I found myself tearing up here and there as I was editing too. I noticed her view from down low, and it hit me how tiny she really is. It was such a surprise to see things from her perspective that I don't normally notice, even though we're in the same room together..
I love how you said she doesn’t do things magically on her own still but doing things collaboratively is still the way to go. I originally tried teaching my little kids (3, 4) doing everything independently like getting dressed, cleaning messes etc… and they were able to do it with reminders, but realized at this age, they much rather do stuff together with parents- it’s bonding connecting time and they are just so much happier getting thru the day. And stuff gets done faster too.
Hazie, it's a pleasure seeing you with the children! 💗 I think you're doing an amazing mum's job to help them discover the world in such a unique and friendly way! My daughter is now 5 weeks old and I would like to do the same for her! 💗
Can you please share your kid friendly microwave carrot bread recipe? I have looked online and haven't found it... thank you for your very informative videos. 😊
I haven't had time to read any books on Montessori, but I too teach my little girl things all around the house and explain why we do them, and then she gets to try if she wants too. She too loves picking out flowers and checking fruit and vegetables for whether they are as they should or not :) She also loves shopping with me, but by herself and come back with clean yoghurt, frukt, nuts and other healthy foods - never any candy, as she'd rather sit on the store floor and flip through the comics that are across the isle 😊
Hi Hazie, Love all your videos. I have been trying to do Montessori with my kids too. I have a daughter a little younger than Alina and a son a little older than Elijah. It is so wonderful to see all the things you do and it is great inspiration for me. What was Elijah up to during most of this video?
Thank you so much for your kind words and for following along with our Montessori journey! As I mentioned in the video, we dropped Elijah off at childcare for half a day, but he was also happily playing on his own while we were cooking 🙂
@@hazieandmotherhood Oh I must have missed that part about childcare. Thank you for taking the time to reply anyway. It looks like you guys had a wonderful day ☺
I have two daughters, the oldest is almost 4 years old & the youngest is 18 months old. They help me with chores without me having to ask 😅. I think it is the cutest thing and also developing responsibility at a young age 😊.
Love the POV type videos! Thanks for sharing 😊 Would you happen to know the manufacturer of Alina’s cubby house please? Currently looking for a cubby for our daughter (3 next month) and this looks like it would fit our backyard space well!
Hi! We got our cubbyhouse from Hide & Seek Kids! I have a video of painting and installing the cubbyhouse. It took me weeks and weeks to paint this thing, so I hope you watch the video before making a purchase😅 th-cam.com/video/nCbOtUTC7DA/w-d-xo.html
@@hazieandmotherhood amazing thank you! Haha thanks for the heads up! It’s great they come raw so you can paint as you like, but yes l could see how it would be very time consuming 😅
After seeing her POV I cried. Because I also have an almost 4 year old. And this make me sees how they would see everything and it's so precious.

Alina has grown so much. It's so beautiful and heartwarming to watch Alina happily doing chores with you.

The way you are raising your children is absolutely amazing. You have inspired me to do the same. Expecting mom here ❤
The camera takes ‘seeing the world through your child’s eyes’ to the next level! So cool!

I really liked this idea with the little camera! It was the best advertising as it could be. Great job!

So fun seeing her viewpoint. It’s been so fun seeing how much she has grown!
What a cute video. Love it. Getting kids involved in housework is a win win for both parents and kids.
