one of my favorite things abt igaguri's character that i realized a while ago is that even tho in the start he said his weapon was his relentless spirit, he really meant that as in he will keep fighting as hard as he can in the only way's he knows how. honestly thats true ego in my opinion, using whatever you can to stay in the game and never giving up no matter who you're up against.
I don't think he's the most hated, Isagi's friend that missed the goal and he calls Isagi just lucky after scoring in U20 is the most hated Either him or Kaiser's dad
ITS HERE!! Definitely worth the wait, great job on the video man!! I’ve also seen a lot of myself in Igaguri, and this has made me root him on every time he’s appeared. I was laughing my ass off everytime he would foul Rin lmaoo 💀
Goddamn, bro's editing is so much better compared to the videos I only podcasted. In all seriousness though, this is such a great analysis! I hadn't at all considered how Igaguri is actually embodying Ego's teachings before but you're completely right imo. Same with the way you looked at the dynamic between Igaguri and Reo, you really gave those scenes from the second selection a new perspective for me!
The description of fairness and sportsmanship is important and I never seen him as a bad/cheating guy. His spirit and his later skill are risky, no cheating. And the Reo-part is true. I like him as a player and his playstyle, but as a character, he is not great:Hanging on Nagi all the time and his motivation a lot of times is Nagi, being at this level in very short time, pretty privilege…He is not the worst person, though I‘m surprised he is not much lower in my estimation.
Youve got an immensely interesting bluelock video playlist my friend. They've helped me in many ways and i cant wait for the anime to catch up to the manga so i can see even more from you! Also the Season 2 overview video will be interesting too whenever season 2 finishes! Keep inspiring brother 💪
Fantastic video! I was one of those viewers who wasn’t fond of him at all. However, after watching this video, I’ve realized that I too have been in situations where I had to be creative and think outside the box to compensate for my perceived or genuine lack of skills. I’ve worked alongside talented and knowledgeable individuals and stood out because I’ve taken a different approach than my peers to compensate for such gaps.
Even though I believe Igaguri will not be on the U-20 team, I feel like he'll always be around for the rest of the series unlike Naruhaya or Kira (Sorry Kira believers...) I think the sports commentator idea is perfect for him.
This is why he’s a great character . A truly average person who worked hard is trying to pursue the world that is only allowed to the talented that work hard
Halfway trough the vid and it's a banger ! Wanted to add my piece about fairness / cheating : I was fairly competitive in my younger years, mainly football in highschool and fighting games afterwards 1. in football, something like earning a foul, "playing dirty", are definitely skills. By the end of the day, what you need is winning, so if leaving your right foot hanging sometimes when you enter the box can be the difference between a win and a lose, trust me you will do it. Same for tactical fouls. Is it dirty ? yes, definitely. But unless you get a redcard, everything stays inside the boundaries of the rules, so by definition it's "fair" 2. in fighting games, you obviously look for what you opponnent hates the most and don't know how to deal with, and you DO that. But it get's crazier, as if you're in tournament and play side by side, depending on your opponent's controler you can hear his inputs (wether you want it or not). And players have been abusing this for the longest time. This comes very very close to cheating, BUT both of you can hear it so, wether you want to use it at your advantage is up to you. Your opponent definitely will. Those examples do come close to selling your soul for victory.
I'd say that his desire the not return back to the temple is not an ego to become better and better consistently in blue lock. Afterall, each and every player strives to be the best. However, Igaguri motivation is more self centred which is ok but it makes try more to survive in blue lock rather than thrive. There are many other carriers he could choose to get out of his temple and it just so happens that football is one of them. Maybe the writer tried to display that you need to strive to become the best if you want to survive in blue lock.
Will you do a video on ego types and return from zero, how it can be applied in real life? Do you know a series called captain tsubasa? I loved how you used William's overture from Dandadan. Will you cover that series at some point. Your editors are great by the way.
Great video even though Igaguri is a gag character I don't think the author would just leave him in for fun. I like your theory is real good keep it up.
How can you NOT root for Igaguri my man’s clearly not making it through this selection and he’s not hanging with anyone on the field but he’s here trying to make his dream happen by any means fighting for his fking life the only ways he can 😂 I for one am gonna miss my boy when he’s eliminated tho lol
Hiori didn't reach 20 million with just an assist he dribbled, shoots and so on. As for Igaguri Your weapon being dragging fouls, it's just...trash,insulting to the game, I'm sorry for him but he doesn't deserve where he is now,he shouldn't even have been in the bench at the U-20 game
He is one of the only humans is a sea of monsters. I think he will get onto the finally selection. My guy still needs to do an offensive foul to earn a Free kick for a goal. 😅😅
I lowkey feel like another reason ppl don’t like him is because he reminds them of themselves cuz he doesn’t have any crazy skills like the rest of team, just him fouling to grasp at winning. To me that’s real another reason I loved him, his not like rin or isagi his literally just a normal dude
i feel so bad i was hating on him so much just so that a "nicer" character like Nanase can survive instead of him now I've stopped and reviewed him and he ended up being just like teenage me except he took the extra leap and stopped being sports man like
Am I the only one who hopes that Igaguri picks up the same skillset as Kuroko? I just feel like using his lack of presence to pass the ball and even score would be so fitting, plus it fits with his current playstyle.
Certainly, here is John 3:16 from the King James Version of the Bible: "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." This verse is a profound testament to God's immense love for humanity and the gift of eternal life offered through faith in Jesus Christ.
Hiori has been seen as a passing prodigy for a while now. That's why he gets the offer. Iga has none. I hope he doesn't get the offer. Killing a character is a skill that takes skill, and his" death" was done very well. If he gets an offer, it will cheapen the experience.
I understand why you like him and im not going to say you should see it how i see it. But i still can’t wait for him to get kicked out of blue lock. His uselessness for me is so big that him continuing for this long is almost like he’s being rewarded for bad behavior. If he had something a little more valid in terms of purpose within the story or maybe a slightly less bs weapon, then it wouldn’t be that bad. Cause then its like “he’s bad but he has spunk” but his ability to draw fouls id not just useless but looks like all he does is cheese the game in order to survive. If igaguri had narohia’s weapon for example which is far more useful than what this bald ass monk has, then i don’t believe he’d be as disliked as he is. Its like seeing IshowSpeed being taken as a serious sprinter in the Olympics given the info we know. To me to like him, he’ll need a little more than a cheese weapon and heart. Something even remotely useful, cause other than that, he just seems like an explicit waist of space and pencil.
How am i less than 3 minutes in and I already flipped from hating to absolutely loving Igaguri?! 😂 anyway, Raichi was always my #1 least favorite tho - I haven’t read the manga, but in the anime we get no real context or backstory for him! All we get from Raichi is listening to his annoying screaming voice 24/7, always angry abt the littlest things. But if anyone has a reason _he_ should be liked, I’m skeptical but very curious so lmk
@@MaddieFishblob In the manga Igaguri is always happy for the success of Isagi and others even though he didn't get to play himself while Raichi was critizising Igaguri for praising Isagi and got jealous of Isagi. After getting to play, Raichi seemed to be very happy though.

because it wasn't me that edited it looooool

IGAGURI MY GOAT! Sad it looks like his time is up though in the manga but at least he had some impact.
I hope igaguri gets an offer for a Jp team, and thats it, that would be good for him. I dunno if offers can be made after the match, but i hope
