This game was so great, i agree with you, i love to play it once in a while in Dolphin,but we have to recognize its biggest sin, it used the GoldenEye name to advertise it as a game related to the N64 gem but it was something completely different to the n64 , don't get me wrong the game was and still is amazing but that thing about the name played against the title reputation Also is kinda hard to get something new about this game like a remaster or something since it is made by EA and i think ea lost the 007 license to release games, but hey, hope is the last thing that dies🥲 Sorry if my English is bad😅

This game I see lack some things like going through long levels to retrieve one thing. But is still fun. Because of what you have to do like servive. That is like the new mission going through every level without dying once you win the game.
As awesome and unique as the premise was for this game, it was the unwillingness to modernize certain parts and give characters like Bond a more extensive role as they did the protagonist. This also could have been an opportunity to bring back Trevelyan. But nonetheless it was a dope ass game for the time.
If you're talking about the image in the video, that's not James Bond, thats the player character, his gun has a Spectre symbol on it because he works for them
@@steveedwards227 Where did you get Johnathan from in the manual it just refers to him as Mr Hunter I connected it with the theme/idea of a rogue agent and since the only other shown rougue agent in the series that impacts the plot I can remember is from Goldeneye, being Alec Trevelyan (006) I assumed he was the latest 006 agent named Alec Hunter. I also assumed 006 agents are ones at risk of going rogue (which I maybe could word and explain better but can't think how right now) witch would fit with the Thematic of James Bond lore imo.

game is ungodly mid/bad and boring at best despite the developers having the best of intentions, end credits song goes hard in a confusing way that could only happen in 2004 before game budgets got completely out of control

The combat was one of the best aspects of the game and because of how fast it is and how many elements are in it, it still keeps it fun to this day

game wasent bad it was just hard as hell even on easy you need skills to beat it. i just beat it for the first time since i bought it.
It’s not bad, story is mediocre at best, but the gameplay can be really fun with all the weapons combinations and the eye powers.
