DXD has really good concept for it's story. The power of devils being tied to their corresponding chess piece. He's a really cool concept. Unfortunately it's drowned out with too much fan service. If there was a version that just cut out the fan service I would probably watch it all again.
Gundam Iron-blooded Orphans is my favorite it has great action sequences, themes, and mecha design. Witch From Mercury is good too my only gripe is it’s too short. Seed and Seed Destiny are great remakes of the original series. I haven’t watched 00 and I need to fix that.
I still find it fascinating that DxD's MC's VA became a cute anime girl. Like, if you see Mimcubus now, you wouldn't even recognize the big bust simp that was that character. I know a character is only that, a character, but I still just find it interesting.

Whenever a new season of anime comes out I look at it like a plate of food these days; I scrape the Isekai off the side of the plate into the garbage where it belongs and start working from there, I make my picks of the good stuff, and I always have one what I like to call "Junk food" pick which is something that juxtaposes my picks.
These days my pickyness for anime comes down to 2 factors 1. what came out on Netflix ( I pay for the thing Im gonna focus on whats there) 2. whatever I find interesting from the things that get hyped up Sometimes There's gonna be remakes I'll give a chance Or a manga I heard about gets a solid Adaptation If the description or the trailer doesn't get me even intersted I will not watch it. I ain't got time for another "basic power fantasy but the animstion is hype & has good writing" Edit: btw One Piece is worth the effort. You can save yourself time with One Pace
