Just picked up a whole 5500 system, 6500 beomaster and beogram CD and a beocenter 7700 with 4 beolab penta's today, going to be sick when it's all set up!

I bought a B&O 5000 system in 1981,, its stayed with me ever since ,but I,v not used it since about 1995,,,, I,m intending to recommission. It comes with a lovely set of 50w rosewood bookshelf speakers,,, they need restoring... The main drawback with this system is positioning in your room...I,v no idea where I,m going to put the dam thing...

Nice one! If. Iplug in a Beocord 5000 cassette player or an RX2 vinyl would they work? Also having the MCP 5500

Hey Feeling Retro,
I also just received the MCP 5500, but it doesn't seem to connect to my beosystem. The MCP says NO CONTACT, and i don't know how to fix it. Can you help?

I’ve got the receiver but no Master Control panel. Any luck of using the system without the Panel?

You can use the Beolink 1000 or Beo4
