- Welcome to my knitting podcast in English 🤎!
I'm coming to you from the Netherlands so excuse my Dutchy English. I enjoy all the inspiration in the worldwide knitting community so much. I would love to share my 'handwerk perikelen' (also known as crafty adventures) with you.

Good close neighbors are so important
The word you were searching for is humidity. I know what that is like because I live in the south of the US and we have humidity. Love you and your podcast! This is my first comment but I have been watching for a few months!❤🎉 I love your daily updates. I look forward to seeing you and following your progress on your knitting and crochet!
lm thinking you should join your real friends! us virtual friends can wait.....
I love it when you give us the Dutch words for things. You are amazing and so inspiring.
I love the idea of the dropped stitch cable to hide an obvious ladder in your sock! I usually knit the fish lips kiss heel on my sock but i think i might run into the same problem as with the shadow wrap heel so if i try it, i will include your idea to keep the first stitch normal.
Humidity, I live in sub tropical climate in Qld, Australia. The Humidity is horrendous here in Summer. The only way you can bear to knit is in the air conditioning 😂
I knit my Remi in the Rowan Summerlite cotton. It has a beautiful finish. ❤
Yes Sarah, you answered my question about your central air conditioning! And today you mentioned “humidity”…that’s the dreaded water in the air 😓🥵, which is what I’m most thankful for my air conditioner for!
Also, thank you for sharing everyday regardless of how you feel. We all have off days, that’s real life….and you’re doing an amazing and inspiring job of keeping up❣
🌱 thank you for the company...vogtigheid or klamheid...afrikaans for humidity ....🌻also i thought maybe you were looking for the word "disguise" for "hide" (that ladder on the travel-memory sock) ?

Awww, poor hot Sarah 🥵 Still hoovering though! What did you add to your foot soak water? I’m sweating in my conservatory while I watch this, there is football ⚽️ in the other room and no wifi outside , so I feel stuck 😂
Here in the Southern U.S., we call humidity “air you can wear.”😂
I love these episodes! To follow your progress and thoughts.
Btw, I have 3 of those mugs that you were gifted, but they are green. They are our hot chocolate mugs. Hihi. We used to have a brown one too, but gave it to our thrift store.
It is always difficult to get jobs done when the weather is humid. Hope you had a restful weekend. 🇬🇧
In NYC we get also high humidity with high temperature. We said it feels very "muggy"
I've enjoyed your podcast so much, decided to join. Another day to watch lol
Those are beautiful needlepoint pillows. Did you make them?
A tip that helped me with laddering on my socks: Andrea Mowry said to tug on the second stitch on the needle and I have no more laddering on any of my knitted items.
We say a day like that !it's muggy ' It means hot and humid as the other people said
Sarah it is so cute when the little boy says to you that you must knit him some socks!
Now you are in debt!
Your English vocab is excellent ! Moisture in the air - humid . Mari, W🇦🇺
Have a lovely restful weekend! thank you.

Sarah I love your Prague blanket. The color combination is wonderful. Thanks for making these podcasts ❤
Hello Sarah, I hope you enjoyed your coffee with friends. I do the same thing but not as often. It is precious time spent with good friends. What a sweet conversation you had with your little friend! When there is moisture (water) in the air, it is humid. You would say "the humidity is coming in today".
When you feel the moisture in the air, we say in English “it’s humid”. So nice to have local friends to have coffee with. Such a busy day for you. I can’t imagine living with no air conditioning. Here in the states it’s been unbearably hot and I don’t think I could survive with only a fan. Stay cool, my friend ❤
Humidity! I hate when it is humid. It feels that much worse than when it is dry and hot. Yuck! I love all your WIPs. It's nice to have a choice on what to work on. I used to be a one project person, and I still mostly am? One project I am concentrating on. But I do have other projects waiting for me on the side that I can pick up if I feel like it. Although I tend not to. lol!
❤❤
