Best Video on this Mount. Nobody else noted the DIRECTION of the mount. Had a "Mechanic" install all new motor mounts in my 03 a few years ago due to a broken Front Mount. Car still had a bit of a vibration since. I checked the Direction of this mount and sure enough it's Backwards!!! Bought a new mount and going out in the AM and flip it myself. BTW the Mount has a built in Tilt to it, so if it's flipped there is a half an inch Deflection so the Bolt has to draw the Mount Bracket to the Engine Bracket. Bet thats whats causing the vibration. THANKS for the DETAIL!!!!!! (Wish you were my Neighbor!)
I had to find a way to bump up the leverage by extending the moment arm on my wrench for the 17s, but otherwise, this repair is smooth as butter. Thanks for the video!
Thank you brother for being thorough on the importance of using the hydraulic jack and how much to lift the vehicle without damaging more components video was great thank you again.
Do you think this is the cause of a right torque steer and sound going over bumps on the right side? I’ve already replaced the struts and had the ball joints and control arm inspected.
Thank you Sir for the awesome video! Being a bigger guy I took out the battery and the assembly to get to the bottom cooling fan bolts. My fat arm didn't fit to well. Also, i got a couple engine mounts from O'reilly's and the bolt holes didn't line up. Did you get your mounts from the dealership or a parts store? Thanks again and keep making your video's - they're much appreciated!
THANKS for the compliment!!! Hey, you do what you have to do to get the job done, so GREAT JOB! We got the mounts from our local parts store (Fisher Auto Parts) which carry better brand parts than the others.
@@OnlineAutoRepairVideos Thanks for the reply. I watched both your video's on the Front and Front Right mounts, and changed them both. I meant to write my comment on your "Front" mount video post. Anyway, Thanks again and take care.
I see you made videos on the front right and the front motor mount, have you made videos on the other 3? if so they would help me out a ton, great content, cheers!
Thanks on that comment! Here are all the Honda videos we have, hopefully you find what you need; and if not, maybe one day we will get a customer with that issue. th-cam.com/video/MV5d1qwSu2c/w-d-xo.html
Great video like always! Do you have any suggestions on how to get the 2 17mm bolts loose? I tried WD40, breaker bar, 250 ft-lb 1/2 impact wrench. They just won’t budge. Any suggestions will be appreciated. Thanks!
HI. I watched several of your videos on the Santa Fe and found them very helpful. Do you have any brand you do and do not recommend for the Santa Fe motor mounts? Thank you!
@@OnlineAutoRepairVideos Thank you so much! I was actually looking at Beck arnley but I wanted to double-check with someone I trust. 🌓 Have a great day.
Aye,Timmy I just watch this f150 ecoboost p0300 n the guy put in the spark plug dry n than used a electronic ratchet to tighten,em down what u think is that safe? lol
He must have been doing this field for a while, because it is very possible to put the spark plugs in with an electronic, or even an air ratchet, when you know when to STOP, or you have an electric ratchet that has a torque setting. Now as far as not using any anti-seize, that's asking for trouble down the road.
Hey I’ve been working on cars for ten years and stumbled across this video. Great explanation of it all!
Glad it was helpful, THANKS!
Very cool guy. His explaining method is like a teacher. His smile is Awesome.
Thanks! 😃

Would this mount cause my car to kick as it goes from first to second gear ?....it's a hard kick
There is a slim possibility, but highly unlikely.

@@OnlineAutoRepairVideos do i need to replace all motor mounts on my 2009 accord and how many is there to replace? Thanks
you only need to replace them if they are broken. Not sure on a 2009, your local auto parts store can tell you how many your vehicle has.
I dont even own a car but I'm watching... very entertaining...jk i do have a car lol
LOL!
Great vid...makin it look easy. Thanks for sharing.

Dang it! Caught me nappin'.
@Cooter I do need my rest but in my own defense, and my excitement to be first, my narcolepsy took over.
School Timmy
Nice easy one. That engine must have been rough, especially at idle.
Yep, you did feel that rumble.
Honda used those power steering fluid reservoirs for 20 years I bet
Most of them are easy to replace. The biggest problem is realizing that your motor mount is broke.
Sure is, a lot of people can't tell.
Very true, i thought it was my suspension or engine, until i relazed the gash on the mount an shaking when id turn the key
Swallowed a bug LOL
LOL!!
