Hi Alina & Stewart, great videos! Ive had the One R 360 for quite a while now but used to also do it with the go pros back in the days; buy a telescopic fishing rod (for example at decathlon) cheaply and just take out 2-3 of the top parts and the mount will fit nicely inside the rod, just clap it tight and you got yourselves a 5-6 m selfie stick that's sturdy enough not to bend! I bought the Insta 360 last year and made some roadbike shots. I like it because it is easy to use and to mount on bike. I uploaded some videos on youtube but i still miss some editing techneques.

Inspiring thank you. I’ve had good value with my osmo action and mavic mini. The 360 seems to do it all. Is there editing software with the insta? Ease of editing after and free music seems half the battle.
Hey! There is that extra layer of editing because you have to re-frame the shots in post (which you get quite quick at actually). Insta360 have tackled that by (a) providing free desktop software - used to create these shots, and (b) a free mobile app that has a whole bunch of added functionality. Both are impressive apps.

Superb S&A my One R is currently boxed up awaiting to be shipped to Hong Kong for repair, had it in a few feet of water and it died so hopefully it can be repaired and the turnaround isn't too long, I'll keep these shots in mind and I need to invest in a suction mount, I really liked the drive over shit it was really cool
Hmmm, the One R should have done better than that in the water I'd have thought? I like the drive over shot because you'll see that all the time in Hollywood chase scenes or programmes like The Grand Tour/Top Gear.
@@DroneFilmGuide yeah I've had it in deeper water and was fine not sure what happened this time, it's out of warranty so I'll have to take the hit, yeah I see the drive over shot on TV all the time.

Would be interested in The Super Mega Drone Shot with a new GoPro. I was just looking for that shot yesterday with the long selfie stick wondering if it can replace a drone.
You should get a pretty good result. The stabilisation on all the GoPros since the Hero 8 is epic.

great video, I love the lapses it can shoot and alternatively speed up your travel when on a bike or car.
These cameras offer so much versatility and editing options, that it becomes hard to pick one.
Sure thing. Favourite technique for me is speeding up car/bike footage in the desktop app (making sure motion blur is on) and the result is so smooth and polished, I think it looks awesome.
@@DroneFilmGuide that is the one ambiguous side about the Insta360 x series. Great results but editing is a must. Steep learning curve what I experienced about 2 yrs ago. Anyways keep on the good content on your channel

Grazie per la recensione: c’è però una cosa che nessuno mai dice; ho guardato mille recensioni delle insta360 cercato dappertutto sul web ma nessuno dice quanta memoria occupano i video di una 360. Intendo quelli prodotti dalla camera senza essere post prodotti, in pratica il file ancora in formato 360° ovviamente nella sua risoluzione massima e framerate. Tu potresti spiegarmi? Perché di sicuro ovcupa uno spazio decisamente più grande di una classica actioncam 4k

Have you tried mounting the X3 on a Mini3Pro drone? I don't care for the drone top-mounts, I would want to do it underslung. Then in 360 mode I could look down while I'm flying. But maybe too heavy?
Hey! Haven't tried this. Did it once on top of a Mavic 2 Pro with the One X and it was pretty good. Have to put that on the list of things to try though!

Well spotted! 1970 Mustang with a 351W. Left-hand drive but registered in the UK.
@@DroneFilmGuide I suspected it was LHD and I'm not sure if RHD is an option today even though Ford has gone global with its Mustang sales. But, that is a truly awesome vehicle with a highly regarded and sought after engine! Well chosen and I'm sure you enjoy it when you can.

7:03 - Strongest shot in this video I think.
The motion blur on it makes it look like a 'proper' camera. Normally the shutter is too fast on these cameras to get motion blur and if you use NDs it messes up the the electronic stabilisation.
Is it waterproof?
Is it possible to make just with the one camera videos without this fisheye look. Like a gopro look. Is there a funktion to crop in so you get the look? I would love to see this.
You can keep cropping in but the quality deteriorates so it's a tradeoff between getting a realistic FOV but not going in too much.

Is there a way to have the image a bit less "fish eye"? It's what make a lot of your footage easy to distinguish vs a crane, ... ?
You can keep punching in but it's a trade off with the picture quality. I agree with what you say. Hopefully one day we can get more resolution to allow for a higher quality crop in. The 1" Insta360 is better quality. Think we're still some way off getting something like 8k though.

These cameras are so fun, it is unfortunate that you can notice the outdated resolution of the X3.
Then just use a program like Topaz Video AI to uprez the video after composing and exporting.
I dont notice, because I am not looking for it. Whats more, at that price point its appealing to people like me who want to share holiday adventures with friends, not share it with the world for fame or money.

you dont make video with full of creative shots, but instead such videos are good to sell any product , like sponsored videos.
such creative or unique shots only comprised of 2-5% of a full length video, and for that nobody is stupid enough to spend such insane amount of money. The ones who are doing are regretting later.
I do software development. The INSTA360 mobile App is one of the worst designed Apps I have ever seen. Every time I open it on my phone I get super pissed off. Whoever designed it should be immediately fired ! I will never byu any INSTA360 products again. While the hardware is good, the software is absolute piece of trash. The desktop App is a bit better but far from even besic expectations.
INSTA360 dos not really know how to build usable Apps :-(
