    I have been singing for many years. I even have taken voice lesson. However, for some strange reason I have never encountered this information. With one tip I am able to make notes I've always wanted to reach but haven't been able to. Thanks so much!!!!!

    Thank you for this amazing lesson. I've only practiced one or two times but was shocked to discover when singing yesterday a word that was F4# and held, with some vibrato, my vocal pitch monitor informed me I also hit F5# in places. I didn't try to do that, it just happened naturally and wasn't remotely strained or forced. I'm blown away at how this one lesson has changed / is improving, my voice. You are a great teacher.

    Hi!
    I've been taking singing lessons for over a year now and want to perform Gary Moore songs.
    Could you please record a video for a male vocal to get those G, A, B of the 4th octave with a chest resonance?
    I still find it difficult to last long in that upper range. It's very hard to be there and it does not sound as clear and resonant as for instane E.
    Switching to a mix or a head voice helps to feel free and get's back the clarity, but it sounds shallow without a chest.
    Thank you so much!

    • @AngiesVocals
      @AngiesVocals  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hi. Thanks for your comment. I can see if we can pop that on the list for a filming day soon. In the meantime have a look at the video we did on an Ed Sheeran song that went through that area - we used a few tools to help you understand how to find that area. If you are finding it difficult up there it means you still have too much chest or need more pharyngeal to help balance your mix (that nasally twang helps with accessing more of this while learning) there's a few things that will reduce that but bottom line if you are singing in mix that top area is free, powerful and the longer you sing the stronger and more effortless it gets.

    • @AngiesVocals
      @AngiesVocals  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Hey :) love you are getting so much from this. Do great question. Do everyone biologically has 4.5-5 octaves - but most of us don’t know how to access it. You are able to navigate 3 octaves lightly which is great. But to get volume it requires you to learn how to use the muscles in a different way which requires the fattening of the vocal folds as they stretch longer for the higher notes. Most people need to learn how to do this. It’s not intuitive.

    • @pothoulantouma2102
      @pothoulantouma2102 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@AngiesVocals Thank you very much for raking the time to reply. See... I am a junior in vocal lessons yet, but I am naturally curious and like to learn things in depth. 😊 I am still trying to "stretch" my voice (muscle wise) . But the roll tip made a difference!

    • @AngiesVocals

    • @AngiesVocals
      @AngiesVocals  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hi and thankyou for your question. Without doing a vocal assessment it’s tricky too say but if you practice singing with your tongue out it should start to reduce the shakiness in the low notes and might give you more control on the higher ones too. Let me know how you go. Angie

    could you demonstrate the sirening up but then sing some words up there please in mixed voice, I find it difficult to connect what you are doing with actual singing. I'm male and wanting to sing higher in mixed voice. Hi Chris. Thanks for your message. Yes. I can demonstrate that for you. Getting stuck at E/F4 is very common and is easier to fix than you think. There are a few things we need to unlock for that. Generally there are 5 things going on that need to be addressed.

    • @AngiesVocals

      @@AngiesVocals interesting, may i ask what i can do in this situation?

    • @AngiesVocals
      @AngiesVocals  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes so you need to teach the head and chest to work together - less pressure and squeezing in chest. It’s very counter intuitive - some people need to go back to falsetto to reset and learn from very light mix. But at the moment it means you are pulling chest all the way to G4. This means you need to start adjusting muscle pressure from the B3/C4
