    Blue sapphires have been the latest addition to Gem fields’ acquisition of the mines in Srilanka (75%), because of this main reason we put Blue sapphires as the #1 gemstone to invest in. Have a look at the 6.80-carat stone in the center. This cushion will mesmerize your eyes, your heart if you look at it for too long. Just like how someone wearing nice jewellery attracts a handsome man, isn't that why Women wear jewellery in the first place? This beautiful, loupe clean piece of Royal Blue colored Blue Sapphire is perfect for an investment - yes investment and an engagement ring. Investors are always looking for short term and long-term gemstone investments, especially ladies who have the money and love Colored gemstones.
    If you are going to make one of the most important decisions in your life - to get engaged, you need a very well planned and thought Engagement ring. Diamonds are forever and not every stone that shines is a Diamond. There are stones like Blue sapphires that are the second hardest mineral that mother earth as given to us.

    I find myself always more attracted to the depth of the darker stones.

      The darker sapphires reveal their mystery of inner blue when held to the light which I find beautiful, the contrast when set with diamonds is stunning...from a woman's point of view they also blend with whatever I choose to wear and not influence my color choices as much. I love sapphires, the starry night sky and the deep blue ocean. Cheers and thanks for asking.

      We definitely agree on this line. "Darker sapphires reveal their mystery of inner blue" because each dark blue sapphire we come across our daily work, we see that it may seem that every dark sapphire is the same, however in reality, they are have completely different stories.
      A blue-green stone hints towards the new mines discovered in 2014, you can read here:www.gia.edu/gia-news-research-nigerian-source-blue-sapphire
      Then we have the Australian dark sapphire as per here: www.navneetgems.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/08/Australian-Sapphires.jpg

      It does really come down to personal choice , I have many sapphires set in jewelry that my Mother purchased on a trip to the old Ceylon many years ago they are lighter in color. I guess the more expensive things are does not necessarily mean that much with women who instead choose how a gem responds to them...probably why I do not fancy yellow or pink diamonds either. Cheers to you and loved your video

    I like medium cornflower blue to midnight royal blue. I don't really like the super light ones which are usually unheated and most valued. I guess it all depends on personal preference and the best part about gem collecting for me is finding the colors I like personally.

    Like any other colored gemstone their is an ideal number for the Tone and purity of color are the most important factors in the value of any colored gem, clarity is not a major factor like in diamonds ,its all about the color

    • @NavneetGemsMinerals
      @NavneetGemsMinerals  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Color is very important. But I have seen some very nice dark color stones with no sparkle! This is why even for colored stones its still the 4 C's that make a difference. The big jumps on price is on the color though I agree. But the combinations of the other 3 C's are important too.

    • @rajeshkunkawlekar22
      @rajeshkunkawlekar22 7 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Hi... i think the aim behind preferring lighter blue shades (towards transparency) is to get light pass thru it from the surroundings and it gets absorbed with blue color filter well than the light passes through the darker shade stones.... in other term this improves the Vitamin D level in your body and gives serotonin boost to your brain to feel good.... If the stone is darker then the transparency will be lesser and light passing will be less than the lighter stones. Its my study so far in precious stones selection.

    • @NavneetGemsMinerals
      @NavneetGemsMinerals  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Muhammad there are quite a few differences actually and it starts with the old diamonds are made of carbon story which is true to its composition which is primarily carbon but sapphires are primarily composed of corundum or aluminum oxide. here's a more detailed explanation too bluesapphire.org.in/natural-gemstones-blue-sapphire-vs-blue-diamond/

      No they dont. Aquamarine is different blue tone... definitely not even close to any shade of sapphire in my opinion. I would say that some greyish midium blue sapphires are similar to blue spinels. I love personally really vivid blue sapphires and not too dark cornflowers, they are sparkling amazing! :)
