I very recently bought the Black Bay 58 Navy Blue to compliment a range of predominantly black-dialled watches in my collection that include the classic Rolex Submariner Date 16610 that I've cherished for 19 yrs. The Tudor is a super, well-made luxury timepiece and I appreciate its rather understated blue dial and aluminium bezel compared to the 'bling-blue' ceramic of my Omega Seamaster 300. Like-for-like think of the Blue 58 as a more modern take on its original black and gilt sibling. The blue really pops in daylight or in well-lit rooms and a pleasure to wear. Although not quite up there with the Rolex in the absolute quality stakes - but why should it when it's barely 40% of a Sub's retail price - go to an AD and try one on. An in-house COSC certified movement, 70 hrs power reserve, staggering lume.... you won't be disappointed.

Heck of a nice watch and stellar videography, holy hot sauce on a sub amazing photography. I have not been a huge fan of the hour hand but it has grown on me. I love my blackbay 41 blue bezel! Was definitely a grail for me! Love the bezel action and the bracelet/clasp! Both are the best I’ve experienced! But I was blown away by the video quality and close up shots in this video! The Sub is a very modern flashy diver. The BB58 is a modern interpretation of a vintage tool dive watch. Definitely very different styles. Quality wise, the BB58 really isn’t that far behind the Sub, just a different style.

How can someone say a watch well over 2,000 dollars is a poor man’s Rolex? Rolex if anything is overpriced I think. That doesn’t mean I won’t buy one lol
I’m with you there man, and these 2 watch companies although related don’t feel too far apart from a quality perspective, but when it comes to price and desirability… Now that’s a different story.
Something isn't right here, You're getting a crazy amount of new subscribers in the last 5 weeks but you're not getting a commensurate amount of views. If you get 1 sub for every 75 views you're totally kicking ass,( its really not sustainable for anyone) if you get 1 sub for 125 views that's about normal, but you're getting 1 sub for less than every 14 views for 5 weeks now and that's not possible under normal circumstances. Abnormal circumstances would be being featured on a huge watch channel, like when MWC was featured on the the urban gentry, but even then it was a big jump for a day or two and then back to normal, not weeks of sustained growth. It took you over 4 years and over 1 million views to get your first 8,000 subs. About 1 sub for every 125 views. Totally normal except taking over 4 years is pretty pathetic. In the last 5 weeks you've gotten about 9500 subs in about 130,000 views which is better than 1 sub for every 14 views. Britt Pearce, whose rise was meteoric in comparison to you, and who has over 5 millions views, never got 9,500 subs in just 35 days. The biggest tell is that none of the last 12 videos you have released has gotten even 2,000 views. Not one. Heck Elizabeth Grant just got over 2,000 views in a week for a video about a messenger bag no-one has ever heard of after taking 3 months off and having less subs than you. Where are all these subs coming from? What videos are they watching and then deciding, hey I think I'll subscribe? I thought maybe one of your older videos exploded but the video with the most views ( Seiko Spb143) has only gotten 4 comments in the last 5 weeks so it can't be that. Sure Teddy Baldassarre got twice as many subs as you have in the last 30 days, but he also got about 70 times as many views and is only getting one new subscriber for every 392 views compared to your 1 out of 14. So teddy gets 70 views for every view you get and only gets 2 subs for every sub you've gotten??! You're simply not getting enough views or comments to justify such a huge subscriber increase. Something ain't right here.

Depends on your budget and taste. For me it was the BB58 because I live dive watches and it was way more affordable then the explorer ❤️
