    "Throwing in the towel"; "be on your guard"; "staying the course" doesn't mean that the person wasnt saved in the first place but there are times that people will draw us away if we arent careful. We have to be strong and "guard our salvation with fear and trembling"- false teachers, hardships, trials, health concerns, financial worries, death of a loved on can destroy our stance, our faith. We cant slack off...
