"Hate" (Official Live) for a Bass & Guitar dual. "Freedom" (Official Live) for a Drum Solo "Manners/Black Hole" (Official Live) Two very different songs in one video, that shows their musical range. "Daydreaming" (Official Video) Great song, closer to a ballad. You will quickly find out that no matter what song recommendation you follow, they are ALL awesome. 😃👍
Great reaction! You just listened to the greatest Rock band on the planet. AND you are right …. Many reactors have tried to pinpoint what genre they are……Band Maid is Band Maid. Nothing like them. I love Band Maid❤
I would add "Sayonakidori" Acoustic Ver. (Official Live Video) to your List. Miku´s Amazing Lead Vocal´s gets me every Time. And nice Reaction. Welcome to Band-Maid, Po!
Kanami, the songwriter, has a classical piano background, and you can tell she uses that experience in her songwriting. She really understands how to use music to tell a story and evoke emotions. Regarding the "uniforms," they've taken to calling the costumes their "battle gear." They all take on a different mindset and personality when they're on stage. Like, Kanami and (lead singer) Saiki are very shy in their personal life, but are decided NOT shy on stage. For a counter-point to this one, try watching HATE? live.
The guitar player with the red rose (Miku Kobato) worked in a Maid cafe in Akihabara and thought it would be cool to start a band of gals in cute maid outfits that played "cool " music. She succeeded rather well. Have a listen to "Hate?" live on their TH-cam channel to hear the vocals that match.
It's so rare for a first reaction to Band-Maid to be one of their instrumental songs. But they are amazing whether it's instrumental or they're singing. Their lead singer is amazing. When people try to compare them with others or figure out what genre it is, the answer is Band-Maid. They are their own genre. But to be fair, there's a lot of 80s and 90s rock in their sound.
Band-Maid has sooo many kick ass song it will make you stand up and say out loud "HOLY SHIT HOW DO THEY DO THAT"! "HATE" OFFICIAL LIVE VIDEO FROM YOKOHAMA ARENA will give you an idea of what im saying 😊
The band was founded in 2013 by Miku, rhythm guitar and vocals. She worked in a maid café and came up with the idea of playing hard rock music while wearing maid clothes. “An impossibly hard rock rocking maid band.” Other members: Saiki-lead vocals. Ice Queen Akane-drums. Gorilla Misa-bass, the Barefoot Assassin Kanami-lead guitar, songwriter. Mincho Miku- Small Pigeon.
Welcome to Band-Maid! The best hard rock band I have heard in my 58 years on this planet. They don't stick to any one genre and often mix genres in songs. They are extremely diverse and have an extensive back catalogue featuring Punk, Pop-Punk, Hard-Rock, Classic Rock, Metal, Prog, Blues, Jazz, Groove, Rap etc. From face melting 220 bpm punk-prog to ballads, instrumentals to acoustics they do it all. They can make you headbang, they can make you pogo, they can make you cry like a baby. They are also five of the nicest people in music, without a shred of ego. They are funny and fun and world class musicians to boot. They are currently into their 11th year with the original line up. Btw, Miku the rhythm guitarist (red rose) formed the band. She had the idea of Band-Maid after working as a maid in Japanese maid cafe's. Her idea is a concept called "The Gap" - that is what you see (cute maids) is NOT what you get (Hard Rock/Punk/Metal). They take the maid café concept literally. They call their concerts "servings" and their fans "Masters and Princesses". Oh, and Miku is an 810 year old small pigeon. Welcome to the pigeon hole Po!
Thank you for your wonderful comment. It is sometimes said that ``Rock was born in America, grew in England, and was perfected in Japan.'' To hear how amazing this group is, please search for the title below on TH-cam and listen to it. Also, please listen to "Love Bites", "One OK Rock", etc. "Band-Maid: Dice, Hate (Lollapalooza 2023)"
Now this is what makes watching reactions worthwhile. Making me happy for five years, this band. Just wait until you hear how their lead singer is just as f'ing awesome!! They have ten years of material - and they are incredible composers, musicians and people. They worth their asses off and they are incredibly good. And a live show? You haven't lived until you've seen them live - seriously.
@@XplorationXpedition Haha ... ok, because he needed a pick-me-up :p . Still should not stop you from checking out some Hanabie ... "We Love Sweets" is probably the best intro to these cute young ladies. I'll also pitch in a another vote for BAND MAID - HATE?
Oh! Is Ryan sleepy? Does he need a pick me up? Would he rather have his face melted? Then I would suggest Lovebites or Nemophila! Two all female Japanese bands that are HEAVY!! Lovebites: power/thrash metal. Nemophila: HARD Rock!!
You're gonna be amazed when the vocals are added in. Pay particular attention to the two almost separate vocal lines blending into razor sharp harmonies.
Another Instrumental of theirs is "Onset". There's an official LIVE. There's also "Don't Be Long" but only a fancam. Good quality though. Something with their lead vocalist, maybe "Shambles" or "Sense". Thank you! You will absolutely enjoy listening to them I believe. They are very technical.
They perform instrumentals during their 2 hour shows to give Saiki, the lead singer, a well deserved break. I'm 63 and Band Maid has brought the enjoyment of music back.
You are about to be bombarded with lots of viewers and new subscribers. You just discovered the greatest band on the planet, and you haven't even heard their fantastic singer yet.
@@XplorationXpedition For more instrumentals, try the OMV from their 2018 Zepp Tokyo concert, "Onset" available on their channel. They also have 2 other instrumentals, they are Don't Be Long and Without Holding Back. You can find a video for Without Holding Back on TH-cam, there is a song without video of Don't be Long available on their YT Channel under the "Different" playlist.
Welcome to the "pigeon" hole..."po".....10 years over 130 songs....pick ANY of them.....im going to suggest "Hate?" official live video...Yokohama....satisfaction guaranteed....well done....I'll be back for sure....thanks
Pretty much anything on their official channel is going to be good. They only have one other instrumental on there, a live performance of "Onset". There are several songs that are slower and more mellow, including "Bestie" (MV) co-written with Mike Einziger of Incubus, "Memorable" (MV) a love letter to their fans, "About Us" (online live show), also a love letter to the fans, and "Endless Story", which has a lovely MV shot on a volcanic island but there is also a great live version which was the grand finale of their 10th Anniversary Tour - watch with the CC on. Also there are two videos from the online acoustic show they put out on Christmas day 2021, very stripped down and relaxed version of "Catharsis" and "Sayonakidori". That last one features a lead vocal from Band Founder/2nd guitar/2nd vocals Miku Kobato. Bestie, Catharsis and Sayonakidori all feature the band members NOT wearing their standard maid outfits (shock horror!)
They have two other instrumentals on their official channel besides "Onset" and "From Now On", but they are audio only. Click where it says Releases and on the YOLO single there is the instrumental version of "YOLO" (plus the B-sides "Unfair Game" and "Matchless Gum"), and the Different single has "Don't Be Long".
9074, the man the myth, is everywhere. Welcome to the world of Band-Maid. I'm 75s years old and have seen a lot of rock bands from the iconic to the not so well known. They are one of the best rock band to come along in decades. These five young Japanese females are incredibly talented, versatile, and professional. You mentioned a battle, so I suggest your react to "Hate?", the official live video. When you listen to the song (that does have lyrics) make sure you turn on the closedc-aptioned lyrics. There is a battle during the song (between the bass and the lead guitar). You will LOVE IT!!!!! Band-Maid defies genres in their music. We Maidiacs (that's what Band-Maid fans call ourselves) simply call the sound Band-Maid music.

Definitely expect another band-maid this weekend! 😘we are working on audio and getting some stuff to make the experience a little bit better ! Thanks for watching!
If i can suggest you for the first song with thw singer i suggest the song "hate?" live from Yokohama center, release in november for their last show of their 10 th anniversary tour.
These ladies are my favorite superheroes in the universe. Their origin stories, and how they have gotten their superpowers is amazing. Band Maid are the most adorable musical badasses in the universe.
Welcome new princess and masters to the new world 🌎 Band Maid! ❤ 🔥 🤘🏽 This is one of their four instrumentals. They are THAT good. And still, you haven’t seen them command a crowd and destroy all rock bands within range of their amps. From here, I highly recommend “Don’t you tell ME,” official live from Yokohama Arena. ❤ the Maids!! P.S. Don’t worry Ryan, I guarantee you’ll find Band Maid songs you love. The Maids are musical shapeshifters and cannot be pigeonholed 😏
Wow they are insanely talented !!!! We are so excited to see more!!!! I am sure they are fricken awesome live!!! Hahahhaha ryan is getting kicked after this 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Sugoi! I'm 67 years old and have seen almost every pop, punk, rock, and metal band worth a damn in the last 55 years. I've seen BAND-MAID twice, and they are not to be missed LIVE. They are the most entertaining, hardest rocking, audience interactive and just plain FUN band I've witnessed - and that's with a language barrier! Imho, they're currently the best rock band on the planet regardless of gender. More please! Btw, other mostly all-female Japanese bands you should check out; BABYMETAL, GACHARIC SPIN, LOVEBITES, TRIDENT, NEMOPHILA, MAXIMUM THE HORMONE, HANABIE, etc. Arigatou! 🤘🤘 #SurrenderLove #ShareHappyLetsDance
Great reaction! You guys are a fun watch. Musical rock journey is a great description. The lead guitar serves as the vocals. Yes, they compose this song themselves. If you want a battle check out Hate? Live and Don't You Tell Me Live.
I have seen them Twice live Once in Chicago at the House of Blues and in 2023 also in Chicago at Lollapalooza. I have been a fan for 9 years. and I listen to them all the time.

They have instrumentals as well but mainly songs. The lead singer has the powerful voice with amazing sense of rhythm, even though the lyrics are mainly in Japanese, consider it as another instrument.
There are a ton of amazing all-women Japanese hard rock and metal bands. But I won’t recommend any until after your 3rd Band-Maid reaction, hah! So yeah might as well do the live version of Hate?.
New sub simply because for a first time react you kinda got it. Not fully, but you are close. Welcome to the genre that is Band Maid ❤ keep up the good work
FYI: As soon as you react to one with vocals, you'll see they are also awesome in that way, too. Their lead singer's name is Saiki, and the harmonies between her and Miku (rhythm guitarist) are also awesome. 😃👍
Congratulations on hearing your favorite band for the first time. Not much to add that hasn't already been said by my fellow "Maidiacs" so enjoy your journey and rock on.
@@XplorationXpedition don't let it worry you. It doesn't matter if you've been here the full 10 years or the last 10 minutes you're just as welcome. You're about to learn that these ladies are special and criminally underrated.
Your reactions were priceless. You have so much ahead of you as they have over 130 songs in their catalogue and they are all exceptional. Welcome to the Pigeon Coop.
03:13 ; What she says is exactly right. Miku (rhythm guitar this time) worked in maid cafe but dreamed of the spotlights. She convinced the entertainment agency she had signed with to let her put a band together. With frilly maid outfits and killer rock music. I will leave the rest of their story as an exercise for you new students. AKA the Gap. edit: Thanks for your attention. Now I'm off to listen to more Band-Maid; Arcadia Girl, Choose Me, Daydreaming, their cover of Honey,....
You have opened the floodgates. They may be the best rock group in the world today (I think they are). They are certainly the most creative band since the Beatles, and they are top-tier musicians. I saw many of the classic rock bands - Purple, Zeppelin, Queen, Santana, many more, all in their heyday. I’ve seen Band-maid three times and their performances stand up to any of those legendary bands. You are going to get a lot of suggestions. First, a little background on the band: Saiki Atsumi - Lead vocals Born Feb 8, 1994 MISA - Bass Born Oct 15, 1992 Kanami Tono - Lead guitar, Main composer and arranger Born Sept 28, 1991 Miku Kobato - Rhythm guitar, backing vocal Born Oct 21, 1991 Akane Hirose - Drums Born Dec 14, 1990 Miku was working in a Maid Café after being in an idol group that didn’t break through. She envisoned the idea of a maid-band that plays hard rock and metal. She recruited Kanami, after finding a Kanami guitar cover on line; Kanami then recruited Akane, who recruited MISA. Akane and MISA had been students together at the Tokyo Music Academy. The group decided they needed more vocal “oomph”, and collectively recruited Saiki. Miku didn't know how to play guitar when they started, so Kanami has been teaching her. She's become good so fast that she is really adding to the music mix, and Maidiacs are daring to dream of a dual shred. The band was struggling early on, and in 2014, even as the label was considering dropping them, they posted the music video for “Thrill” which went viral globally. When they realized what was going on, it gave them the momentum to forge ahead, and they have now done multiple tours of Europe and the U.S. and are building a global fanbase who call themselves the Maidiacs. They have released seven full albums, as well as several EPs, singles and music videos. They have put out around 170 songs, covering a wide variety of styles and sounds, without any duds. They combine a punk vibe with instrumental virtuosity (two things that are often seen as being incompatible), and have done some amazing progressive-rock songs and ballads with a metal edge to them. They toured the U.S. in 2022 and sold out 14 cities in less than 48 hours. They followed it up with a 2023 tour which had to be expanded from their original plans. Their fan base skews heavily to actual practicing musicians. Some of those followed the band to multiple dates and documented everything on youtube-some of the footage is hilarious. I’ve seen them in 2019, 2022 and 2023. Their shows are truly life-reaffirming. So far no announcements of another European tour but it seems likely in 2024. Band-Maid are that rare band that sound perfect live, even better than in the studio. Everything they have posted from their 10thAnniversary concert in Yokohama is absolute fire-I have bought the DVD and recommend you do too. 33 songs, 3 hours of insanity. The best clip on YT from that concert is “Hate?” th-cam.com/video/yfORoQIqB3E/w-d-xo.html Here are more links, to older performances: Freedom (Feb 14 2020) th-cam.com/video/FHpuEqMAcDg/w-d-xo.html Domination (Feb 14 2020) th-cam.com/video/QbyQCJn6rYg/w-d-xo.html Choose Me (Feb 14 2020) th-cam.com/video/HcqitbXgigU/w-d-xo.html Onset (Instrumental-insane!) th-cam.com/video/mVrN-j_Uc0U/w-d-xo.html And an official MV, one of their most popular: Daydreaming (it’s a slower ballad, gorgeous and truly heart-wrenching): th-cam.com/video/RCaeUkrItyY/w-d-xo.html If you want more background, I suggest you react to this classic interview. It's hilarious, it's insightful, you will learn their names for good, and their cuteness will destroy your brain. Oh, and they are completely nuts. th-cam.com/video/R4PofsQYwn4/w-d-xo.html
Great reaction! I remember the first Band-Maid video I saw. Mind blowing. Hate? official live No God - official live online (not Tokyo Garden) Manners / Black Hole - official live online Blooming - official MV Onset - official live (another instrumental)
The Maid costumes are to create "the Gap" meaning the difference in what you are seeing Demure Maids vs what you are hearing Hard Rock!! The young lady with the red flower is the founder of the band. Next - "Domination" live you'll meet their awesome singer Saiki.
So ... was that in Japanese or English? ... I couldn't tell :p . BAND MAID is: Miku Kobato (小鳩 ミク) - rhythm guitar, vocals, PR (Band founder, lyricist ... our flappy pigeon, po!) Kanami Tōno (遠乃 歌波) - lead guitar (musical composer extraordinaire - the princess) Akane Hirose (廣瀬 茜) - drums, percussion (see bananas ... and ramen - the gorilla) MISA MISA MISA - bass guitar (drinks hard liquor and performs without shoes on stage - the barefoot assassin) Saiki Atsumi (厚見 彩姫) - lead vocals ("we dance in the palm of her hand" - Domination - The Queen)
My BAND-MAID Spotify list is just short of 6 friggin hours! I haven't ever loved a band this much. Now you need to hear what they sound like with vocals: Hate? Official live video. ❤
I built a playlist over time but when it reached 5hr 42 min I realised the inevitable and just bunged everything into it so it's now the complete available works at 9hrs 12mins
They have a bunch of "singer takes a leak" instrumentals, all great. This was actually composed as a first number for support gigs and festivals for people expecting a girly idol band and totally do their heads in and have them running into the hall.
It NEVER ENDs with these bands out of Japan. Band-Maid is IMO the best. But do not be afraid to click on YT recommendations as you watch Band-Maid videos. They've got a few instrumentals. This one is the tightest, but you should also check out Onset.
Guys, another fantastic instrumental and played in live is "Onset". To get to know the singer Saiki you should start with "Domination" Live. If you want an epic solo of the drummer Akane I recommend "Freedom". If you want something that makes you appreciate the ability of the lead guitarist Kanami and the bass player Misa I recommend the live of "Hate?" And "Dont'you Tell". If you want something really heavy check out "Moratorium" live. Have a nice trip to the world of the Band Maid.

The Maids have in excess of 100 songs which are all great. If you can find the live version of Without Holding Back (another of their instrumentals) it’s worth a listen.
Hi all! Great to see you checking out Band Maid. You put your fingers on a number of key points. The gap between appearance and music is the idea of their founder and rhythm guitarist, Miku. They have four or five anime songs, including "Shambles" and "Sense." They also have other instrumentals, "Onset" and "Without Holding Back." I've been listening to them for three years and I put them in the same class as Led Zeppelin, Motorhead, and Jethro Tull. And even better, they sound just like this in their live shows (I've only seen them four times but getting my passport renewed.) Japan has a ton of metal and rock bands, many all-female, so there's a lot to keep you busy. Cheers.
Well, you have started the Japanese journey with the best band in the world. You can pick any song of theirs, and eventually you will hear their amazing vocalist. I am 55 and 90% of what I listen to are Japanese bands. Bands like Bridear, Nemophila,TRiDENT,Asterism, WagakkiBand, Divibe and Glim Spanky all very unique sounds, and some use a bit of English. This is a very short list. Would also recommend checking out Rolling Quartz from Korea and The Warning from Mexico.
It's not hyperbole when I say you could literally pick any song. Here are some good songs from Band Maid ( in no particular order): Honkai, brand new road, start over, order, alone, Arcadia girl, choose me, why why why, chemical reaction, don't apply the brake, shake that, glory, Beauty and the beast, don't you tell me, bubble, daydreaming, different, don't let me down, the nonfiction days, moratorium, cross, take me higher, time, secret my lips, fate, Rock in me, clang, turn me on, daydreaming, wonderland, bubble, the dragon cries, warning, blooming, no god, afterlife, hgk, Giovanni, from now on, corallium, influencer, shambles, before yesterday, I still seek revenge, freezer, reincarnation(rinne)
Subbing for the Band Maid and Japanese Rock/Metal Journey This Will Become. Battle reference... check out "Hate?" Also, Onset, Without Holding Back, and everything else. Literally
Welcome to Band Maid! Glad you (two) loved it! (what's 3rd guy's style of music? if it's anywhere near Hard Rock, we can find a Band Maid song for him!) The Pigeonhole is deep and full of great music, I hope you continue the journey. As many have said, "Hate?" is a great next step, their singer is there. They do sing mostly in Japanese, but they throw in a lot of English lyrics from song to song, and have a few songs that are entirely in English. These very talented ladies are, at their core, the very best hard rock band on the planet today (imo of course) but they do have some range and will go from very groovy, to very chaotic punk, to very complex prog, to mellow ballads and everything in between and I'm sure I've forgotten a bunch. They also have an unbelievable ability to write catchy choruses that get stuck in your brain. An impressive feat for doing it in a language I can't understand. They've been at it for more than a decade, have a catalogue that beggar's belief and have more music on the way this year. Hope you continue to enjoy them!
This one is sung in the universal language known as Kanami.
unleash the mincho
If it's not a Kanami Solo, it is a Kanami Solo.
a Kanami is a musical tsunami
I don't think i'm intelligent enough to understand everything. All I know is that is music to my ears.
Silence! Mincho is speaking! 🥰
"Hate" (Official Live) for a Bass & Guitar dual.
"Freedom" (Official Live) for a Drum Solo
"Manners/Black Hole" (Official Live) Two very different songs in one video, that shows their musical range.
"Daydreaming" (Official Video) Great song, closer to a ballad.

Band-Maid best hard rock band

@@PANIC_aka_PinD 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 he can nap all he wants now! He was only a guest 😜😜😜
Band-Maid is a band of musicians loved by musicians
They perform instrumentals during their 2 hour shows to give Saiki, the lead singer, a well deserved break. I'm 63 and Band Maid has brought the enjoyment of music back.
You are about to be bombarded with lots of viewers and new subscribers.
You just discovered the greatest band on the planet, and you haven't even heard their fantastic singer yet.
Wow!!!!! We cannot wait!!! Any recommendations welcomed!!! They seriously are amazing! 💜💜💜
@@XplorationXpedition Your next stop should be their most recent official LIVE video - HATE?
Then go from there.
@@DeanF_MIDI sounds great!!!!!😊 thank you!

"pick a song, any song"-band lol
Omg yes!!!! I feel terrible I didn’t know who they were before!!! We LOVED THEM!!!!
@@XplorationXpedition I mean... just look at the numbers. We are here for it.

Yes hate is awesome
@XplorationXpedition you will find that they always pay attention to detail in every song. They respect their audience.
Hi XplorationXpedition,
welcome to the world of Band-Maid. What a coice of a first song.
Glad to have you on this journey !
They are amazing! We were recommended and it was the best recommendation ever!!! Thank you!
@@XplorationXpedition I get that a lot! 🍺😆
Bill! 🍺🤘🏻🤪

You cannot not love Band-Maid! One song and you are hooked, they are a world class rock band, write amazing songs and play as well as anybody. Supertight, flawless, amazing.
Nothing gets a Maidiac going like watching people fall in love with BAND MAID. It was a great video and I enjoyed your reactions. Hope to see you react to more "BAND-MAID doing BAND-MADE things".
Definitely expect another band-maid this weekend! 😘we are working on audio and getting some stuff to make the experience a little bit better ! Thanks for watching!
So true
If i can suggest you for the first song with thw singer i suggest the song "hate?" live from Yokohama center, release in november for their last show of their 10 th anniversary tour.
These ladies are my favorite superheroes in the universe. Their origin stories, and how they have gotten their superpowers is amazing. Band Maid are the most adorable musical badasses in the universe.
Check out Band Maid's "Hate?" and then "Warning!". A good start to fall down their rabbit hole.
Don’t you mean pigeon hole Po
Welcome new princess and masters to the new world 🌎 Band Maid! ❤ 🔥 🤘🏽
This is one of their four instrumentals.
Hahahhaha ryan is getting kicked after this 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Nice... I saw what you did there.
You silly savage! Po! No Cruppo!!
Even better in person.
You go to their concert to hear good music and a comedy show breaks out.😅
So true.
Congratulations on discovering the #1 band in the world today! Buckle up and enjoy the ride!! 🎶🎸🥁🎸🎶🔥🙂🕊
Great reaction! You guys are a fun watch. Musical rock journey is a great description. The lead guitar serves as the vocals. Yes, they compose this song themselves.
If you want a battle check out Hate? Live and Don't You Tell Me Live.
Haha I was trying to think of the best way to describe but I am glad you got it!! Thanks for the recommendations!!
You just can't go wrong with Band-Maid!!!
I have seen them play this song live twice, it is so good! The singer is awesome as well, please check out more!
Wow you are lucky to have seen them live!! Must have been an experience!!!! We will definitely be dropping another video!!!
I have seen them Twice live Once in Chicago at the House of Blues and in 2023 also in Chicago at Lollapalooza. I have been a fan for 9 years. and I listen to them all the time.
Just wait until you hear them sing. Watch a classic live performance, in their battle gear, for the full BAND-MAID experience: DOMINATION, 14 February 2020 - th-cam.com/video/QbyQCJn6rYg/w-d-xo.htmlsi=SMDik1x_S0QAdFY1
They have instrumentals as well but mainly songs. The lead singer has the powerful voice with amazing sense of rhythm, even though the lyrics are mainly in Japanese, consider it as another instrument.
New sub here. Welcome to the Band-Maid family. You won’t be disappointed!
Each a master of their respective craft. I will suggest watching any of their live videos to really see how they play off each other and the audience.
There are a ton of amazing all-women Japanese hard rock and metal bands. But I won’t recommend any until after your 3rd Band-Maid reaction, hah! So yeah might as well do the live version of Hate?.
Oh and enjoy the lyrics
Exactly! 🍺😁
Awesome, but you seriously need headphones in order to properly hear Band-Maid
Hahahaha yes I totally agree❤!!! Maybe when we get bigger will definitely invest!!!!!
I'm Japanese, but I didn't know this band. I wanted to hear a song with vocals, so I found "Different."

Nice reaction guys. Please check out their LIVE videos of:
Domination, Dice/Hate @ Lollapalooza, Don't You Tell Me, Day Dreaming, Freedom, etc....
They are rock and roll guardian angels and the best hard rock band on this planet🤘Keep an eye on them!!
When I saw them live at a festival they openned with this, bringing everyone to their stage.
Wow amazing!!!
One of my favorite bands of all time. They are best seen live. Can’t wait for them to come back to the US.
🤘Love Band Maid!!!🤘You happened to pick one of their four instrumentals.
New sub simply because for a first time react you kinda got it. Not fully, but you are close. Welcome to the genre that is Band Maid ❤ keep up the good work
Thanks for the sub!
You definitely need more Band Maid in your life and play list!
FYI:
As soon as you react to one with vocals, you'll see they are also awesome in that way, too.
Their lead singer's name is Saiki, and the harmonies between her and Miku (rhythm guitarist) are also awesome. 😃👍
We are so excited to hear the vocals!!!! Love it thank you!!!
Congratulations on hearing your favorite band for the first time. Not much to add that hasn't already been said by my fellow "Maidiacs" so enjoy your journey and rock on.
Maidiacs… that is awesome!! 😎
They are sick!!!! 😩😩 we are upset we didn’t know about them sooner!
Band Maid rocks. Musical excellence.
This is one of their few songs without their singer but it is one of their best, IMO. I just adore their talent, energy and presentation.
Welcome home, Masters and Princess, Po! 🕊️
First, a little background on the band:
Saiki Atsumi - Lead vocals Born Feb 8, 1994
MISA - Bass Born Oct 15, 1992
Kanami Tono - Lead guitar, Main composer and arranger Born Sept 28, 1991
Miku Kobato - Rhythm guitar, backing vocal Born Oct 21, 1991
Akane Hirose - Drums Born Dec 14, 1990
Miku was working in a Maid Café after being in an idol group that didn’t break through.
As you gathered, this was one of their instrumental tracks. Saiki, their lead singer, is just as proficient as any of these ladies!
Band Maid is a journey, enjoy it ...
The Maid costumes are to create "the Gap" meaning the difference in what you are seeing Demure Maids vs what you are hearing Hard Rock!!
The young lady with the red flower is the founder of the band.
Next - "Domination" live you'll meet their awesome singer Saiki.
Welcome to Band-Maid. Check out Shambles, Influencer,...ect. Just pick anything and you'll be good. Live is usually the best way to go with them.
So ... was that in Japanese or English? ... I couldn't tell :p .
BAND MAID is:
Miku Kobato (小鳩 ミク) - rhythm guitar, vocals, PR (Band founder, lyricist ... our flappy pigeon, po!)
Kanami Tōno (遠乃 歌波) - lead guitar (musical composer extraordinaire - the princess)
Akane Hirose (廣瀬 茜) - drums, percussion (see bananas ... and ramen - the gorilla)
MISA MISA MISA - bass guitar (drinks hard liquor and performs without shoes on stage - the barefoot assassin)
Saiki Atsumi (厚見 彩姫) - lead vocals ("we dance in the palm of her hand" - Domination - The Queen)
Nailed it, they dont sound like anyone else.....
Band- Maid is like no other band on this planet.. they are a genre po!
The outfits are inspired by the traditional Japanese Maid Cafe uniforms.
It NEVER ENDs with these bands out of Japan. Band-Maid is IMO the best. But do not be afraid to click on YT recommendations as you watch Band-Maid videos.
They've got a few instrumentals. This one is the tightest, but you should also check out Onset.
Great reaction. Definitely we need more from Bandmaid 🤟. Wait until you guys see the singer 😉

The Maids have in excess of 100 songs which are all great. If you can find the live version of Without Holding Back (another of their instrumentals) it’s worth a listen.
Wow that is a lot of music!!! Thank you!
guess who it is 9074. Hi roger :D thanks for the recommendation to our favourite band. as always
(RC Strikes again!!) Thanks XX for checking out Band Maid, hoping for more reactions
It's not hyperbole when I say you could literally pick any song.
Here are some good songs from Band Maid ( in no particular order):
Honkai, brand new road, start over, order, alone, Arcadia girl, choose me, why why why, chemical reaction, don't apply the brake, shake that, glory, Beauty and the beast, don't you tell me, bubble, daydreaming, different, don't let me down, the nonfiction days, moratorium, cross, take me higher, time, secret my lips, fate, Rock in me, clang, turn me on, daydreaming, wonderland, bubble, the dragon cries, warning, blooming, no god, afterlife, hgk, Giovanni, from now on, corallium, influencer, shambles, before yesterday, I still seek revenge, freezer, reincarnation(rinne)
Subbing for the Band Maid and Japanese Rock/Metal Journey This Will Become.
Battle reference... check out "Hate?"
Also,
Onset, Without Holding Back, and everything else.
Literally
Wait until you hear all five Maids... with headphones set to STUN -- 130 songs of awesomeness!
Nice reaction X-X's next instrumental to check out will be ON SET -Live
The more I listen to Just Bring It, the more I think it is the best album of all time 🕊️❄️🍌🥷🎸
Welcome to Band Maid! Glad you (two) loved it! (what's 3rd guy's style of music? if it's anywhere near Hard Rock, we can find a Band Maid song for him!)
The Pigeonhole is deep and full of great music, I hope you continue the journey.
Hope you continue to enjoy them!
yeah, as others have said check out that live version of hate? It has a real battle between the guitar and bass, it's pretty awesome.
