Happy New Year, Matt! And I think the coins look absolutely amazing. As an Australian, this makes me so proud of my country and our government and people.
Happy New Year Matt. I am fortunate enough to have acquired the 17th coin minted in 2024 from the ballot held at RAM. Paid a bit too much, but for me, it's worth it, and in the end that's all that matters. Markets are based on what people are willing to pay. The COA was hand signed by Leigh Gordon (CEO of the RAM) on the day, and also Dr Brad Tucker, an astrophysicist from ANU, which I think it pretty cool.
How much did you pay
That's awesome!! I think as long as you're enjoying yourself and not putting yourself in a precarious financial position with your collecting you should always go for it! 🥳👍 That'll form a very cool and unique part of your collection for sure!
Great info. Great advice too. Here is to a great ‘24, wishing you and yours all the best Matt 👍
Interesting subject matter 🙆♂️( don’t want to be a Debbie Downer, but I’m interested in geography and noticed that your great country is depicted in the Northern Hemisphere!!).
Good to see you Matt, best wishes for 2024🎉.
Happy New Year Matt!

I agree, this looks like a great coin, and I look forward to seeing it in hand in due course, and as you say - seeing what the mint sets etc look like (And AusPost, I'm looking forward to this on a nice PNC too please!)
Happy new year Matt Happy to hear your voice m8
Happy new year Peter thanks for watching!! 😊
What an out of this world coin! I bet it sent collectors over the moon! I have run out of space for jokes but thought I should Comet. Really like the design of the coin for the most part. I have started a challenge I need to email you about...I think it could be HUGE for the collector space of bullion coins...Maybe something you would like!
Ahoy!!! Thanks for watching!! I've fallen behind on emails but I'll be sure to get back to you properly in the coming days!! 🥳
@@ThompsonsCoins no rush! Just super stoked!

New coins? I haven't finished buying last years yet?!
It can often be hard to keep up!! Although if you're a few releases behind it can actually work in your favour if you skip all the hype of a new release!
Happy new year matt
Happy new year! Thanks for watching!!
I have a quick question why does it say 2023 for the year on the head side?
Because I was a little lazy and used an image I already had on hand 🤣 they will definitely be 2024 dated in real life!
Good looking coin Matt ... do they issue 1$ colored coins? That coin would look awesome colored.....
The mint have done quite a few coloured $1 coins and you're right this design would be great!! I haven't heard anything on the matter yet but watch this space! 👨🚀
I Think this coin is just "Out of this World", however no need to pay Astronomical prices for it. Just wait a while.
Oh derrrr Einstein
🤣 very clever! I couldn't agree more!!
2024 SUN
Cheaper to buy a coin for $20 than to drive down to Canberra. Just saying 😂
It's all about being pragmatic for sure!! Thanks for watching 😊
The new release Blue $1 is an absolutely disgrace for young collectors, what is going on at the mint their not serving the people of Australia sack the Director
