Robot vacuums have a bit of a bad rep when it comes to mopping as they just don't have the pressure to get deep into the floor with the cloth. Have you experienced the roborock Q7 Max+? How did it fare for you? For the latest Amazon price, click here (commissions earned) ➡ geni.us/BsQ0BMX
Do not expect too much on moping with roborock Q7 Max+. Along with low pressure, this robot could not mop 5 cm near walls and corners. Consider this function as a park assist function in a car. Good to have it.
So, if I understand correctly, if you do not manually map the room with area rugs, it will try to mop both hard floor and rugs? I was hoping it would distinguish, or be mapped to differentiate to do both functions. It sounds as though it is an either / or decision.

Wish this review came a few days before! I was just considering this model but ended up buying a different 2-in-1

Finally a no nonsense review
I still ended up buying this model, but it was good to temper expectations with the moping

You can designate no mop zones
That one has only one brush? Vs Q8 has 2
I can't get mine to mop though. I followed all the instructions
