I NEED THIS, why are you the only TH-camr who thinks of these things for us writers?? Please make more of these in different styles, I have never focused as well as I do when one of your Immersive Writing Sessions are on. Thank you!!
I think it helps because it does the three things we need most in one: A continuous music setting so we aren't swapping albums, playlists or whatnot, and a timer, so we can keep focused on writing but also has 'built in' breaks where we can get up and take a break but also be ready to come back to writing in a reasonable amount of time.

I just found these over the summer. I've been slowly chipping away at a novel all year, writing maybe two hundred words a week- and then I found these. I've been putting in between 4000 and 8000 words a day using these videos. They're fantastic. The timer really helps me concentrate!

After this writing sesh, i wrote 957 words! I Really loved this, and i liked how it was very cozy, and warm! i listened to this, while writing my fantasy book that takes place in the early 1900, and i really loved how it fitted my book setting!

OMG a new video I can listen to!! I'm trying this out today!!
Okay, another writing session! My plan: Write the ending to chapter ten. I skipped several scenes that came before it in the manuscript but honestly they're conversation-based and I couldn't come up with any ideas. But this chapter ending scene I can do, so that's what I'm going to start with. I'll probably finish it and after that I'll reassess what I want to do.
Okay, so, I did get the entire first sprint done. I got a couple hundred words, got a beautiful scene set up. But then my roommates started getting busy - one got off from their job and the other had a job interview so I had to move from my 'bedroom' area in the living room to her room because her room isn't Zoom-interview-ready which threw off my groove and she got the job which is so great for her! Her first Mon-Fri, 9-hour job since graduating university and her first full-time job EVER, and she's so excited! We got boba tea to celebrate and that led to time separated so they could de-sensitize and then things devolved into a couple of major discussions which was mostly them ragging on me.
So, I only got the first sprint done. And tomorrow I have an hour of putting together my loft bed, then job interview but after that I can either spend another hour on my bed or do a video of writing - we'll see.
So, progress! I showed up, I got work done, and that's a win in my book!

My plan: Finish that scene I started last time. After that, I'd like to either do the scenes I skipped over last time or just skip them altogether. I really just want to get this new edition of the book back into the master document so I can move on.

thank you so much for this, I'm still a relatively new writer and I have been writing my longest book yet, I found it hard to gain motivation but after listening to this my motivation was higher than it was when I was lying in bed doing nothing (why do I only get motivation when I'm in bed but it goes away as soon as I start working?)
