    In fact, this is a very dangerous circuit, because there is no galvanic isolation. In addition, there is a very small current. I wouldn't use it in important devices

      Very unsafe. The Xc of the 2 x 0.1 capacitors is over 60K so only mAs. It will not work

    Просто, коли це будете всовувати в розетку - робіть це однією рукою. Другу краще примотайте до тіла, щоб не взятися за щось заземлене. А так - гарна ідея. Можна користуватися. А, і ні в якому випадку не чіпайте руками той прилад, який підключений цим, поки вилка в розетці.

      Що ж там гарного? По схемотехніці - можна зробити те ж саме використовуючи на 30% менше деталей. По безпеці - угадай, де зараз фаза. По функціоналу - заряджати тільки маленькі акумулятори, і то, такі які не жалко...

      It does not put out amps, at best a couple of mA. It is not safe with live mains wires.

      Very unsafe. Safe to touch after the two 0.1 capacitors as they will limit the current to a couple of mA. Not much use for charging a battery.

      Don't try this, you could kill yourself. It will not do amps, mAs at best. It will not even charge up the 7Ah battery so forget a car battery.

      Only a couple of mA and less than 12 volts due to the volts drop on the two diodes so it would never charge that 7Ah battery Also at 3.19 the connections to the battery are reversed. I hope nobody is killed trying to build this.

    Es ist lebensgefährlich. Die Schaltung liefert nur sehr wenig Strom, -zum Laden eines Akkus dieser Größe total ungeeignet. Wenn, dann bitte diese Schaltung nur vollisoliert nutzen!

    Có lẽ cos π rất thấp, tổn thất công suất là rất lớn. Chỉ thích hợp với thiết bị rẻ tiền, công suất nhỏ.

    It's just a capacitive power supply. Nothing new, advanced, or incredible. I've see it many times before. It's an old idea. It's perfectly good for low current applications, but the DC side floats at the mains voltage and needs to be treated with the same precautions.

      @@paolocane8875 Charging a 7Ah battery (that's 7000mAh) at 2mA would take over 3000 hours but the voltage is too low anyway. Notice at 3.19 the polarity of the connectors on the battery have reversed polarity

    Гавно схема. Что то подобное было в дешёвых китайских зарядках. К тому же есть гальваническая связь с сетью. Неэффективна и очень опасна.

      A bit of hot melt glue over the mains wiring would make it a bit safer as after the two 0.1 capacitors the current is limited to about 2mA. Not enough to charge a battery

    An idea never seen before and should never be seen again. Are you trying to kill people with live mains wiring. I assume that you are on 110V. This circuit will not charge a battery. The Xc of the capacitors is over 60K so the current will be less than 2mA. The voltage of the 12.5V zener is further reduced by the two diodes. The battery needs nearly 14 volts to fully charge. For a 7Ah battery charging at 2mA would take if it did that would take a few months to charge. At 3.19 suddenly the polarity has reversed on the connections to the battery, but hey ho it's still charging 🙂 I bet you delete this.

    A capacitor dropper circuit using a capacitor instead of a transformer to step down voltage is hardly "advanced" and "never seen before". It is one of the most common electronic circuits. However not sure why use are using 2 capacitors when 1 will do. There are better and safer ways to do it than this.

      @@jakejoliet8200 what do u recommend other than a invertor I don't have one and I can't take the car battery to the charging station sometimes I forget to remove the car leads Nd the battery looses charge so what is the alternative /easy way to charge from AC to car battery 40ah, at home as 240 AC is available, I think capacitor charge faster as the discharge cycles r faster esp with diodes to streamline pos n negative seperation, so is thr way out over, capacitor dropper circuit y not have a transformer after that capacitor n diode charger as will speed up the charging cycles may b higher capacity capacitors

      @@roshanmathew9443 The best way is buying a car battery charger, or building one yourself with a transformer (in your case it should be a 12v 40a one) and a high current diode rectifier. If the battery wastes itself you have a parasitic charge in your car, you have to find it, or put a battery disconnect switch.
