Linuxfx 11 | The Most Convincing Windows 11 Look Alike

  • Linuxfx is an Ubuntu based distribution that aims to be a mirror image of Windows. I first looked at this distribution a long time ago but since then its had some major updates. The version we are looking at today uses a heavily modified KDE Plasma to achieve its Windows 11 look and feel. Some of the standout features of this release are Android support, a virtual assistant, advanced WINE support and more.

Are users still not getting their install key after paying?

Has this been happening to users? I don't recommend users pay for the Pro edition but if they do and they aren't getting what they've paid for that's totally unacceptable.

Unfortunately most people go to Linux because they don't want to have things like activating windows. I don't know who in their right mind would want to pay for an activation for a Linux distribution. And given the current user friendliness demonstrated in your video, it seems insane to pay for it. Especially because this distribution seems to be smashed together and it certainly isn't stable enough to be in a corporate environment

Ok so you need to understand that this is a Brazilian distribution, windows keys are so much expensive here and people use pirate copys of windows, so they get viruses, malwares, trojans, adwares etc.. this is a distribution to put on you aunt, mom, dad pc's, that they uses only for internet stuff, and they will not complain because its just like windows and will not get viruses, cloned credit cards and other bad stuff that come with all the vulnerability of an pirate windows install.

Thanx for the video. I had a play with this a couple of months ago on an external USB drive. Looked and worked fine but ran into an issue in that it said that there was a system update but it never happened so I gave up on it. Surprized that M$ hasn't sued them into bankruptcy. It's rather rich of them to claim all this android comparability when you have to download the Android app and configure everything itself. Basically, they just give you a window saying: Download an Android OS to be able to use Android. Pretty much everything else is pretty much just standard linux with perhaps a different looking window.
As for assistant it is totally useless if all you can do is open the assistant but can't run any commands. I have a feeling a similar experience would present itself if you wanted to run a native Win app.... i.e. have to set up everything yourself. To me LinuxFX looks v. nice but falls very very short of what it is trying to market itself as.
