Very good report of this Machine, and I like the fact they took it to Utah to let it out of the stable! I LOVE it.

Picking up New Maverick Trail This Friday and this report is the most accurate so far from sitting in it and being a large guy. Tight on the left shoulder but still very roomy in other regards. Heading to Northern Ontario Canada for first ride. Great report.

As an owner of a 1000 DPS I can say that this machine has far more pros than cons it really does feel controllable almost like the machine is an extension of your body and as they said its very consistent with how it handles turns and rough terrain I'm extremely satisfied with it and I'm a Polaris guy, all I have to say is Polaris needs to step up their game because they lost a sale to this machine.

thomas ellis I am in the market for a 50 inch and I went to look at both can am and Polaris last week ... I was so disappointed in how cheap the Polaris was in person. It just felt cheap in every aspect

@@greygoose4x46 Polaris performs and handles well, but they use cheaper materials and designs that have more in common with the Chinese brands. The Maverick Trail is definitely at the top of this class, but if you haven't already, take a look at the Textron Wildcat Trail. It's pretty spartan compared to the Can Am, but it's a sheer blast to drive, handles and sounds great, and is quite responsive. It's suspension is very plush compared to the MT as well. I think your choice depends on what type of terrain you ride on.

Awesome machine, with fit & finish, quality materials, interior design, and overall refinement way beyond the RZR. Unfortunately the rear suspension barely moves in normal driving, making it a bit rough and skittish on chatter bumps.

I have one. The front locker still sucks big time QE or not. Seems they fixed that in the new Sport but not the 2019 Trail. As a result I almost hate mine. Wish I had bought the RZR instead. BTW my wife has a Rzr. I ride a lot of Rocky Mountains (rocks) Moab (rocks) and forest trails in SW Colorado, Moab etc. This is our 5th SxS unit.

Is it my imagination, or do these look like there is no give in the suspension? Seems extremely rough.

Mine was really stiff. When I removed the rear sway bar, the suspension dropped 1.5". The darn sway bar was actually supporting weight.

This truely is all about length with. To go threw trails. That quads do. It no matter what eles its 100 + parts to add on. It gets truley expensive. I talking because im a owner. They will never make another 50". So i go one. At 95". Its perfect. Then i got an XMR 1000r quad. They dont see winter or mud there mint..

Never heard of “50 inch trails” up here in Quebec. Am I the only one? I think this is just a US thing.

Your youtube video showed up on a crochet website where I wasn't expecting sound at all and your stupid guitar intro scared the frick outta me. You should probably adjust your advertising strategy, my boys.

Couldn't make it to the review part. The music in the first minute is a terrible choice for an action promo. Try again.

There's not going to be any big Thrills with only 75 horsepower.

    • @kong3
      @kong3 6 ปีที่แล้ว +4

Curtis Bull Wrong. Tight trails you can't even use all the hp. That's what makes the Trails fun. Bored? Go faster.

I have a 17 renegade 1000, 89hp, weighing several hundred pounds less, and I use fully throttle all the time in tight mountain trails. Northern idaho. And what if a guy wants to buy a machine to do a little bit of everything, like some open desert and sand dunes? Then without a doubt this thing isn't going to have near the power that it needs. Absolutely stupid to make machine several hundred pounds heavier and have less horsepower than their ATVs.

bullsh.t...why NOT ?? had a wildcat trail - was super fun to ride! youre right about the weight- so choose a light machine ! ;-)

Sounds like you shouldn't be riding because nothing will seem to excite you. Find another hobby? Geez.

75hp is plenty for me, when I was little 20 hp and 40mph top speeds out of 400 class atvs which were the cream of the crop at the time was plenty for us to have fun on
