Me and a group of people are looking into this, it seems the game renders things it doesn't need to on every map, if your game runs well in the training room, it should run everything else perfectly fine, but it doesn't. The main issue is the game having VERY bad model optimization, and relies on DLSS and frame generation for everything to work well. In short, if your gpu doesn't use AI to render frames you're dead

There are noticeable differences between the ranks between the bottom 3 ranks (I don't play enough ranked to get to Plat+ yet, but I'm on my way to Plat). The game itself has a low floor, but a high ceiling and the nuances of each action are explored more or less between the ranks. Then, there's overall performance. End of game stats are going to be different, fights themselves will differ, character selection and knowledge differ, and teams will overall perform differently. Then, you add in that most people are used to OW already so are already familiar with what to do and how to properly play the game. With that being said, there ARE a handful of characters that just vastly perform extremely well rn enabling them to hard carry bad players. There's not much you're doing against a good Hawkeye or Hela as an example UNLESS you pick a Spiderman or Black Panther. Also, you're going to have a much easier time climbing with Hela and Spidey than with Storm or Widow. Lastly, Spidey is NOT that hard either. You're not going to tell me he's harder to master and actually execute than Loki.

I strongly disagree this game isn't easy to get to GM it's just thought to the infancy of this game still being new and players adapting to the game. I can tell you all your friends that are GM got there not because of luck but skill and game sense.

The ranking is not stablish right now cuz game is very new. Give it maybe about 5 to 6 months and higher ranks would be hard. We can already see it right now GM is slowly getting hard and people that are grinders that are okay at the game slowly dropping ranks. I would give time then we might see more and more people being stuck at a certain rank. 😅

Its the same as overwatch i see no difference same rank in overwatch in rivels. Don't know how your friend's got so much better. Also sounds like you improved from overwatch you can flex very well

You are assuming everyone who plays this is coming from Overwatch while failing to acknowledge the most obvious key factor to consider - this is a Marvel product first and foremost. Needless to say, everyone and their mother is giving it a go purely to see their favorite heroes in action. Keeping the previous bit in mind, no - it's not necessarily that you are super good or that it's easy. It's that you are likely going against a bunch of kids who just want to wiz around with their fav hero. Moreover, most players are casual by default due to this appealing to the average Marvel fan. In short, you are not HIM, so you can rest easy. Aa you yourself already pointed out here in the video, the game is new. Wait for little Timmy, Susan, and the visiting family members to move on, THEN have this discussion.

Bro the game just came.put the average player base blows overwatch was the same season 1, as people get used to stuff people will platue , certain players in higher ranks learn their way to their personal skill cieling faster, so as time progresses players will get better and certain players will fall behind

Cringe video of some dumbass wanting to sound elitist. You see this shit all the time from people that want to act like they're better than everyone else. That said, ranked largely doesn't mean anything. If you're premade, are you matched with other premades? No. You solo queue? Oh neat now you're with 5 completely random people that have varying degrees of skill, communication, play styles. Even if a player by themselves might be decent because how he plays might not mesh well with that random team he's thrown into or maybe his picks are already taken or banned then he might perform badly. And let's be real, plenty of people get carried through ranked games that do not deserve the SR. But no. The game isn't too easy. Not everyone is GM. If you were solo queuing you largely get lucky because, most games, are not won solely by you. Even if you don't realize it. Just having top damage, top healing, etc doesn't mean anything in the grand scheme of things. Positioning and how well someone uses their ults is far more important. But I could keep going on and on. Some heroes that hard for me is Hulk, spiderman, wolverine, Black panther, captain America. But Hulk is by far the hardest for me. I hit gm playing groot, pyslocks, Loki, and Luna.

In my opinion it's because those that are actually good will get higher, but not everyone belongs in that higher rank. Since there aren't that many players yet and the ranks haven't really set in. I'm gm on two accounts, 90% winrate on one of them and around 60-70 on the first one. I do think it was a bit easy to get there, but I can't really compare it to anything as I've hit masters multiple times in Overwatch before. The first time I played OW2 for like a couple of weeks I got diamond in dps (my worst role)

It's like as if Rivals has new players who have never played a hero shooter before

The game is easy mechanically but this can be a good thing, maining one character can get pretty stale despite the variety in gameplay from match to match, so picking up a new character and being able to perform decently and thus expand the amount of characters you're good at is extremely fun. Learning and mastering are also 2 different things, most characters are easy to get into but you'll only get the most out of them if you master them, which is way harder to do. I would say over time people will most likely be lower ranks as more people actually master the mechanics, we'll see tho.

I was masters in overwatch in tank and gm for support. I hit GM in Marvel rivals. I can't reach one above all. Btw I play solo for both games.

i got to eternity solo queue tank and i was top 300 in ow tanking the only problem i have with this games ranked is how often u see the same ppl in high ranks its just unfun rn making it harder than ow imo

I can agree it's easier, but only because this game isn't ran by hitscan and has bans. If every hero was a hitscan you'd never play melee heroes because anybody half decent will 2 tap you every single time. That being said, I like this game because melee. If every character was punisher/hawkeye/hela I wouldn't touch this game
