This is now my third time watching this Video since it came out. Actually found your channel because of the iReapzz Video and wasn't expecting anything Trophy related but oh boy was I wrong. This has to be one of the best trophy related Videos that exist on TH-cam and its shocking to see how such a good and well put together Video only gets this amount of Views. I know its a niche topic about gaming but people are really missing out. I can't even imagine how long this Video took but it was so worth it. In 2023 a lot of people. Self boosting is your only option, a lot of games are either to grindy, too risky or lan only so online players isnt an option anymore. And you cut the grind down by a LOT. I have 4 ps3s and I paid 30 quid each for them. Its not a massive investment.
I really like Joseph Seed personally, I loved how ambiguous and composed his character was while maintaining a sinister exterior. He always kept me wondering, he was like The Jackal in that way I guess.
Every time I launch that game it makes me feel sick to my stomach like im playing in a desert filled with puke everything about that game is absolutely disgusting although I most say the story , Josepa&his puppets is a way better1 than pagon, pagon felt like a pink flamingo who really wasn’t out there to hurt you (ending tells us why)the setting in 4 was better .now 6 is the best graphical design so far it really rails you in the setting of yara it is absolutely beautiful & I personally like the story of it a little bit better than 4 the look they gave pagon from the beginning I never felt a threat from the 🦩 5 is good story but just out right fucking ugly while 6 is the opposite.
All I'm saying is that I've been a fan of farcry since 3/4. And tbh if they make a farcry with the story direction of 3, action of 4, and music of 5 it would be an incredible experience. Though idk why, but 5 caught me off guard and bring me back cause of the music. The fact each area owned by the seeds are different from the music is wild. The fact that the choir for John represents the fact he has the biggest area and army of the whole county is insane showing the fact the cult always goes after you and takes you to him. While their is only one person singing for faith representing that even though she has people fighting for her they're just mindless zombies under her control. So basically the girl singing his her and only her cause in that part of the county it's all controlled by her to the point she uses the bliss to get you anyway possible. As for Jacob he's quiet, but can slightly hear his people sing. They come sneaky and silent while having wolves sneak up to attack you. And when he comes to get you. He. Will. Get you. No matter what and completely out of nowhere too. Crazy man
With FC2 I always felt that the Jackals change of heart in the endgame was a ploy to get you to take yourself out, which is why his body was never found because he escaped while you the PC took all the attention going out in a blaze of glory without his even needing to lift a finger

Only suggestion would be to change the title to something along the lines of “Getting platinum on every far cry game or 100% completion” as you deserve more publicity and viewers for your amazing content as the title atm isn’t all that catchy to new viewers of the channel.

Fc5 has been my favourite platinum so far, just for the punch a bull to death trophy 😂 Also, that bliss tune is hypnotic. Hands down my favourite FC track across all the games

I'd love for some more videos exploring absurdly difficult platinum trophies, similar to your first video. I had no clue what crypt of the necrodancer even was before the video, yet I still thoroughly enjoyed it.
18:50 hard to think that because spoiler alert of FC4 Longinus, the arms dealer, it is hinted in the game that he was one of the faction's leaders of FC2 and that he survived you the player. Canonically look like we killed him with a headshot.

Wow, nice video. I fell in love with the FC series when FC3 came out. It is still my favorite FC game because of the setting, the music and of course Vaas. I have not tackled FC1 and FC2. I did not know how bad FC2 is (in terms of multiplayer). I did not know there was a multiplayer part that is so ridiculous. But I also did not know about the cool villain in this game. I enjoy the review from a trophy hunter’s perspective. I liked your love for the game. I probably will never finish the whole series, because of the 2nd game’s multiplayer. I have no nostalgic feelings for the 1st Far Cry. But I am looking forward to Far Cry 6. I hope the story is a bit more tight than FC5. I loved the setting in FC5 but the missions were too lose. You mentioned it. It felt generic. That is exactly what I felt. I did not feel the urge to get to the end which is a bad sign to me. I liked Primal because of the base building feature and the fresh setting. I loved your personal perspective on all of these games. Thanks for sharing it in this video. I enjoyed watching it. honestly an under appreciated game series. most people that dog it nowadays actually grew up playing them including me. big props for shouting out 5's soundtrack aswell
The biggest problem with far cry these days is if you've played 3, 4 etc and you play a new title such as 6, it feels like the same game overall. While I do agree to some extent I do think alot of the hate pushed towards far cry is undeserved
Ubi games are among the most overrated games out there. It's literally the same framework for every single franchise and every game is filled to the brim with meaningless chores. The writing is bogstandard, acting is mediocre and gameplay is okayish but hampered by all the meaningless filler content. Not even talking about the absurd ways they use skilltrees...Ubi wouldn;t know a good skilltree if it hit them in the face. High production value doesn't mean good game. It's creatively bankrupt and the rise of mtx, season passes and all that bs made it even worse. FC is almost as bad as Watch Dogs when it comes to the Ubi copy/paste jobs.
I just went through and rewatched all of your videos again (because you make amazing underrated videos) and honestly I couldn’t have picked a better time to do this since I recently just platniumed Far Cry 5 and 3 this past week.

I definitely agree that Far Cry 5 has the best soundtracks if any Far Cry game. From main menu music, to loading music, and then the combat music, and even the radio.
What a great video, I've only played 3-5 and personally enjoyed them all for different reasons but I'm glad we agree on 5s soundtrack it really did make me want to keep playing even if the missions and characters weren't the most interesting
Far cry 2 is really unique back when 2008, Ubisoft really putting passion and love in this one. It feels like a escape from tarkov made by Ubisoft. Btw the jackal is actually the main character in FC 1.
that last one is a theory, not confirmed by Ubi. It is more canonical that Assassin's Creed shares a universe with FC due to an easter egg in FC3 and FC5. Also, I partially agree on Ubi by 2008 put passion into their game but I believe that FC2 was too detailed and immersive was that Ubi was trying to test their version of the Crytek engine, the Dunia, which is why so hardware intensive for its time.

I understand your points about the dire setting and how characters should act like it however compared to when everyone was in a dire situation in FC2 it was just everyday life at this point for other characters in FC 5 and 4
This is incredible, I maybe be one of the few people to achievement complete every single one on xbox, as i am getting close I am missing Far Cry 2’s soldier of misfortune, but i do have about 15 hours worth of work into that so far. I need a few more of the co-op achievements for Far Cry 3 xbox 360 and need to finish the final dlc for Far Cry 6, but i have finished the first 3 of escaping each of the villains minds. I have a few trophies left and the dlc on Far Cry 4 xbox 360, and I have only the single player left for Instincts Predator. Other than those I have all of Primal left as I will play it as a reward for completing the rest! I have classic,3 classic edition, both blood dragons, 4 on the xbox one, 5 +all dlc, and new dawn 100% so far! Wish me luck and outstanding job completing all of them!
Man, there is something to be said about trophy difficulty. IMO difficulty comes down to the individual skill and playtime. Trophies like Fortnite are in my 10/10 difficulty cause the amount of time is simply baffling. And then there is the games with dead multiplayer. In this video that was Far Cry 2, the best part of the video. But from my experience, my personal trophy that I will never bother getting is The Last of Us factions. No way am I wasting time, boosting that is also a days long affair.
@@xArchivist I did, no player base and the journey system that you have to complete twice apparently weren’t rewarding. So just like Crysis 3 years ago, the main issue is simple… NO PLAYERBASE!
I have everyone as well even primal, classic, new dawn and blood dragon. All except farcry 6, will get to it soon. I finally platinumed FC2 this year. Your boosting footage brought back some brutal memories, it took me about 3 months of self boosting, and those diamonds in the campaign are a headache. I credit FC3 on PS3 for getting me into trophy hunting was one of my first plats.
FC2 is one of the games I got the fondest memories of. Mainly playing multiplayer maps made by friends or by myself. Many friends got the game because it came with an xbox 360 bundle together with halo 3 and gow 2
I just love FC4 more than FC3 and FC2 is probably my fav, maybe even side by side with FC4, even tho I understand that FC3 is amazing. FC4 is welcoming, more variety, great side quests, great story, etc. Good franchise, a shame what it became.
The only thing I didn't like about the video was calling Joseph Seed a Vaas ripoff. I don't see how he can be interpreted as Vaas at all. Other than that this video is incredible. Found the channel through your 3 nearly impossible gaming challenges video and it's actually the video that got me to play Celeste in the first place
Ripoff as in he's another unhinged villain that follows you throughout the game. He's not the exact same obv but i think its clear that vaas was the blueprint for creating joseph. and ty for the compliment

I never understood the hate for FC 2. Ubisoft wanted to craft a brutal open world game with somewhat realistic gameplay in terms of difficulty. Your character is really squishy, no minimap period, no directional arrows telling you where you're being shot at from. Sure, the weapons degrade way too fast and they're also hitscan. But I always just chalk them up to degradation being a balancing decision and hitscan being much easier to program, especially for 2008. Heck, you can even argue it was released too early with the current popularity of first person survival games with more realistic and unforgiving mechanics like Sons of the Forest. Ubisoft really could remaster it a bit and rerelease it to probably a much warmer reception now than in 2008. It's one of the main reasons I still have my launch PS3. So I can easily jump into it whenever I get the urge to play the game I still consider my favorite FPS of all time. Okami will probably always be my GOAT. But FC 2 makes a strong case for 2nd place.
To be fair, FC6 which you didn’t have in your video of course, is easily my favorite one. It may be a hot take, but I just love it. Also the platinum trophy for FC6 is sooo enjoyable
I loved far cry 5’s soundtrack as well. I loved the songs Help me faith, Build a castle and Only you the most but hell all of them were good those are probably my favorites though.

Okay, I haven't played any of these games so I'm obviously not gonna act like this is fact because I obviously don't know the ingame lore/cutscenes, but from what you described, Far Cry 2's villian's change of heart seemed pretty supported most of the way, aside from the diamond theft in the middle, he shows mercy the first encounter, and saves your life the second. From what you described, it seemed like he was in a similar situation to you, doing work for both sides and eventually realized a way to end the war.
It just felt random to me that it was this war specifically that made him change his mind. After all, he's been involved in so many wars before, I can't imagine that this one gave him any new perspectives. Thats why it felt contrived to me, but this can be argued against as well. I likes this video a lot. I' ve only played 3 (I loved it but hated the ending) and Blood Dragon (loved the aesthetics and not taking damage from falling) and now I really wanna play 2: I've heard a lot of things about this game and how it created the emergent gameplay so popular nowadays, and I'm intrigued about the story and how it unfolds. I really like his creative director, Clint Hooking, who has wrote a lot against the ludonarrative disonance and how to scape it, and it appears he achieved his goal! Thank four your work
I love FC2 but I will say if you play it for the story you'll be disappointed, it's kind of a mess lol. Still worth the playthrough though due to the beautiful world and immersive gameplay

Far cry was also the first set of games that got me into trophy hunting with me personally primal is what caught my eye for many reasons a big one being no multi-player trophies but I loved it and all of the far cry games after

Man i aslo did the far cry 2 plat like 4 years ago and I and my 2 buddys spent the whole christmas holidays grinding this mp stuff out. I also organzized a whole 16 man group for the war party trophy. So i really can relate to your achievement.
Farcry new dawn was the most fun I had in a farcry game since I first got Farcry for Christmas. I played it in Co-op and literally never took it seriously and took it for face value as being a cash grab. I feel bad for people who played this solo or as "the next Farcry". It's a good to mess around with friends because how buggy and bad it is.
I have never met anyone with my opinion of the FC games. I have bought all FC games as soon as they come out since FC3. I liked three but I still think 4 is the peak of this series. I see it as 4 perfecting what was already good in 3. Three had flaws such as below average visuals and really really clunky controls. I think 4 was a huge improvement in a much more vivid environment. 5 and 6 change the formula up beyond what I can call an improvement. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed them still. But I don’t think they are as good as 4. I do appreciate 6 returning to a more realistic situation. I know this is gonna get poopooed but I’m also a guy who loved primal so I guess I’m the strange one.
Honestly as much as I despise the game because of the malaria bs I think it really deserves a remake to make it play smoother like fc3 and after but look better to add to the realism of malaria guns breaking and the whole vibe of being a lone survivor on a truly deadly tropical island

I fell in love with the FC series when FC3 came out. It is still my favorite FC game because of the setting, the music and of course Vaas.
I have not tackled FC1 and FC2. I did not know how bad FC2 is (in terms of multiplayer). I did not know there was a multiplayer part that is so ridiculous. But I also did not know about the cool villain in this game. I enjoy the review from a trophy hunter’s perspective. I liked your love for the game.
I probably will never finish the whole series, because of the 2nd game’s multiplayer. I have no nostalgic feelings for the 1st Far Cry.
But I am looking forward to Far Cry 6. I hope the story is a bit more tight than FC5. I loved the setting in FC5 but the missions were too lose. You mentioned it. It felt generic. That is exactly what I felt. I did not feel the urge to get to the end which is a bad sign to me.
I liked Primal because of the base building feature and the fresh setting.

honestly an under appreciated game series. most people that dog it nowadays actually grew up playing them including me. big props for shouting out 5's soundtrack aswell
The biggest problem with far cry these days is if you've played 3, 4 etc and you play a new title such as 6, it feels like the same game overall. While I do agree to some extent I do think alot of the hate pushed towards far cry is undeserved
Ubi games are among the most overrated games out there. It's literally the same framework for every single franchise and every game is filled to the brim with meaningless chores. The writing is bogstandard, acting is mediocre and gameplay is okayish but hampered by all the meaningless filler content. Not even talking about the absurd ways they use skilltrees...Ubi wouldn;t know a good skilltree if it hit them in the face. High production value doesn't mean good game. It's creatively bankrupt and the rise of mtx, season passes and all that bs made it even worse. FC is almost as bad as Watch Dogs when it comes to the Ubi copy/paste jobs.
I have so much respect for this man since, with the exception of 1 and 2, I have platinums every single Far Cry Game.

I definitely agree that Far Cry 5 has the best soundtracks if any Far Cry game. From main menu music, to loading music, and then the combat music, and even the radio.
What a great video, I've only played 3-5 and personally enjoyed them all for different reasons but I'm glad we agree on 5s soundtrack it really did make me want to keep playing even if the missions and characters weren't the most interesting
Far cry 2 is really unique back when 2008, Ubisoft really putting passion and love in this one. It feels like a escape from tarkov made by Ubisoft.
Btw the jackal is actually the main character in FC 1.
that last one is a theory, not confirmed by Ubi. It is more canonical that Assassin's Creed shares a universe with FC due to an easter egg in FC3 and FC5.
Also, I partially agree on Ubi by 2008 put passion into their game but I believe that FC2 was too detailed and immersive was that Ubi was trying to test their version of the Crytek engine, the Dunia, which is why so hardware intensive for its time.

I understand your points about the dire setting and how characters should act like it however compared to when everyone was in a dire situation in FC2 it was just everyday life at this point for other characters in FC 5 and 4
This is incredible, I maybe be one of the few people to achievement complete every single one on xbox, as i am getting close I am missing Far Cry 2’s soldier of misfortune, but i do have about 15 hours worth of work into that so far. I need a few more of the co-op achievements for Far Cry 3 xbox 360 and need to finish the final dlc for Far Cry 6, but i have finished the first 3 of escaping each of the villains minds. I have a few trophies left and the dlc on Far Cry 4 xbox 360, and I have only the single player left for Instincts Predator. Other than those I have all of Primal left as I will play it as a reward for completing the rest! I have classic,3 classic edition, both blood dragons, 4 on the xbox one, 5 +all dlc, and new dawn 100% so far! Wish me luck and outstanding job completing all of them!
Man, there is something to be said about trophy difficulty.
IMO difficulty comes down to the individual skill and playtime.
Trophies like Fortnite are in my 10/10 difficulty cause the amount of time is simply baffling.
And then there is the games with dead multiplayer. In this video that was Far Cry 2, the best part of the video.
But from my experience, my personal trophy that I will never bother getting is The Last of Us factions.
No way am I wasting time, boosting that is also a days long affair.
You should give factions a try, the trophies are a bit of grind indeed but you'd be surprised at how much fun that game's multiplayer can be.

I have everyone as well even primal, classic, new dawn and blood dragon. All except farcry 6, will get to it soon. I finally platinumed FC2 this year. Your boosting footage brought back some brutal memories, it took me about 3 months of self boosting, and those diamonds in the campaign are a headache. I credit FC3 on PS3 for getting me into trophy hunting was one of my first plats.
Back in the day, FC2 was a real vibe for me. Love this black sheep so much.

FC2 is one of the games I got the fondest memories of. Mainly playing multiplayer maps made by friends or by myself. Many friends got the game because it came with an xbox 360 bundle together with halo 3 and gow 2
I just love FC4 more than FC3 and FC2 is probably my fav, maybe even side by side with FC4, even tho I understand that FC3 is amazing.
FC4 is welcoming, more variety, great side quests, great story, etc. Good franchise, a shame what it became.

The only thing I didn't like about the video was calling Joseph Seed a Vaas ripoff. I don't see how he can be interpreted as Vaas at all. Other than that this video is incredible. Found the channel through your 3 nearly impossible gaming challenges video and it's actually the video that got me to play Celeste in the first place
Ripoff as in he's another unhinged villain that follows you throughout the game. He's not the exact same obv but i think its clear that vaas was the blueprint for creating joseph. and ty for the compliment

The whole franchise is easy, in single player, the second they make you do multiplayer trophies, it’s over
I never understood the hate for FC 2. Ubisoft wanted to craft a brutal open world game with somewhat realistic gameplay in terms of difficulty. Your character is really squishy, no minimap period, no directional arrows telling you where you're being shot at from. Sure, the weapons degrade way too fast and they're also hitscan. But I always just chalk them up to degradation being a balancing decision and hitscan being much easier to program, especially for 2008. Heck, you can even argue it was released too early with the current popularity of first person survival games with more realistic and unforgiving mechanics like Sons of the Forest. Ubisoft really could remaster it a bit and rerelease it to probably a much warmer reception now than in 2008.
It's one of the main reasons I still have my launch PS3. So I can easily jump into it whenever I get the urge to play the game I still consider my favorite FPS of all time. Okami will probably always be my GOAT. But FC 2 makes a strong case for 2nd place.
To be fair, FC6 which you didn’t have in your video of course, is easily my favorite one. It may be a hot take, but I just love it. Also the platinum trophy for FC6 is sooo enjoyable

I loved far cry 5’s soundtrack as well. I loved the songs Help me faith, Build a castle and Only you the most but hell all of them were good those are probably my favorites though.

Okay, I haven't played any of these games so I'm obviously not gonna act like this is fact because I obviously don't know the ingame lore/cutscenes, but from what you described, Far Cry 2's villian's change of heart seemed pretty supported most of the way, aside from the diamond theft in the middle, he shows mercy the first encounter, and saves your life the second. From what you described, it seemed like he was in a similar situation to you, doing work for both sides and eventually realized a way to end the war.
It just felt random to me that it was this war specifically that made him change his mind. After all, he's been involved in so many wars before, I can't imagine that this one gave him any new perspectives. Thats why it felt contrived to me, but this can be argued against as well. I likes this video a lot. I' ve only played 3 (I loved it but hated the ending) and Blood Dragon (loved the aesthetics and not taking damage from falling) and now I really wanna play 2: I've heard a lot of things about this game and how it created the emergent gameplay so popular nowadays, and I'm intrigued about the story and how it unfolds. I really like his creative director, Clint Hooking, who has wrote a lot against the ludonarrative disonance and how to scape it, and it appears he achieved his goal! Thank four your work
I love FC2 but I will say if you play it for the story you'll be disappointed, it's kind of a mess lol. Still worth the playthrough though due to the beautiful world and immersive gameplay

Far cry was also the first set of games that got me into trophy hunting with me personally primal is what caught my eye for many reasons a big one being no multi-player trophies but I loved it and all of the far cry games after
I personally loved both half’s of far cry 3 and enjoyed both vaas and Hoyt as a character both were great

Man i aslo did the far cry 2 plat like 4 years ago and I and my 2 buddys spent the whole christmas holidays grinding this mp stuff out. I also organzized a whole 16 man group for the war party trophy. So i really can relate to your achievement.

Farcry new dawn was the most fun I had in a farcry game since I first got Farcry for Christmas. I played it in Co-op and literally never took it seriously and took it for face value as being a cash grab. I feel bad for people who played this solo or as "the next Farcry". It's a good to mess around with friends because how buggy and bad it is.
My favorite song in FC5 is keep your rifle by your side 🤣

I have never met anyone with my opinion of the FC games. I have bought all FC games as soon as they come out since FC3. I liked three but I still think 4 is the peak of this series. I see it as 4 perfecting what was already good in 3. Three had flaws such as below average visuals and really really clunky controls. I think 4 was a huge improvement in a much more vivid environment. 5 and 6 change the formula up beyond what I can call an improvement. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed them still. But I don’t think they are as good as 4. I do appreciate 6 returning to a more realistic situation. I know this is gonna get poopooed but I’m also a guy who loved primal so I guess I’m the strange one.

I play every FC thats released in a vain attempt to get the feels I had playing FC2.
I did the co-op achievements for Far Cry 3 solo with two controllers on Xbox 360, it wasn’t too difficult.
