  • Anna Crowle, a renowned women's health Physiotherapist with a specialism in using Myofascial release to treat pelvic and gynaecological problems, took some time to talk to members of our UK Hypopressives group and give advice on pelvic floor dysfunction and prolapse.
We are so grateful to Anna for spending so much time with us and giving us an incredible insight into her battle to change the current schools of thought for women's health, in particular, what causes pelvic floor and prolapse issues.

How would I find a therapist in Switzerland? Amazing information Anna and love your passion and dedication to raising awareness to this other way of thinking. A Women’s pelvis is not weak, it is the pulling from scar tissue and resulting in a “shift” of the pelvic organs. I am a healthy, very fit 60 yr old given diagnosis of prolapse 6 mos ago. Dr said it is normal and I need hysterectomy. Spending hours each day researching on other alternatives. Thought I was slowly getting sorted out by starting vag estradiol cream ( Dr Rachael Rubin!), pelvic floor therapy, biofeedback but now questioning kegels. Recently learned about hypropressives on utube. Now learning about miofacial release, massage from you and others. Still feel I have a lot to learn and somehow incorporate it into my attempt at continuing to build muscle through resistance training and all the other activities I do to stay strong and healthy. Suggestions for therapists in Switzerland 🇨🇭?
