Bangkok is a great getaway from Pattaya. I always go on the weekends when all the BKk people come to Pattaya, it’s not as busy. I always stay at Sukhumvit 11 as well.
149B for the English one with cereal is a great deal. I'm a cheap Charlie so usually go to Nicky's for their 99B breakfast which is pretty decent. But for only 50B more, this looks like much better value. I'm upping my breakfast budget to 149B from now, thanks Nick!
Love your channel, very good reviews of places that others do not cover but places I like to go. BTW, your accent is contrary to your attire,... Leafs, Canucks, Raptors, Stanley Cup, you must have some Canadian linkage. Keep up the great videos.
What was that before I can't remember it was a go go I think I'm back next Thursday 8th cant wait I'll have pop in all you bars and have a few drinks if you there in the bar
I know temples aren't exactly part of the usual NDtvi content, but the White Temple in Chiang Rai is a must and easily the best temple I've seen in Thailand, and I've seen quite a lot! Breath-taking place
Paris is Love breakfast is on special offer at the moment for only 129b! It says so on the blackboard when Nick comes out after eating. The blackboard was still outside when I went passed yesterday. What a deal, I think I will be trying it out this morning! 😋👍
You have a lot going gone Nick , please enjoy your travels and if a convenient opportunity arises we will get together ! See you when we can my friend . Have a great time .... Karl , @@NDTViThailand
I carnt wait to come over in November for a few months I’ve got a lot off walls to plaster first to save ££. Subscribed great channel for advice I’ll be in your bars a lot no doubt🎉
Hey Nick in a typical American breakfast you get pancakes, bacon, hash browns and toast. If I was serve a tomato I would pick it up and throw it at the chef!
@NDtvi Thailand have u been to Ubon Ratatchani? I love that city and also some miles outside is Pattaya Noi great place. Another thing, when stay in Bangkok I always stay on Presidente on soi 11 not a great hotel but ok prices for a sta in a suite
Gday Nick, , another ripper breakfast, just so spoilt for choice in Pattaya. There is a really good upmarket steak restaurant in Chang Rai on the river just on the outskirts of town. It's really worth going to, was owned by an aussie guy, can't remember the name. Im sure you will find it, well worth it, cheers. I fly in to country on 6th feb, cheers
Another Great Video. Thanks guys for the Updates. Soi 7 is getting better and better..! I think Pattaya still offers a very good value for your money. Lots of choices regarding a decent variety of quality breakfast for a very affordable price. Nick you should try a Restaurant called LE DU. Is in Silon Soi 7. Bangrak- Bangkok. They have one Michelin ⭐️. Very Casual place with Thai modern food. Enjoy your weekend.
Hey Nick Chiangmai nice and very close is Mae Sot and Mai Sai well worth a visit. Unfortunately in my day there was no Michelin stars there 😅safe travels
Apparently over 400 in Thailand now with this vast majority being on the 'Michelin Guide' I have been to two and they were excellent. Also, with Thai food they weren't expensive at all apart from some in Bangkok.
There's nothing like the stench of Bangkok... ! In America, that breakfast would be two eggs, two bacon or sausage, and two pancakes... no mushrooms and no tomatoes ...
Interesting what other people around the world think is an “American” breakfast. Lived here all my life 60 years and never even see beans for breakfast. And if tomatoes, mushrooms are served they are chopped up in your eggs as part of an omelette. Pancakes are never served with honey, always pancake syrup
American breakfast was meant to get your ass up outta bed smelling that hickory smoked maple smoked bacon eggs and coffee. Maple syrup also an American thing if I ever moved abroad those American hardwood smoked meats and maple syrup would be the only things I would dearly miss.
Nobody serves cereal with all that either. They need to cut the cereal, don't need all those carbs with the pancakes. No wonder he couldn't finish it. Funny what is considered an " American" breakfast, nobody would eat like that at home. A huge platter like that is only found when eating in a restaurant, and even then is one of many options that people would eat.
There were no beans and personally I don't think beans belong on an English breakfast. I took them from Dan's plate before he started because he hates them.
We almost got to see Nick break an ankle in Soi 7. I noticed he was very weary of the gutter for the rest of the video. Take care walking when in Pattaya as there is lots of things you can trip on. It is very easy to get distracted as we all know 😉
Nick, did you catch the rent etc. on that corner unit that you said the agent gave you the wrong numbers on before? I remember what the agent told you before and those numbers were crazy. Thanks in advance.
Another nice episode. Breakfast looked good and a wonderful price; but that's not a real American breakfast. American breakfast would have bacon or sausage, eggs, hash brown potatoes, maybe even country gravy. The pancakes would be on the side with butter and syrup. No tomatoes , beans or mushrooms in an American breakie. Cheers!
how do they make money from those breakfasts, maybe on the promise you come later for drinks?? @ 69B beers on the chalk board outside ??; Travelling south , go the the beach areas of Nakhon Si Thammarat , just south of Koh Samui, once in Nakhon Si Thammarat , go inland to see the thai towns and hamlets, poor as , people say Isan is poor, no way. Isan is about the size of England, has some run down areas , southern Thailand is the poorest area in my opinion,
smoke your own bacon , make your own sausages , keep away from those commercial baked beans, make boston style baked beans, I've been doing it for many years, would be fun to come over there and set up a kitchen ..you would have all the ex pats buying sausages and bacon as well as eating in ...7 days a week 365 days a year .....yep I can smell the smoker " lacing the wind with delicious flavours..could do Kransky as well .... I enjoy your videos thanks for all your hard work...
Blue by Alaine Ducasse is a fantastic Michelin star restaurant in Bangkok at the icon Siam. But be warned dinner was $500 Australian dollars with wine per person last time I was there.
Bangkok is a great getaway from Pattaya. I always go on the weekends when all the BKk people come to Pattaya, it’s not as busy. I always stay at Sukhumvit 11 as well.
Yes Nick/ Kung,s sausages are the best.
£3.30:- £4.00 English that's great value up to £15 in UK for breakfast and not so big with all the extras.
Never even seen that breakfast place before tbh. Looked an absolute steal. Def be giving that a go. Cheers.
149B for the English one with cereal is a great deal. I'm a cheap Charlie so usually go to Nicky's for their 99B breakfast which is pretty decent. But for only 50B more, this looks like much better value. I'm upping my breakfast budget to 149B from now, thanks Nick!
looking good for NDtvi in 2024 looking forward your trips round THAILAND
I’ve commented this several times before, your cuisine episodes are my favorites! That’s a lot of food at excellent value at 3:51!
Love your channel, very good reviews of places that others do not cover but places I like to go.
BTW, your accent is contrary to your attire,... Leafs, Canucks, Raptors, Stanley Cup, you must have some Canadian linkage.
Keep up the great videos.
I walked by Paris in love when it was closed and it looked like it would be expensive BUT those breakfasts proved me wrong.
What was that before I can't remember it was a go go I think I'm back next Thursday 8th cant wait I'll have pop in all you bars and have a few drinks if you there in the bar
visit china town OMG its so nice
GREAT VIDEO YOU HAVE GOT BETTER OVER THE YEARS ,WELL DONE ,,,,,,,,,,,,,I ENJOY WATCHING YOU NOW

I will be around only popping off back and forwards. Martin mentioned about going for food.

Hey Nick in a typical American breakfast you get pancakes, bacon, hash browns and toast. If I was serve a tomato I would pick it up and throw it at the chef!
Have places have changed. Can remember Keith (caddy shack)opening the last resort bar where Rosie O’Gradys is and the house on stilts opposite .
@NDtvi Thailand have u been to Ubon Ratatchani? I love that city and also some miles outside is Pattaya Noi great place. Another thing, when stay in Bangkok I always stay on Presidente on soi 11 not a great hotel but ok prices for a sta in a suite
I have stayed there before and yes a great hotel.
Great vlog Nick mate .
Never had Tomato or Fried Mushrooms on any American breakfast, perhaps you could substitute some home fries instead.

Chaing Rai will be cool to see.

Thanks for the tip.
Have you ever tried the El Gaucho steak house on soi 11 in Bangkok Nick. Heard its pricey but very nice
No but I know about it however they have now opened in Pattaya.
@@NDTViThailand looking forward to a future video on it if you get to try it
Overpriced to the maximum Pattaya have more good places like Beefeater and Longhorn
Hey Nick Chiangmai nice and very close is Mae Sot and Mai Sai well worth a visit. Unfortunately in my day there was no Michelin stars there 😅safe travels

FLAME Restaurant has the best barbecue in Pattaya three doors down to the right.
I don’t know where these guys come up with it but an American breakfast would never have tomatoes and mushrooms. It would have hashbrowns. )
NICK, check out De Lanna Riverfront cafe in Chiang Rai. Amazing food right on the River.
We almost got to see Nick break an ankle in Soi 7. I noticed he was very weary of the gutter for the rest of the video. Take care walking when in Pattaya as there is lots of things you can trip on. It is very easy to get distracted as we all know 😉
It was one of those concrete curved gutters pretty dangerous really especially if I was 10 / 20 years older with more fragile bones.
Sukhumvit 11 is the best of bkk
Nick, did you catch the rent etc. on that corner unit that you said the agent gave you the wrong numbers on before? I remember what the agent told you before and those numbers were crazy. Thanks in advance.
It was confused with another building but it's still too crazy. I don't know about this building in the video I will try to find out.
Good vlog mister dean
if u need star places etc eat etc ,I have info ,not cheap
Did her American breakfast? I love pattaya even more!

Americas dont eat tomAYtoes for breakfast. ;) (or beans)
Sorry it's not American breakfast without fried potatoes!
I think they call them tater tots. 🤠

I used to smoke and cure all my own meats I just don't have the facilities or room to do it here.
O well least you have done it so you know what I mean … have a great week
#2, 1st loser. LOL
Blue by Alaine Ducasse is a fantastic Michelin star restaurant in Bangkok at the icon Siam.

Nice. I think I'll pass. 🤣
and I thought my dinner for 3 people was expensive at Benihana ($240).
