Literally, because there is a lot of evidence of "Loser Queue" Fixed Matchmaking in Ranked, and if you restart your client, or quit and come back later, it may disrupt a trend you're on. If nothing else, if it's really just that you're tilted, it can reset that too, especially if you go for a run and get you some endorphins.
@@TechnoSpice funny enough i just watched a video the other day where a guy showed off the patents the dev studio has about matchmaking and one of them was if you keep playing through losses they will put you into a loser bracket where most of the people you will play with will also have negative win rates but if you quit the moment you lose then it will put you in games you are more likely to win and honestly it wouldn't surprised me if they implemented it into the game

all ults should have 20% slower charge. and the supports need a 1 second time reduction on their ults.

But high rank players complain about triple support too. I feel like their aim should be good enough to get the headshot. cloak's ult also has the most counters. I think people just don't want to play the characters that counter supports. And btw I'm not saying triple support meta is good, just that there are counters to it.

Okay yesterday in my plat/diamond lobbies, I ran into a triple support team.
I mainly play Spiderman. My brother, who I queue with, mainly plays Venom (I also queued with my friend who played support that match). So we had a hard dive comp. When I tell you that diving the enemy backline was the WORST experience I’ve ever had in ranked, I am not exaggerating.
What makes this worse, is that the game was extremely close. Our team was better skill-wise (minus our Punisher who went 12-13).
I kid you not, I dove in with my Venom at the same time, popped my ult on their Luna after they ended all their support ults, and NOBODY died. They simply out-healed a Venom slam, Venom tether, Venom primary fire, Spiderman combo, AND Spiderman ultimate (all in EXTREMELY quick succession) by simply healing through it WITHOUT support ults.
Do you know why this is so bad for the game? It means that dive comp, which is SUPPOSED to counter strong enemy support backlines, cannot get past a strong enemy support backline even when played perfectly.
We waiting for the perfect moment to dive the enemy backline, after they expended their defensive ultimates. We had pretty much perfect coordination, yet the supports had enough healing and utility to survive everything we threw at them.
Nerf defensive ultimates charge rates and durations, and either nerf healing or give dive characters minor anti heal.
also for my own defense, I am a Lord Spiderman main. I have not gone negative in a ranked match since I was Bronze (aka since the game’s first release). I got SVP that match with 24 kills I believe against triple support. Im not higher ranked because I don’t play ranked every day unfortunately. But yeah this is for my defense since a lot of ppl hate Spiderman mains 👍
I played black panther in season 0 and I did pretty good and had a lot of fun, but after the nerf and playing against triple support, I can’t do anything, I’m now playing venom/hulk but I just feel like a tankier tickle monster

@ i don't like how with triple support in a comp completely negates every dive/flanking hero's efforts. it feels cheap to just play 3 supports to counter dive instead of learning better positioning, asking for peel, or become more mechanically skilled (land stuns/time sustain abilities)

People keep bringing up anti heal as a solution and while i agree that its one solution, i think a much simpler solution is burst damage. Note however that im quite new to hero shooters so i dunno if this would cause a bunch of other problems

Im celestial rn, the thing to do vs triple support is either mirror or play 3dps with meta dps like hela/bucky/squirrel etc. Groot mk is also very good vs it.(mk ult kills thru all supp ults) Personally since i play dive chars(wolv/bp/magik only), i usually play wolverine if he’s not banned. Bp/magik can work but really hard on certain maps. You need to comm with your team and play together vs ts, you can’t ooga booga autopilot like against regular comps.
The best thing to do if im being honest is running double dive. Not 1 but 2 or hell even 3 dives. Me and my friend both go captain America and black panther whenever we see triple support and bullying them

The problem in high rank lobbies like grandmaster is that they are coordinating their ults, layering them right after each other and giving the team 30 seconds of borderline invincibility. Which is almost enough time to farm the next ult and repeat the cycle. Dive will have a harder time here.
The main problem in my opinion isn't that the strat is too strong. Don't get me wrong it is certainly strong, but the main problem is that there isn't a clear counter to it. So the enemy team often simply mirrors the strat and turns the game into a very boring stall fest. And making the game boring is a far larger crime than making the game unbalanced.
@@deafwatch7334 problem i have with triple support is more that they get to use 2 ults to push whenever they want and they can always keep the 3rd (like a luna ult) to counter any big ults your team have, fought against a luna,cloak and loki comp and cause cloak and loki can get their ults especially fast the loki will just copy one of those 2 to push while our ults always gets countered by the luna's 12 second ult, only way we were able to win that was because strange's shield can block luna's ult letting your team get the kill

i actually played loki with a adam the other day and we had 3 born agains back to back in 1 fight, i copied him first, then when we start losing again he ults and when we are losing again i already got my ult so i copy him a 2nd time, we made the enemy team waste a good 2 minutes on their push with that lol

If you can manage to crawl out of plat then you should probably just go back to quick match once you hit diamond unless you main support in which case you can play whatever you want.
@ I haven’t settled in on a main yet tbh. I am good with several support and DPS. I struggle with tanking though. Only am really good with Penny and that’s very map dependent.
Some of the people in plat are just so bad. Yesterday, I had a game in which my team wiped the floor with the other team first round. We won like 100 to 0. Then, three people on our team switched characters for no reason and proceeded to get stomped on. We lost the next two rounds and it wasn’t even close, all bc those three people felt they needed to switch characters for NO REASON (it was not to counter, the enemy team never switched characters once).
Things like that make me believe people don’t like winning. Like they’re throwing intentionally to troll or smth.

I was playing a lot of Loki at the start of the season and I had one round where there was a Star Lord on my team who kept feeding and every time he died he would spam the chat asking where the heals were. Eventually I followed him for a bit because he kept demanding that one of the healers pocketed him and he went around a corner where the enemy team was hiding and took a lot of damage so he came back to me for healing. We made eye contact, I healed him, and he immediately boosted back around the corner where he almost died and got vaporized in less than a second. He then asked me where the heals were once again and claimed everyone else was throwing. We honestly could have won that game if we weren't constant down a duelist but this guy insisted on throwing. It might just be me but I feel like most plat players are worse than gold players because this shit didn't happen to me in gold.
At D1 the answer is yes it's not worth it

Dude I genuinely hate triple support man. I exclusively play dive tanks and dive dps, I played Overwatch and exclusively played dive tanks and dive dps, I am a Hulk and Panther main who also plays Cap and Venom. Every kill I get feels like it only happened because the support I was diving turned off their monitor and let me kill them out of pity, it feels awful. I went from cooking lobbies in s0 to being lowest kills of any dps or tank in the game with more than average deaths in a lower rank than last season.
Even if 2 supports, if there's no other divers, you shouldn't be dive solo. All it takes is a support to heal the other support or dps, and you have 0 impact.
As a lord venom main it’s already bad enough that every healer in the game is hard to kill because they have bullshit ability like stuns or instant self healing, but bro i swear to you NOTHING MAKES ME WANT TO BLOW UP HARDER THEN WHEN I GER FUCKINH PUSHED AWAY AND HEAR “DISAPPEAR!!!!!” “US AGAINST THE WORLD” “I AM GROOOOOOOOOOT” this is why it’s slowly becoming less and less fun to play venom and why i am slowly giving up on ranked

The most brutal match I was ever part of was 2 DPS, 4 Healer.

I remember writing that on the first surveys in season 0. Felt like I was insane, nobody had that much issue with nigh unkillable comps.
3:46 oh, I didn't think about that since the deal with it is that it puts allies together around Adam, with the cost of well being together leads to certain enemies gaining an advantage.
Though a change I could have be instead of slowly healing, they just have an increase in healing.
Also Adam Warlock despertaly needs some form of personal safety, I'd say mobility atleast because for some reason he can't actually fly, it should be fine due to having no utility outside of a revive and healing ontop of sometimes you don't want to be flying and get close to your team.
4:02 it's that hole turning damage taken into healing mainly, I way I could keep that interest in trickery is have only the real loki have that trait, what that does is if loki wants to make his team invicinble he has to also reveal himself as a cost.
Or just have it instead increase the healing they gain ontop of the heal it does, this would allow it to get away with more health as you can stll be able to kill the person inside, just it's really difficult.
I've found my personal pocket pick for these Triple supports is Squirrel Girl. She can easily root enemies with the alt fire and the splash damage from her primary fire nukes Loki's Healing because you can just aim at the clone to break the heal. Her pressure can force them to use their panic buttons. Her ult can very quickly charged and shreds the Strategists or forces pressure away from your team so they can get rid of the squirrels. If you have a Spiderman on your team, the teamup ability basically guarantees a kill. Not saying Squirrel Girl is the solution to the triple heal but the way I play her works for me.
I think the best way to counter three supports is by killing their tanks and disabling heals to them. For this your team should be like that groot, other tank possibly with higher dps, psylocke or wolverine(if two tanks and not banned) or moon knight(if it's not banned) or any dive dps, something with high damage on second dps(bucky, storm, iron man, punisher) and heals with safe ults. This counter if you work in team. You take out of the line their tank, then groot puts the steel wall and you with team just killing him. Then you push with team trying to kill one of supports, if the job done you're in lead cause you may have 6v4 or 5v4 or 4v4 but with two of their healers dead. This counter works if you play in team of minimum of two(one groot, other someone with damage or hard control like wolverine with his shift). In solo queue i don't know the counter. You may comand your team to pull up more dive, but i don't think it's worth it, cause you can't really teamplay with randoms. And i think gm in this game isn't worth a lot as you care of it, cause you can rank up this shit in three days if you're average overwatch player or battleroyale player. Gm in this game worth more when you're playing in stack of 6 and when you're always meet paties like yours.
I'm part of the "problem" to an extent. I main heal/support in any game that supports that type of play. I'm not picking Tank to be mediocre or not get support from the healers in which most cases I don't. I know how to heal in various games. I'm gonna be a third healer or possibly a DPS. However, I do agree that 3S can make a game stale for certain playstyles. Balance is important. I'm not gonna queue to lose especially in ranked. I'm gonna play my best role. As a gamer of decades I came up with the notion to come to win and accept the L if they played better. Fun is for QP and even then I'm not there to waste people's time. I don't blame people that want to win. I blame balance and the people that find it acceptable to lose because trying isn't an option for them.
The best counter to tripple support is harass the tank and make sure he doesnt have a chance to play or dive the suports which as you mentioned is nearly impossible but dpending on player skill level it can be viable and the final way is jist running tripple support and see who can manage resources better, fun...

the solution is simple bring DPS passive which reduces healing by 20%. and maybe then people can actually learn to use cover and not be freely walking cuz they wont die with heals.They will need to nerf some DPS damage numbers for this as well but i am fine with it , if things are actually killable.

im gm 1 and i mainly play tank and dps. There are i think 3 ways that could work very well. 1 gamma team up pocket iron man a lot. 2 use characters like moon and star that can farm ults at similiar speed to support ults so can kinda waste them. Finally just a big spam comp like squirel rocket winter punisher just pure dmage. At least thats what working for me
The counter is a coordinated hard dive comp. e.g Venom, spider, BP together. If you go high damage characthers like Squirel girl or storm and focus tanks you just feed their healers ult charge. You have to hard focus healers and never damage tanks. Problem is coordinated dive requires lot of teamwork you don't get in ranked solo que but playing triple support requires no coordination at all and anyone can pull off well.

as a gm loki main who plays with triple support very often its also not fun because if you don't copy luna or cloak you just immediately lose the fight when the enemy team pops their immortality ult
The somewhat decent counter I’ve found in Diamond lobbies is any Hero that can 1 shot outright with ult or with normal kits.
Ironman Ult charges fast with the Unibeam and you can delete the 3 supports, BUT they will play someone to counter you. Magneto is also very good at outright one shotting.
And… fucking Scarlet Witch theoretically could work, if you do land it and the 3 supports can’t really kill you.
I still hope they fucking nerf the Ult charge rate or duration, I love playing Cap and Thor, and 3 supports makes it miserable to dive.
I'm a D1/GM Lord Cap Main with 70% W/R. I 100% feel the frustration and agree 100%. When these people don't understand the power of triple support right now it pisses me off. And when WE dont have triple support its horrible. I HATE going against it. It's so boring and makes the game so unfun. I feel like you have to ban Luna, Invis Woman, Cloak and Dagger, and Mantis every game in order to actually have fun with this meta. Its so braindead and boring
So as someone that is finally GM now, let me say I feel you. And largely agree. A few thoughts (apologies if this looks like a novel by the end):
-Loki is S-tier no matter the meta, bro. Rune IS the best ability in this game and he literally copies off. He only struggle when there are hyper mobile characters on his team, because it’s hard to heal them.
-This isn’t triple support fault. It’s triple defensive ult fault. Adam, Rocket and Mantis isn’t stomping. Jeff, Luna & Rocket, isn’t stomping. Nerf Luna Ult, revert C&D ult (or reduce each trail time by 2 seconds) and a lot of this goes away. I even want to say nerf Invisible Woman’s but she’s the most balanced except maybe Mantis.
-Dive is not the answer to this comp. The only consistent answer I seen (and it’s easier said then done), is the force their ults first. You cannot be trading ults into triple support if your team ain’t running it.
So I play Thor a lot now, and if I do soft dive and put pressure on 1 or 2 of the healers and get a major ability like Rune or Soul Bond, that’s value. But the real value is getting the ults to pop. My Thor ult for a Luna ult that goes off because of me is worth. However, I don’t think this works as easy for the traditional dive characters because of their lower health pools and their ults tend to be more decisive in a team fight than Thor.
-And my last tip bro, if all else really fails, get the aim up and hop on the big H’s (Hela/Hawkeye) 😂. They not banned at all and every now then, they pop up and them headshots shut everything done (I know how boring you find them though).

2:58 mainly because they're boring ones, Luna is stuck in a long ass inactive animation that gives alot of value for little care, It should be something similar to what mantis has but more styled around luna's gameplay, Like playing a rhytim game while timing your abilities since in a way thats part of how they work and having your passive leave ice on the ground that increase ally movement speed and Reduces Cooldown Recharge, Slows enemies and slowly freezes them if Luna damages them
Cloak and dagger? it should have the effects be split as in, you have to decide if you want a damage area or a healing one or more interstingly have it just give cloak and dagger dashes as a buff they can decide when to use that just increases their damage and healing output, ontop of their cooldowns being reduced.
This way they have to engange with the game to make the most out of their now more deserved power.
i was worried since launch about this, i could tell as an ow vet (highest i got in ow was around 350 on console and 400 on pc) is that the sustainability is too high, and that when the meta was figured out we’d already have a goats frustration.

The issue with triple support is the Dr Strange crutch combo is insane. Ban Strange and triple support can be broken. Remove the tp crutch and ult combos, then those teams crumble bc they actually have to play with margin of error now.
Guarantee you can apply enough pressure that the supps waste their Ults just to touch point. It's doable but if theyre running strange makes it so much more difficult to apply pressure.
gm2 lord on strange and ill be honest yes strange is strong but hes not the main issue at all. actually this season i find myself playing magneto more at higher elo due to being able to dunk on support ults

Strange is not really an issue for me tho (Thor main) cause every other tank I nthe game apart from Cap is too slow to keep up with the match pacing (strange removed)
I think strange is the highest carry potential of any hero in the game. People say that about Thor, but it's absolutely Strange. The ability to skip 20 seconds of walking for your whole team, or even block a teams spawn exit twice a round is unmatched. Against any other tank my Thor will perma stagger their tank in position battles
People are running triple support in gold lobbies bro this shit is wild 😭😭 (but atleast in gold you can pull out magneto, Ironman or wolverine without much issues)
3:15 For Adam outside of triple support. I can see that point. Loki? No shot is he mediocre. Being able to copy your other support or the enemy's support ult is insane. Considering how fast loki get's ult, it is so free for your team that it will make the other team audibly groan hearing "us against the world!" or "I am ready to put on a show!" TWICE. His value does go down if you don't have another defensive ult but then at the point. Why the fuck are you on loki if you don't have at least one defensive ult. Swap off. But not seeing at least one C&D, Luna, invisible woman, or mantis in your game is pretty unreal. It can happen but they are picked more often than not. His shift and combined clone fire to heal or damage is not something to sleep on. The totem has huge saving potential due to the nature of converting damage to healing, and the fact that you can have 3 down, covers so much area for your team. His pure versitlity does NOT justify lumping him with Adam. Are you justified in crashing out though? Absolutely.
This isn't a crashout this is accurate. They either need to buff duelists in some way or nerf healing. When even celestial players are calling for a heavy nerf to them. I think they NEED it.

and i think a lot of this derives from the praise marvel rivals was getting at launch for having everyone "be op" and that "thus nobody is op", because everyone (if not everyone then the casual playerbase which is definitely larger than the comp playerbase) basically prevented any accurate criticism from getting through to the devs and thus caused probably one of the most horrendous balance patches in the history of hero shooters (buff cnd and bucky and nerf black panther like what????) while the casual playerbase, who will likely barely if ever face off against triple support, still sucks off xi jing ping netease and claims that nobody needs to be buffed or nerfed and that everything is fine the way it is (i absolutely hate the abhorrent marvel rivals tiktok community fucking bronze weirdos who think they know everything) , which is a whole nother can of worms, as if nothing gets buffed or nerfed, then nothing changes, and the game gets stale (idk what to say, i hate triple support!)
I hate triple support, but I hate dive comps even more, so I'm taking the triple support. Also GM is top 2% of the player base. Even if you don't consider it high, it is high. I would hate for the developers to nerf supports, just because dive players can't cope that they aren't the main characters in the game.

Triple support makes tanks and dps feel awful to play. You are forced to play high burst damage characters and a strange or magneto. It really limits team comps. I like to play thor or venom, but that doesn't work at all when the other team has a luna and a cloak. The whole team groups up in a cloak ult, then pop the luna, with a revive or loki shift to extra screw you. It forces you to run or die immediately. Its awful.
It also means your team has to be similar, where no one is doing anything for 20 seconds in a team fight since no one is dying in the best case scenario.
I'm just saying, triple support wasn't a thing before Hawkeye and Hela nerfs that the community demanded. Maybe the devs were cooking with something and you guys didn't realize until afterwards. What's the meme term for this? “Well, well, well… if it isn’t the consequences of my own actions”

Wow, it's almost like there was this check and balance that the community F*'d up and didn't realize it until it was too late.
If Marvel rivals were to implement the cauterized system from the game Paladins, there wouldn't necessarily be a need to directly reduce healing amounts from healers. If they implemented a system where every character that does damage to each other would take 1 second to one and a 1/2 seconds of reduced. Healing Up to ninety percent throughout the course of a game, this would alleviate a lot of healing frustration.
It also would mean that they wouldn't have to buff the dps numbers of dmg characters as well to alleviate nothing dying.
Both supports and dps could keep their numbers, and still have impact in that sense. But both roles would have to respect cauterize.
@Jkclone056 from a gameplay standpoint, it also has the benefit of making gains way more tactical. So there would be less super crazy dive heavy Spam, unless you're really good and really able to commit to getting secures and kills to more teams. Basically playing more like siege or tactical shooters, a whole lot of corner poking a whole lot of waiting and stuff. You know feeling out the other team.
As a spidey main, I very deeply relate to this feeling

Hey fam, here are a few ways to counter triple support:
-Magneto ult vs Cloak ult.
-Namor + Cc or Namor + Luna/Raccoon boost ult.
-Moon knight, better with cc or dmg amp.
- Hawk eye
-Dmg amp widow (mantis pref)
- Punisher ult (better with dmg amp)
-Iron man
-Wanda (lol)
Vs Susan or Cloak Wolverine or Bucky can kidnap out of heal zone for picks.
Triple support is not good. It’s only annoying if you don’t adapt. This is the same as playing full dive vs Penni namor and not swapping to something that’s playable.

If you wanna play purely for fun play quick lay bruh. Otherwise people are gonna do what they can to win. Time and time again gaming communities prove that they will engage in whatever cheese they possibly can to win. Sparking zero, mortal kombat, etc. people will much rather choose the most broken character or most busted gun, or most annoying team set up.

As a panther main this shit makes me wanna rip my hair out, especially with a Loki or Adam oh my God I wanna lose it, I just need supports nerved. Their ult charged requirement needs to be increased and Loki’s immortality bullshit needs to be nerfed to a damage reduction.

The issues all stem from people wanting to play their favorite DPS characters and not wanting to pick the tank. You have to be versatile as a tank or healer as well. The game punishes you for trying to stick to the same DPS all the time.

not going to lie it is rather funny that players used to complain at first that no one wants to play strategist and now that triple strategist has become meta players are complaining about players going strategist more. Leaving that aside, I find the problem with triple strategist to be that you can only really counter it going triple strategist yourself but at that point the match just becomes a slog since no team is actually making any progress in payload matches as they just wait for the strategist ults to pop. It becomes even worse on CTP maps since it just devolves to whoever gets the point first.

Has someone who recently faced and won against Triple strategist I would recommend playing Doctor Strange simply because inevitably when their Duelists or vanguards try to engage simply walk past them and just just a little ahead of them hold your Shield up blocking all of the incoming healing so they just end up dying.
Granted the besides that, I don't really know what else to do. The only time they were ever able to win was when they stacked ultimates.
I find it hilarious that about a week or 2 into playing Rivals I had a cry baby throw a match because from the jump my team started with triple support, this was before the meta so this cry baby was going “You guys are so stupid, we can’t do triple support, gg team’s bad, throwing comp”
There are 2 types of adam warlock players, triple support players and actually good healers with cracked aim
