the greatest, buddy!👍👍A question: how can i get more sleep again?
Maurice Cooper you could meditate, it helps a lot.
I'm not a doctor, but I'm a former insomniac! Practicing proper sleep hygiene saved my life. It's very simple, too! www.betterhealth.vic.gov.au/health/conditionsandtreatments/sleep-hygiene
Try melatonin supplements, really helpful :)
Try ASMR
Ewa Sadowska they got me crazy and so much stressed o.o
Love the when to come back question, also add at what point if my symptoms don’t improve or worsen should I decide between local dr and emergency (? America have another layer urgent care?) so don’t end up in hospital when safe to wait for local dr or stay at home when should see a hospital dr
Good questions doc. I always ask my mother to ask questions when ever she visits any doctor... And she never does ...
I love that you did a video of what questions to ask. Some people don't even think about asking these types of questions. I always ask because I feel that the more I know and made aware of, the better understanding I have of just how serious the issue is. The more I know the better off I am in knowing how to help myself get better.
What are your thoughts on cold showers?
Check out my morning routine video :)
Can you do a video on the importance on knowing your family medical history?
I need you answer: why I have headache everyday, my doctor says only take a Tylenol, but don't say anything about make some exams, I need change my doctor, find another answers, or headache is normal in my body??
i have migrain everyday too. WHYYY
do you mean headache/migrain? If it is just a headache, try drinking a lot of water because it could be due to dehydration and eating enough food and also make sure you are getting enough sleep!
Not a doctor either, but people who need glasses might experience headaches. Go to an optician to get your eyes tested. In The Netherlands they often test you for free, maybe in your country as well :)
I get headaches too. Try cutting processed sugar and junk food.
Or, it might indicate a problem.
Lizza Grace 🤗😘😘😘thanks!!!
Dudu Ferreira i wish u all the strength
My condolences. Stay strong my friend
I’m so sorry for your loss. It is so so hard to loose a loved one, stay strong and remember all the good things you had with your aunt❤️ stay strong, I wish you the best
Im sorry for your loss stay strong
I'm so sorry. I've heard of people going into surgery for routine procedures and dying. It shouldn't happen but it does.
I've had lupus for over five years and seen more doctors than I hadever thought I'd need. I wish more of them had the patience and thoroughness of Dr Mike.
I really would like if you could make a video on lifestyle tips for people with autoimmune disorders.
You know, if i asked my doctor if "is this what you'd give to your family" im pretty sure the reaction wouldnt be a happy one
Before getting test results the other day my doctor said "if you had to pick between living 75 good years, or 100 okay years, what would be your pick". I said 75, obviously. He said, "good, that might be the case here" hahaha. Atleast he's honest.
How can he be so cute ??
Lalw Yasin how can u be so horny ??
Lalw Yasin u make no sense
Lalw Yasin bitch
Lalw Yasin :)
Shahzeb Khan ur a freak chill out I totally agree he’s got asf lol doesn’t mean she’s horny wth
I have endometriosis too, and I'm having surgery next month to remove it... I've never had any surgery and I'm scared/anxious af 😐
Is it normal to get migraines lasting days at a time every few months? Nothing helps I have tried caffeine, staying in the dark, etc.
Jaida Lynn did you talk to your doctor about it? A neurologist might help
Aw your patient is adorable and it's so nice to see how you're like at work.
@1:02 😂😂 your editor is amazing! Love watching your videos. Very informative.
Doctor.. i have hyperthyroidsm n bloating all the time, what food should i eat n should avoid and which diet plan should i do? Thank you.
Lizza Grace Thank you. 😀
Wish that my doctors have clear answers like you! Most doctors I've met with that treated me have always given me an unclear answer no matter how direct my questions are or simple. Just found this channel tonight and your videos are awesome!
I've been marathoning all of your videos recently! I definitely have a new favorite channel, you're so genuine! :)
Any advise?
7 seconds in and I'm already laughing!
the doctors in germany never ask you anything you are just telling them what your problem is and they give you something without explaining what it is and what the medication will do....and they give you always the same medications -.-...hard to find really caring doctors like you....so thank you for this video i will definitely ask more next time to be sure :)
My new best TH-cam channel!! 😘😆😆
YAAAY! If theres ever something you want me to discuss please leave me a comment!
Dr. Mike can you make a video how to improve our wight?
What should I do against horrible hair loss? :( I love my hair but since the day I got my period..i have hair loss
My family doctor’s name is Dr. Mikhail.. coincidence.. I think tf not
Casey B is it dr Mike or someone else?
odeleya rosner unfortunately it’s someone else :(( not as good looking as Dr. Mike but overall a good doctor, that’s all that matters right ;)
Hi Doc. I don't know if this is a mental or physical health issue, but how do you prevent dreaming at night during sleep? The reason for this is that my dreams are incredibly complex and as a result, is more exhausting than if I was awake. Thank you doctor Mike!!! Bless you always!
Doctor: Any questions?
Me: (feeling sick) nope no questions.
This makes me feel better because I feel like my questions are dumb, but sometimes they have to be asked
Thank you doctor mike! I will definitely ask my doctor these questions next visit.
Awesome Samantha, please let me know how it goes!
I had struggled with acne for a while. Maybe make a visit to your dermatologist if the over the counter products are not helping your skin!
Drink plenty of water & cut back on rubbing one out, ;) it shall go away.
"Complete, GAH-BAGE"
1)Are you single?
2)Why do we get anxiety/depression
3)Can benign tumors due to neurofibromatosis type 2 become cancerous?
Dr Mike what is your opinion on using essential oils to cure headaches Nausea ect.?! Especially using lavender during that time of the month?!
