    Not a good idea! Electrolytic capacitors should never be use in a pure AC circuit, they require a DC component in the current to avoid reverse polarisation. Connecting the serially in reverse does not solve the problem. In the circuit shown these capacitors will age very rapidly and then will start to heat up potentially causing an explosion or fire.

    220V / 1.1Kohm = 0.2 A x 220V = 44Watt
    Sanırım bu devre yaklaşık 44 watt güç sınırlaması yapıyor. Fakat gücü kesmiyor.
    Eğer bir insan kısa devre yaparsa, sigorta atmayacak, ama 44 watt güç ile öldürme ihtimali var. Bu devrenin özellikleri daha iyi analiz edilmeli bence. Elektrikten anlamayan arkadaşlar bunu uygulamakta acele etmesin. Dikkat.

      @@nandonando3844 maybe i can explain a little in english. This circuit reduce maximum power around 44Watt. If 44Watt power pass through human, this may be dangerous. I warn people about this potential danger. Don't use this circuit without study and investigate very well.

    Although i use tester before plug in any appliance that i am going to fix having one outlet of the work bench with something like this can prevent from magic smoke and explosions during testing, this is not a permanent substitute for a fuse or a short circuit protector but can give us time to unplug and make corrections. Safety first guys, not try it if you not know to work with electricity/electronics

      @@ZAFERYILDIZ52 with this capacitors you have a Xc approx 20 ohms depending on the capacity. Xc=1/(2*pi*freuency*capacity)
      Thats only a few ohms to protect anything. Use a 100W light bulb instead. And you can see immediately if something is wrong.
      To publish those kinds of videos are highly dangerous because there are no explanations nor calculations for the theorie of operation at all.
      There are not only experienced engineers watching this stuff. If someone with insufficient knowledge playing with such stuff he is in danger. He will not be aware that in short circuit there will actually a high current rate flowing in the wires. Here actually 15 amp's that is not far from popping the 15 amp fuse in your home. And the 15 amp in the wires is the same 15 amps as you would get with any other kind of load. It already reached the protection limit of your 230V home installation.

      Faz nötr çakışmasında koruma devresi yapmış. Eski TV tamircileri için iyi bir devre ama miyadı dolmuş bir çalışma. Sigorta ve kaçak akım rölesinin atmasını önlediği için tehlikeli. Denemelerde yanma riski olan cihazlar için belki faydalı olabilir.

      bunun yerine arıza tespiti için seri lamba deversini öneririm tamircilerin kısa devre olan cihazları (invertör-tv-kaynak makinası-matkap spiral vs vs) bu şekilde patlatmadan anlamalarını sağlayan basit ama etkili bir devre. bu videoda da aynı olay mevcut fakat kondansatörler belirli bi yükü kaldırırlar fazla zorlarsanız patlarlar. ama akkor lambalar zorlandığında sadece teli koparır zarar vermezler.

    This scheme is dangerous! Even when using the X2 capacitors. You must use 2 capacitors and an back-to-back series connection of capacitors. If you save money and put 1 electrolytic polar capacitor, then there will be a boom. Capacitors act as resistance and limit the current for the consumer. The resistor should shunt the terminals of the capacitor, 100 kOhm or more is enough. If you put a low-resistance resistor, then it will heat up. The resistor discharges the capacitor after the power is turned off so that the person is not hit by the accumulated charge.

    If short circuit it will have a current of approximately 15 amp's on the feeding line. That's not a replacement for a fuse.

    Test amaçlı kullanınız. Çıkışta ışık muhakkak olsun. Kısa devre olduğunda ışığın kesilmesi tamire gelen malzemeler için sigorta attırmadan deneme yapabilirsiniz.

    10 amper sigortası olan bir AC kumanda devresinde çok nadirde olsa anlık kısa devre oluyor ve tüm cihazlara reset atmak zorunda kalıyorum. Sadece kontsktörlerin bağlı olduğu bir devre. Bu devreyi aynı değerlerde o sisteme kullanabilirmiyim.

      Serve para testar aparelhos que não sabemos que está em curto, evitando assim que o disjuntor da instalação seja acionado. Isso também evita que leigos tomem um susto nesse momento, porque os dois capacitores seguram o curto ,e não deixam passar para instalação.

    You guys attention pls, this he made is mostly used as a repair device but can use in normal too, it,s as protection ,if something happen and AC get kurtis between zero and phase -/+). Only 2 w device can be uses , otherwise the 10 k resistances be burned.

      @@caiqueaugusto7139 quando falei série, não me referi a ligação dos capacitores, mas aqui no meu estado chamamos assim esse tipo de instrumentos feito pra testar aparelhos que não sabemos se está em curto para proteger o próprio aparelho de mais avarias ainda,e a instalação da elétrica no qual o mesmo está sendo ligado, evitando assim de acionar o disjuntor .
      Portanto que fique claro que eu sei o que é ligação em série e paralela.
      Como se chama na sua região as tomadas preparadas para testar aparelhos em sua região? Toda bancada de oficina tem uma, aqui chamamos de série.

      @@ZAFERYILDIZ52 quando falei série, não me referi aos capacitores, só um jumento não sabe o que é ligação em série e paralelo, mas me referi a tomada preparada pra testar aparelhos que não sabemos que está em curto afim de evitar que o disjuntor seja acionado, na minha região,esse tipo de tomadas preparadas chamamos de série,toda bancada de oficina tem uma, como se chama na sua região?

      @@dermisomezequiel8528 de que região vc é e qual a voltagem utilizada nela? Sou do Paraná (110v) e estou aprendendo eletrônica ainda, mas em alguns testes fiz subir algumas faíscas se é que me entende 🤣🤣🤣.
      Então eu estou querendo fazer algum circuito de proteção, como este do vídeo talvez seja. Pensei na utilização de resistores ou relé, mas queria um sistema que fosse simples.

    I=230V/3.33K I=69mA P=69mA*230V P=15.8W Don't try this at home. (electrolytic capacitors are not good for this job)

    hola zafer.... si las resistencias en serie se suman sale a 30k x 2w y si lo pones en paralelo se divide y serian 3.3k x 2w y no como lo describes en tu video a 3.3k x 6w...... además ese segundo toma donde enchufas para la salida de los focos addentro tiene un circuito de protecció automatico para cortos circuitos.. siempre te sigo pero esta vez me decepcionastes.

      sigorta atmasın diye çözüm aranan bir şey değil kısa devre oluşunca atsın diye kullanılan bir şeydir biliyorsunuz. bu uygulamanın özel kullanım durumları olabilir ancak ev sigortalarıyla değiştirmeyin lütfen.

    Ta, circuito bem curioso, más como vamos saber se a energia que entra no circuito é uma energia alternada?
    se a energia da entrada for alternada, o que impede os capacitores de explodir quando a polaridade da rede se inverter?
    porque os resistores não queimam? (dada a falta das informações de tensão da rede, corrente que passa pelo circuito) considerando os seguintes valores: tensão de entrada = 220V, corrente máxima de 1A;
    220V / 3.33KOhm = 0.66667 A * 220V = 146.6674Watts Logo os resistores queimam.
    OBS: quando a pessoa do vídeo fecha o curto circuito na tomada "teoricamente protegida" podemos perceber que ela não mantém o curto por muito tempo, isso prova que no momento do curto os capacitores não servem pra nada e a corrente passa pelos resistores, sendo assim parte dessa corrente gerando uma queda de tensão e consequentemente uma potencia que por sua vez é dissipada na forma de calor.
