I want to say it's 8mm, but I can't confirm that. If it's not 8, then it's 7. My advice would be to buy a good quality full set of single hex keys. They are not to expensive and are very handy. 👍
Hi mate, have you ever changed the oil on one with a rival bash plate? I am looking to see if there is any way I can change the oil without taking the bash plate off and getting oil anywhere on my V6!
I haven't but am keen on purchasing a rival bar. My advice would be to buy an oil extractor vacuum pump, under $100 from supercheap. Goes down the dipstick tube and sucks the oil out. 👍
@@Bigrig90 yes they are good, believe some dealers even use them. Lot of people use them on the touregs due to the time consuming job of removing all the plastic undertrays.
@@craigslistofprojects3451 I just did it myself, but the supplier gave me the wrong carterbolt! Ofcourse i used the original one. Altho mine looks different then yours, it has beveled inside and NO washer. Hopefully it doesn't start leaking now. But i got some spairs on the way from the dealer.
Be carefull when reset the oil service mode apple car play can turn in black screen mode. To fix this you have to press 20 seconds the volume botton and reset your iPhone.
Hi Alexandru, yes I wanted to change the fuel filter but at the time of the service they hadn't one fuel filter available in the whole of W.A. I will change it next time along with diff oils. 👍

Can you put an oil extractor down inside motor or does it only work in dip stick ?
@@jb2481 only meant for the dipstick tube. Easiest route straight to the oil pan 👍
