    Very helpful visualization for me at least. everybody is on different levels, and some of us need to work hard with the most basic concepts before trying to progress further to the more challenging. don't give up 🎉 private lessons are a thing ppl!

    This is a beautiful explanation! I always tried to force the voice forward bc I’ve always heard of forward placement, but I’ve NEVER thought to roll the voice back for the high notes! That’s actually crazy what a difference that makes when I experiment with it! I gained so many notes I didn’t know I had by actually changing my ideas of placement. I’d been trying to sing high notes in the low note placement you described, more in the mouth space rather than the soft palette space.

    How do i actually place the high notes backwards without muffling the sound…cause if i go backwards it’s sounds like a muffled high note…when i do head voice(it feels backwards) it’s very powerful though…but when i try to belt the head voice note…it still sounds like head voice but whiny and bright but muffled. So its harder. (I have been working on mixed voice for 7 months too) im not sure

    • @AngiesVocals
      @AngiesVocals 23 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา

      There is a mix of both front and back at the save time. Most people focus on one or the other but it needs both at the same time. You may need to add some phyrangeal in (nasty) or try some fry to neutralise the larynx. Let me know how you go.

    • @AngiesVocals

      Hi Simon. Yes it feels like that for most people.. if you can’t belt them then you are singing high notes in more of a falsetto then head voice as head voice is powerful. I’ve just done a video for you demonstrating. Should be out soon. 😊

      Good evening from France, Angy. Thank you very much for those tips again. Can we get support from France? There is a great exercise with a candle. You blow on the candle to lay down the flame without blowing off the flame. I should do it every time before I sing... But sometimes I want to sing to quickly...😅 Have a wonderful day. @@AngiesVocals It's a great tip. Yesterday it was great, but today I was tired as waiking up and I sang for at least 6 hours. I started to sing a few songs then I was working on "if you love me" Brownstone" and recorded the background vocals as well, so now my voice is tired. I think It's natural: first bad sleep and singing hard song for to much hours... Do you agree? We can't sing 4 octaves and a half for to much hours?

    • @AngiesVocals
      @AngiesVocals 23 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Ah wow. Yes that’s a lot of singing when trying a new technique. Were your ears/head phones mixed full and warm? They should sound like when you cup your ears and sing it in a bathroom, this reduces muscle/tongue tension faster. But yes technically if you are singing correctly and in voice freedom it should get better the longer you sing. 😊🎉🎉 but that can take a while to attain.. but it’s worth it. 😊🎶🎤

      @AngiesVocals Good evening and thank you very much for your kind answer. Actually, I don't have a feedback at all. And I need to hear myself more when I am in a mixed voice, to control it... but when I put the feedback, I get a big whistle in my ears... You can see on my TH-cam, I do put my hand as a "cup to hear myself better, but this and it's not a way to perform, also, I get to much decibels in my right hear... And I'm starting to lose my right ear... Your tip really helps me, I sang a lot today, and If it wasn't for sleep I'll be still singing 😅 At first I thought your tip would make my voice less tired, which it did, but I thought I would lose my roundness in my hight notes, but no. You can't imagine how you did help me. A big THANK YOU 🥰 Take care and good night from FRANCE ✨️🌃

    I don't understand 😞 so before going for a high note we should do a fry?

    • @AngiesVocals
      @AngiesVocals 28 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Gentle fry siren up to the high note first to show you how it should feel when you sing the high note- the fry balances the larynx and when you don’t let your tongue lift at the back you can feel it. The tongue drops down when you hit the higher notes and areas of your range

    • @AngiesVocals

      Yes so if you let your air out before you start to sing the pressure is reduced when you start - also if you practice with your tongue out before it will help reduce the pressure on the folds which cause the shakey-ness when you are nervous.
