Digging a soakaway & Finding Rock with our Takeuchi TB216 excavator

Digging out and connection up two 4" (100mm) plastic drainage pipe through a Y channel into a soakaway.
We hit rock which made it more work than it should have been but we got there in the end

How do you find the 216 I got the 016 the older one that tell me the new one is not so good what do you think

I use to own a TB014 which is the same as a 016 without the expanding undercarriage, great machine. I also operated back to back my 216 and a later 016 recently on a job and the 216 is 20% better all round IMO. Quicker, smoother, less noisy, easier to see around the arm with the new design. More comfortable, more power.. just all of it really. I have also seen a select few saying the 016 is better, but for me.. it wasnt. That's no disrespect to the 016, great machines, but the 216 is the next level. Hope that helps and thanks for watching
