Excellent tutorial! I'm just having a little it of trouble at the 9:00 mark, after you framed the creases, what tool/brush did you use to insert the straps? I can't find it.

Chris, Im having a real difficult time trying to add straps to my sword handle. It's actually frustrating!!!.... LOL. hopefully you can help me out with this

yea man, where did you stuck?

    • @winterramos4527

@@chrisz9345 the 1st initial step you did was a bit difficult because the handle of the sword is curvy and isn't flat like the gun handle, so the connection between points werent coming out so smoothly...though the 2nd example was actually easier because it delt with the Z-Modeler. Is there any pointers to make the the 1st example come out smooth when your dealing with different textures?
Thank you so much for replying. I'm gonna study tomorrow again with it.

@@winterramos4527 The topology example? You will need to draw more edges around the curvy areas to secure the shape. Hope that answer your question.

i have a big issue when ever i extrude it extrudes whhole poly group....it does not extrude a single section like you are doing at 4.35 mark

1.27 - 'and then just click' - nothing happens for me? it just deselects the curve. No geometry appears. Sorry, no idea what im doing here...

try clicking on the subtool instead of the canvas space.

@@chrisz9345 same problem but even when i click on the subtool, the curve just disappears

@@kineticraptor3318 For me only half of the wrap is there, it doesn't completely go around the shape and help would be appreciated
