Thanks so much for watching! Just FYI -- I was getting paranoid about having a "fake" company page on LinkedIn, so I deactivated the Corporate Cookies page just before publishing this video. But Corporate Cookies will live on in our memories. 🍪
They should have a company created just for Corporates so that they can sell their cookies and for every cookie sold, every cookie on our desktops will be deleted.
@@Fredricksaviour That is so funny! I never thought of it that way! 😀
Thanks for the guide
@@sinonetwork You're welcome!
When you have some issues on Social Media;
#Facebook: They restrict your account and inform you to remove it
#Twitter: They restrict your account and ask to remove
#Linkedin: you do not know why your account is blocked and no information, straight away they ask for Government ID.
Thank you: WELL DONE!
Your voice was clear, your diction impeccable, your timing was tightly edited, and your illustrations were spot on! Linked in hadn't changed any of the screens since you recorded this 9 months ago.
You've gotten another well-deserved "thumbs up" and another subscriber.

I don't know if someone already mentioned this, but a way to get the Custom Button to save and to complete that step is to toggle the option to Off, Save the changes, toggle it back On, and save that change.

I‘m so glad you liked it!
I really liked your video - hit liked and subscribed - but I have a question: When setting up the corporate page on Linkedin you said it would give you an option to set up a URL. My question is do I have to buy a domain first? or will Linkedin just assign it to me when I claim it? looking forward to your kind reply.
Thanks for asking, Carlos! LinkedIn will just assign the URL to you when you claim it. There isn't anything else you have to do, fortunately! (And thank you for liking and subscribing!)
Thank you.
You‘re welcome!
That was terrific! I actually hope you will make that into a real company. You would ROCK it !
Thank you! I originally planned to do "Corporate Cupcakes" for this video, but it turns out that that company exists. 🧁
Great video, thanks.
You're very welcome! ☺️
Brooke, Your video's are the best by far. I've set up my company page after listening to you a few weeks ago and having a personal LinkedIn page for the past few years. Why aren't my posts on my personal page auto filled on my company page and visa versa? It seems backwards to post more on personal page for business products. fred
Thanks for your kind words, and you asked a good question! The only thing I can think of is that LinkedIn emulates in-person networking…we „sell“ through our personal brand by building relationships and sharing business-related, valuable information that highlights our expertise. If you want to post to both your personal page and business page at the same time, I recommend using a tool like Buffer. You can probably use the free version just fine. 🙂
Good Job
Thank you!
Do you have a tutorial on how to add affiliate page on my company page?
The Parent Company and Subsidiary thing
Thanks for asking! I don't have a tutorial, but type in "Affiliated LinkedIn Page" in LinkedIn's help center and you'll get the info you need. Best of luck!
The video was very helpful, Thank you, but I don't know how to get to that content tab you were talking about close to the end of the video.
Please help me out
Thanks for asking! Unfortunately that content tab doesn’t exist anymore.
Thank you for giving details about starting a company page, plz can I know if incase in future I would like to deactivate my personal account and if I'm the one who started the company page, would it affect the existing of the company page if I deleted my personal account?
Thanks for asking! If you delete your personal account, you'll have no way of accessing your company page unless you've already assigned someone else as a Super Admin (I created a more updated video last year on how to assign admins, if you'd like to check that out).
Perfect 👍
Thank you, Abimo!
Thanks for the awesome guide! I have a quick question - do you have a video made for how to create Life page on LinkedIn? Please help!!!! Thank you.
Thank you so much for asking about that. Unfortunately, I don’t have a video on the Life tab. I know it’s part of Career pages, which you have to pay for, but that’s as far as my knowledge goes! I’m much better at giving advice on all the organic (free) ways to reach people on LinkedIn. Sorry I couldn’t be of more help!
Thanks a lot for this! Please Can You tell me some little more that how to create folders on linkedin profile or page??
Thank you! I‘m not aware of folders on LinkedIn. Can you describe it a bit more?
@@DelawareShoutOut
Actually we can create folders on facebook and facebook give us theirself folders on facebook like folder of all profile pictuers and folder of our uploaded cover photos. Folder called mobile uploads and we can also create much more folders of any name in facebook ownself.
Similarly, I want to to create folders in linkedin's profile to organise my posts on different topics in different folders. But don't know that Linkedin provide us this feature or not.
Anyways, When I searched on google that how to create fodlers on linkedin, Google showed this message in front.
" 1. On a Profile page, go to the Recruiting Tools and click the Folder icon. 2. Click + Create new. "
But I think there is no option on linkedin to create new folder and there is no folder icon.
I also did not found any Recruiting Tools.
So I want to see a video of creating new folders in linkedin if this possible.
So I request you to search on this and if possible so please make a video on this topic that how to create new folders on linkedin.
I can assure that that video will ve so beneficial for you and all of us.
Thank You!
Great & to the point - thanks. Question: I have my normal! LinkedIn page with all my colleouges and professional contact. Now I wonder who can see my company page and it's content? How can I keep these two communities completely separate?
Thanks for asking! Unless you (1) actively invite your personal connections to follow your company page or (2) list your company page in the Experience section of your personal profile, people won't know you're connected to that company page, and you can keep them separate. I hope that helps!
Finally I got really company page solution. I think you deserve more views and subscribe, but I don't know why you are not improving your SEO section!! 😢 best wishes for your channel ❤❤
Thanks so much for your comments! Honestly, for the longest time I wasn't picking the right topics to do videos on, and that's why my channel is only now starting to pick up steam. That's my bad! As for SEO, I've been in lots of TH-cam training courses and have hired mentors who have all told me that the SEO section doesn't really contribute anymore to getting the videos in front of more people. Even TH-cam says that now in the fine print. Of course, you're the one with lots more subscribers than I have, so who am I to say that? :-)
@@DelawareShoutOut SEO also import until missmatch with your video topic. For your example suppose you made educational video but did SEO fitness related then it will not good for TH-cam search engine. I understand your concern, I'm running 10/20 TH-cam channel for experimental purposes, which method good for TH-cam ranking.
I'm also agree with be because you are a very experienced person i have seen, your teaching skill amazing, I have noticed you are recently quite busy that's why not making regular videos that is main point. TH-cam algorithm not suggesting your video new people.
Make videos daily basis at least make 1 short video each day I'm forcing you because of you are making quality content, I have seen lots of people making non logical video and they are getting million of views and subscribe withing a short time which deserve you.
Best wishes teacher 👍
@@PigeonKingdomBd Thank you so much for your insights! I also homeschool our youngest son and run my full-time business, so that is why there are usually 2-3 weeks between videos. If I did any more than that, I would have to skip sleeping. 😃 At some point, when I have more time, I would like to post videos more frequently, as you suggested. Thank you again for taking the time to support me. That really means a lot to me!

Informative, enthusiastic and highly educational. Thank you
You‘re so welcome! 😊 I‘m glad you liked the video.
Thanks for this video! Is the content suggestions tab still an option? Sadly, I haven't been able to access this tab on my company page as an admin.
Thanks for asking! The content suggestions aren't available on my company page either. I guess not enough people were using the suggestions!
Many thanks for the video, it is informative. I do have one query. I wish to maintain a separate email id for all my social media assets how can I use it for LinkedIn? I plan to do this just in case I hire a social media manager in the future, that way I don't have to give them access to my personal mail id.
Thanks for asking, Mehran! You can simply make them an admin to your page so they don't have to have your login info.
Awesome..!! ❤️
Thank you so much!
Thank you so much. I loved your video well done!. Question though . Will my company page be completely separate from my personal page? I don’t want them connected in any way. Thanks in advance 😊
Thanks, Fran! You will have to access your company page through your personal login, but no one will know you‘re connected to the page unless you add it to the Experience section of your personal profile. I‘ve built many pages for clients completely in the background. I hope that helps!
Thank you so much
Thanks a lot
You're welcome, Muhammed!
AND THATS HOW U MAKE A VIDEO ! WOW .
Aw, thank you so much, Terniel!
Great information. Keep up the humor lol
Thanks so much, Joe!
Very clear! One question please .. If I am already been an admin of one of the company page, can I create a new company page?
Absolutely! You can create multiple company pages from the same profile. I‘ve done it many times. 🙂
I want to add the inbox option on my page. Any idea how do I add this please?
Thanks for asking! Here are the instructions from LinkedIn:
Go to your Page admin view.
Click Inbox on the left side
Click the (dot dot dot) More icon to the right of Inbox.
Select Inbox settings from the dropdown menu.
Toggle on the Message button on the right
Select at least two conversation topics.
Click Save in the upper-right corner
I hope that helps!
Thanks 🙏

Thank you for this informative video. Quick question, if I message other LinkedIn users from my company page, is the message received from me personally or from my company page? I would prefer the latter. Similarly, if I hire a VA to send messages from my company page, are those messages received as messages from my VA's personal linkedIn profile or from my company?
Much appreciated if you can explain this part which is confusing for me.
Thank you,
MJ
Thanks for asking, MJ! If you have this feature available, the messages will look like they're coming from your page, as long as its a super admin or content admin is sending the messages from the page. For some reason, I do not have this feature yet, but this is what I found in my research. Also, it looks like you can only send messages if someone sends you a message to your company page inbox first, but again, I'm guessing this based on what I'm seeing. :-) If you are experiencing something different, please let me know!
Ms. Delaware. This video has helped me set up my LI business page step by step. Fantastic up to counter 7:54 when you transfer from posting 1st post to next step. I posted in first post and I could not follow your next steps. I went back to my "home' screen. Now I don't know if I have a LI company page? Help. fred
Thanks for asking about this, Fred! If I understand correctly, after you did your first post, you were transferred to the home page. The good news is that you should definitely have a company page, based on how far you got in the process. There are 2 ways to confirm this. The first way is, on your home screen, click on “Me” in the top right corner. You’ll see a dropdown menu appear, and your company page will be there further down. The second way is to type your company page name in the search bar in the top left corner, and your page should come up in the search results. Either way, you can navigate to your page. I hope that helps! And my apologies if that part of the instructions was confusing. I didn’t mean for people to do their first post right at that moment-I just meant to point out that it was there. Thanks again for reaching out, and enjoy your weekend!
As the communications person at a new company, do I have to use my name on their personal page? Currently they have the company name on both pages
Thanks for asking, Lisa! That‘s a tricky question. I would only recommend that you take over the personal profile if you don’t already have one of your own, and in which case, change the login information so it‘s truly yours. The other option is to add your own LinkedIn profile or someone else’s profile as a super admin to the company page and then delete admin privileges from the fake personal profile, which could then be deleted altogether. To be clear, someone else’s profile needs to be super admin of the page before deleting the fake profile. I hope that makes sense!
So rich and professional this video. Akim
Thank you so much! 🙂🙏
@@DelawareShoutOut You're very welcome.
This is a great video . I wonder if you could give me some guidance. My company (I just started) has lost the signon info for their linked in account. No one knows who set it up so we can't recover it because we have no idea what email was used. Linked in is unresponsive to our inquiries.
Thanks for the kind words about the video, and thanks for asking about company page access! I think I found the solution on another website - businessbldrs (dot) com - but I can't test it out myself, because I'm already admin to the page listed in my current job experience. But here are the instructions, which hopefully will work for you and will at least clue you in to who the admin is to your page so you can narrow things down:
- On your LinkedIn profile, add and confirm your company email address.
- List your current position with the company on your profile.
- On your company page, scroll down to the “Want to help manage this page?” section.
- Click on “see admins” to see the current admins for your company page.
- As a 1st-degree connection to an admin, you can simply request to become an additional admin for the company page. If you’re not a 1st-degree connection to any company admins, you’ will need to connect with an admin first on LinkedIn.
Worst case scenario, you can build another company page, but I'd do that as a last resort, as having a second company page can cause confusion.
I hope that helps!
Great post! Here's a difficult one. Linked in says to use your real name or preferred name...what if your business is not an LLC or an INC, just you and another partner working under a fictitious name /dba (registered)? Or do you have to be an LLC or registered business to have the company page? thank you!
Thanks for asking, Pamela! The "real name" has to do with your personal LinkedIn profile from which you build your LinkedIn company page. LinkedIn just wants to make sure there aren't anonymous imposters building company pages. :-) As for the company name itself, it's totally fine if it's a DBA. I hope that helps!
@@DelawareShoutOut Excellent! It worked. As a DBA I also added sole proprietorship--hope that was ok. Now another step that has stumped me. When I hit Create page, it asked me to link /add connections to my profile and then hit create again. Huh? Does it mean to my new personal profile ? Or to the company page? thanks v much!!
Thanks for asking! Without looking at your screen, I'm assuming they're suggesting that you invite your connections to follow your page. I wouldn't know for sure unless we did a consult.
So with the bizz page, you can only connect with people that are on your personal page? Is there a way to separate the 2?
Thanks for asking. The way LinkedIn is set up, you can see only invite your personal connections to the page for free, and you can’t separate the two.
Hi, So when I try to create a company page, it says that I need to create more connections or something like that. I've had my personal account for over a month and verified through clear. How can I approach this?
Thanks for asking! I would follow their instructions and add more connections.
does this suggested content page exit? I can not find it
Yes, unfortunately it's not there anymore. Thanks for asking!
Thanks
Can we customise the industry to more specific
Thanks for asking! For now, we have to use LinkedIn's specific options. Believe me, I wish we could create custom categories!
