To have content like this regularly put out I feel would fill a massive hole in the community. In recent years, league content has leaned more and more towards edited stream vods, and while those types of videos are fun, it would be nice to see more edited, well thought out videos like this.
Honestly, I like the idea of doing more of these vids. Short pieces of content like this is really digestible and a great tool to look for when trying out a new champ.
PLEASE make more videos like this. I absolutely love how thoroughly you break down all the aspects of what makes the champion/build good. It really demonstrates how much thought you put into crafting it and it's such a helpful resource for solo queue and pro play alike!
Shen is good against viego not only because of the W against viego AA’s but also because shen’s W COMPLETELY BLOCKS viegos ult. Shen W blocks on hit effects and viego’s ult applies on hit effects! Learned this interaction from xPetu :D
Another little micro management thing you can do is Q first at 1:16, to proc passive then q again at 1:24 to get the 3 free autos on the first buff and your 3rd q cast grants you a shield as well. might come in handy once in a blue moon when that one auto blocked by your passive turns into a kill lvl 2.
I've been playing "ALL ANGLES" jungle SHEN for a few years - I play spell book and the whole idea is to be as vegan as possible while trying to bring as much tempo to the game as possible so i actually take TP first to get out on the rift asap after a back and also to either help crash waves or re gank somewhere whos just got back to lane. Works pretty well, I love your itemisation I'll defo switch to that, I've seen my lord Xpetu suggest moonstone as well a few months ago too. Love this type of vid these are SO good. Next vid Anivia support and the best themes she could fit into. Or actually just do a seasonal video on THEMES love when you talk about that for drafts.

When you get the chance to check out new ADC itemization in real practice, check out Hurricane with Yun Tal. The bolts apply it if it crits, which when combining their AD scalings a bolt can deal 90% of your AD. 55% from Hurricane + 35% from Yun Tal.
If League and Riot did these videos themselves, it would boost playrate of champions so much, instead of only doing placebo buffs. Love the vid, hopefully you can cook up more builds like this.
Would love to see more longer form videos like I think you're really awesome and insightful allows you to effect the game and maybe influence pro which I think is awesome
I'd love to hear more off meta/unplayed picks that you have cooking, especially if youre gonna make videos like this. The kaisa build, even before the video and just playing the build myself, certainly fit my playstyle so much better and I was able to use it in ranked to climb.

i think jungle proficiency eay more importan than champ. i stomp everyone with toplane mid or support shen, but my jungle experience was disaster. Maybe enemy jg was smurf, maybe my teammates were so unaware but at 10 minute enemy jg was like 10/2/5 and i never tried again :D

Very good video! Saw the other one and played around in the practice tool, but this gave just that bit more information. And the editing truly is nice.
The cool thing is, Shen works in protect, stand your ground, dive, probably even split push. I think his worst archetype is probably poke, but Shen brings so much power to the other archetypes, I don’t think it matters, given that you can probably not kill a diving team, where the carry, has a super Shen ult on their face. Now towards my question, is Shen Z blind with how much teamcomp flexibility he brings? Or could he technically be countered by spell casting carries, like Cassiopeia. Honestly I tried to think of more spell casting Carries, that aren’t focused on single Target, but I can think of one. But moonstone, redemption, locket generally denies all of the damage anyone could do.
"just excited to start seeing some shen now" 9:35 the items and runes really help set this champ up compared to when he was first reworked. but the whole time his flexibility and ability to always be useful has been his strongest point. regardless of lane status (if hes top) thats why i liked playing him. in every game i felt in control when playing shen. i could just watch the game happen and always have an answer. learn about the whole game so much faster that way
